guys, help, no tears are visible, everything is in order in msm and zaz 7.0 is installed, but there are no tears, what should I do? thank

Have you got enough face overlay slots? Check in ShowRaceMenu

If not increase the number of slots. Also check bEnableFaceOverlays is set to 1. Both in NiOverride.ini.

I noticed that there some minor issues on a new start using Alternate Start.

Such as: Cover Mechanics cannot be activated. It gives a messages that it cannot find the animation because Cursed loot is not installed.

But Cursed loot is installed and it is above the Spank that ass in the load order, but the autoc cover animation in DCL works though. Very interesting. 
 

Also the Staggering and Piercing/Plug vibration chance on Spank cannot be modified, no numbers show up in the MCM menu and when modifying it doesn’t show it either.

 

- All mods are up to date to their latest version

- New game started with a lot of waiting so all scripts had the time to process their initial installation. And lots of saving and restarting to make sure all scripts have been launched.

- Configered all mods and saved and loaded again.

 

Any possible thoughts or ideas? Haven’t tried to modify the settings using the console yet.

If you have a NPC that follows you after spanking, but doesn't spank you anymore: could you check your save game with fallrimtools if you see a lot of active scripts of STA and also suspended stacks from STA?

 

Since STA v 4.0 I saw that NPC follow but don't spank, save game was full of suspended stacks from STA. Just need to know if it's just me or if someone else experiences this (update on a running game)

Hmm, this was on 3.9, so I'm not sure? Let me try to explain exactly what I saw.

 

I had a save I was running with 3.7 until I noticed that furniture spanks weren't working and updated to 3.9. I got pretty far with that until the save died due to (I think? I hope?) hundreds of suspended stacks from Aroused Followers. I started a new save with Aroused Followers disabled and the same copy of STA 3.9. Very soon after getting a follower he wound up knocking me around constantly, like he was coming up for a spank but then failing to complete it. When I checked in here I saw the 4.0 update and immediately downloaded. I played for a bit and unfortunately don't have the bugged saves anymore, so I can't check in on the stacks. ? I'll give it a few hours with 4.0 and see how the save looks.

My suspended stacks happened after updating a LAL base save that had already 3.7 and 3.9 and at the end 4.0 installed.

I saw on the save that STA kicker script existed 2 times on that save (that seems to be normal ?).  After leaving LAL I got the suspended stacks (those ghost just can hold their hands to themselves).

My guess that save was bugged already from multiple updates and mod exchanges.

 

That's why I have to test on a new game too. I'm not concerned yet ? Nope, I'm cool ?

I don't think so. There's a timeout built into the script.

Ah this is SLS. Not STA. But I wouldn't worry about it. I've changed it all around in the beta. DCL is no longer required.

Seems to work fine for me. Try leaving the mcm and go back in again.

just got back to this mod again and wonder if it works with whipping? 
Since whipping happens outside of Sex scenes (mostly) maybe its not possible? :(

Just wondered if the "bump" events can somehow be duplicated and adjusted for "whip" events. 

Basically I am looking for a way to add whip marks to the character via Slavetats during whipping, because the decal whip marks are removed after save and load and other events :(

Or if someone knows a mod....

Hi Monoman, I recently updated Survival and this mod but now I can't seem to get "speak" function to work anymore. The button doesn't do anything and I noticed that my character doesn't speak when spanked anymore, even though I have that option on. I've tried uninstalling this mod and do a clean save before reinstalling it but it just crash my save.

If that's Deviously Enslaved Continued I don't use it, so probably not? For what it's worth, the bug happened again on 4.0 with a non-follower NPC -- I think it was triggered by the PC knocking something over. The NPC followed me around like he was coming in for a spank but then not managing to complete it for a few real-time minutes. This time, I took a peek into my save, and did find _STA_SpecificNpcRunUpAndSpankQuest for that NPC and _STA_SpankPlayerAlias in active scripts. But unlike when this happened to me with 3.9, reloading the offending save made the NPC leave me alone, and when I looked into a new save made after that the suspicious scripts were gone. Out of an abundance of caution, I reverted to a save before the issue occurred, but I have a feeling I would have been okay continuing to play. Something just got... stuck momentarily? Skyrim!

