vaultbait Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 If it helps anyone testing, I've found that getting captured at Hangman's Alley (when it's not been taken as a settlement location yet) is remarkably convenient. Since it's deemed a settlement area, even though it's unowned, you can still sleep 8 hours on the mattresses there in survival mode or with Advanced Needs II. Sometimes you'll get a local Lucky and/or Bruiser or sometimes they'll be just outside at the Wreck of the USS Riptide. The rival gang location pretty much always ends up being Backstreet Apparel a couple blocks away... can plow through all the Raider Pet quests from there in fairly short order. Months later and this mod is still remarkably fun! One thing I'm thinking might be a useful improvement though is to have any condoms and contraceptive pills from FPE confiscated at the same time as your weapons. RES2:CSA abductions do this and it adds an interesting level of challenge to try to keep from getting knocked up. Might be even more immersive still if the raiders continue to take them away like they do with weapons you pick up while already their pet. 1

Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 My character was not captured in that place, but when I passed by (Jared's pet, with a collar, without weapons), I realized that I could claim the settlement with "Workshop Framework" without having to kill any raider. The option to claim settlement is in the MCM. I remodeled it properly, with a small cage with a bed for my character, hehe. You cannot bring settlers (they will fight with the raiders) and I don't know how to assign the raiders as guards or farmers, I think you can't (or I haven't discovered a mod that allows me to). But it is my little raider settlement.

But it is my little raider settlement. Abduction works great for this. I haven't "activated" it in game for a loooong time. But, it adds the workshop script to pretty much everyone. So, when unarmed/collared you can walk into Hangman Alley or Zimonja and claim the settlement, then assign the Raiders like normal settlers. They don't have the settler dialogue, so you need sub titles on. Really funny them asking for help with Raiders stealing their food. LOL Oh! and as a bonus... normal settlers wont fight them and they don't become hostile when you're armed/free. And... they will collar you (if you not collared) then ask for help. hehehehehe 1

Can somebody switch the collar off? The collar has 20 minute timer, real time. So if you don't make a Raider happy every 19 minutes, it will go boom. IF you're running Deviously Cursed Wasteland, you can't die and have to remove the collar to get things to reset. (leave, remove the collar then get re-collared)

Question - Collared at Corvega, and Jared mostly likes to spank me and kiss me ?, seems a little strange, but RNG? Sometimes after the kissing a sex animation starts, but clothed. The animation change is nice, and I can get past the clothing bit, but is that unintentional? Another animation keeps getting called for him too (and only him so far), which I have never seen anywhere else, Vadermania Cat, which since we are neither of us cats seems weird, it results in some standing around. Is this an issue with xml files or? I looked at the Vadermania esp, and it has no reference for the cat animation in it, but it is in the xml files that come with it (as m/m), and I assume the One Patch (which makes it f/m). Any ideas? I did have a funny thing happen, which broke a lot of shit. I was on the Entertain the Boys quest, dancing and then a gangbang, and you know raiders, always so jumpy. So one of them pops off a few rounds thinking he saw something, during the gangbang, I don't know if that raider was involved or not, but it was taking place in the main area entrance near Jareds office, and ofc there is fuel all over the floor. Everything goes boom, other shit starts exploding, it was pretty funny, but it stopped the animation, I lost the pipboy, and everyone stayed naked. I just reloaded an earlier save, but it did make me laugh. 2

Zaz has a really nice dance/stripper animation in the example plugin for the Zex Skeleton. I don't know if the Rohzima Real Animated Poses has any dances, its not available anywhere I could find, and I'm sure there are better dance poses somewhere, but the ones used in Gone Dancing are not as good as the Zaz dance, no offense to whoever made them, they just look strange to me. I don't know if its coming from Raider Pet or being called from an animation pack. I have Slave & Model Poses, and the animation packs available on LL, which makes me think it is from Raider Pet. I read Flashy got permission from Zaz to use it in part of one of his mods, so it might be available with permission and credit to use. It would make that scene a lot better imho.

The dance poses are from Savage Cabbage... Raider pet doesn't have animations. Fusion City Rising & Depravity have some "not to bad" but better dance animations. Dunno who Thuggy got em from.. of they made them.

I haven't tried Fusion City Rising or Depravity, they are on my todo list, they sound great. Sorry to SavageCabbage I guess, I love the sex animations though!

Animations are selected by tag, virtually 100% of the time. So if it's picking that one, there's something in the tags that matches... and if it's picking that one a lot, then there aren't many other animations available in your install that fit the bill. I don't think I've got the Vadermania pack installed, and I certainly didn't pick that one specifically.

Thanks, its not the only one it picks, but it seems to think its a kissing animation or something. I'll take a look at the xmls, what usually happens is a kissing animation, where the clothes are not stripped (probably a setting I enabled in AAF somewhere), then on the animation change the PC gets stripped, but Jared stays clothed. Immersive Lovers Embrace Remastered has a setting that that keeps actors clothed during kissing and hugging animations, it must be creeping into other stuff screwing up the undress for Raider Pet.

Basically, if you have installed all the optional files in SEU, you can hug and kiss while clothed. The problem is that equipment management and specific animations are coupled, so the kissing animations in Raider Pet are also affected. So I have to choose between 1. having chaste hugs and kisses as intended by SEU and also have fully clothed sex after kisses in Raider Pet, and 2. not install all the optional files of SEU to keep the integrity of Raider Pet but end up with naked, erotic hugs and kisses in SEU. It's a shame that AAF, on this aspect, is less flexible than Sexlab.

Since those are new positions, the only tags they will have are the ones defined in the SexEmUp_TagData.xml so they won't be played by Raider Pet. I probably should have done that from the start, it just didn't occur to me at the time. My original intent was to use the generic "Hugging" and "Kissing" and etc tags in SEU so that it could take advantage of any new animations of that type, but then Themes started adding those tags to animations that didn't make sense in context like that spooning/sex one. So I had to add my own tags, and then the clothing optional thing, and here we are redefining the entire position file.