Yea. I've been meaning to add 'whipping increases masochism'

 

Whip marks..... I WAS working on a mod that added whip overlays but it got shelved kind of. It is working sort of but not as well as I'd like. 

The problem is how to add loads of whip marks? You either need a separate texture (and by extension an overlay slot) per whip mark OR smaller groups of of marks using fewer slots OR one increasing texture.

A is impractical.

B & C => what happens when a group of textures has half faded and you get whipped again? You'd have to either reset that group to one whip mark or all the whip marks would blink back into existence. This makes C a bit crap. B just a little less so.

Perhaps you dropped back below being a masochist? Speak key only works when you're a masochist. 

Also uninstalling the mod will reset your masochism.

Hmm ok. I don't like random though. 

Let me know if it happens again. I think it is probably safe to 'StopQuest' those quests.

ok, this is my idea:

 

1. There are very good whipping textures (whipped ass, back, tits etc) and I can also make new "progressive whipping textures" with 10 stages if that helps. 
 

2. the marks should be added or refreshed whenever whipping happens. If not progressive, just add them all at once and be done with it. The normal Whip marks from Zaz (Decals) should STILL also apply to cover up the transition. 

3. when whipped again while whip marks still active but fading, just set the opacity of the marks back to 100%.

 

I think the easisest solution would be to use the existing "whipped back", "whipped" ass and so on animations as a set and just apply or refresh them at once as soon as a whipping takes place. I think this is also closest to how Spank that ass works. 
I just could not find the mod that adds the whip marks I mean, have to look... they are on my profiles somewhere tooo arghh.. 

What do you think?

I'm still at max masochist and I've also tried resetting it, in both scenario, the Speak key still does nothing. I thought the Speak key still work as a "degrade yourself" option when you are not a masochism? The "fuck back" function doesn't work either, so there's no way for me to stop the spanking in the minigame.

 

Edit: Nevermind I managed to finally to clean save and restored the mod without it crashing. Everything seems to work for now.

STA V4.0

 

Not sure if this is an issue but thought I better report.

 

I was recompiling STA scripts with some debug in to sort out an issue I was having (unrelated and now resolved).

 

Attempting this I found that _sta_mcm.psc fails to compile due to missing properties on _sta_spankutil.psc:

 

Float Property BumpSpankVibeChance = 33.3 Auto Hidden
Float Property BumpSpankStaggerChance = 65.0 Auto Hidden

 

These were present in V3.9

 

I added them back for the purposes of testing my issue and everything seemed fine.

Hmm....

Is DFC overwriting STA by any chance. 

I'll check more in depth later (phone) but bumvibechance is present in my source file. 

 

STa should overwrite DFC now.

Yep - that was the issue. I must admit I hadn't spotted that DFC contained a copy  of_sta_spankutil.psc or that STA now needs to overwrite it - thanks for the advice. ?

Many combat mods are incompatible with whipping because they stagger the PC out of Scenes or Furnitures :(

It's not something that's added to the player. It's just I disable stagger within STA if enabled. 

Can't do anything about outside mods.

A complicated suggestion, and because I don't understand nearly enough about textures perhaps impossible, but could one do this:

 

Whipping leads to replacement with progressively more severe textures, using Nymra's "10 stages" idea - additional whipping increases the stage.

 

When a timer leads to fading (by reducing opacity), it also "blocks off" that texture from further increases.  Any later whipping begins to add a new texture at full opacity - so there are two overlaid textures, a semi-transparent one that may be quite extensive, and a newer one that perhaps is far less extensive, but fully opaque.  The effect, if this works, would be to have an overall pattern of fading marks, but some of those marks would be fully-intense again due to the new texture.

 

Again, when the timer triggers, both textures lose opacity, and any new whipping leads to a new texture.

 

Obviously this could easily get out of hand, so two simplifications, one fancy and one easy:

1. If a "more recent" texture is at the same stage or higher than an older texture, there's no longer any reason to track the older texture - eliminate it.

2. Of course, track no more than "x" textures... 3 or 4?  Is that already too many?
