I got the message earlier telling me I was banned. But I'm not on that list?

 

Does the Nexus give short term bannings or are they always permanent? I'm a mod on a very large archery forum and I've given people short vacations. Just curious how they do it on the Nexus.

I found my banned status page. Awesome. This above is what it said. Yet I never mentioned modding a console. Derpity-friggin'-derp! I only mentioned moving console game saves to my 'puter, changing a few things via console commands and returning the savegame.dat files back to the console. Hell, it's just to bring my computer illiterate neighbor friend some more enjoyment from his favorite game. Geeez! Now he gets to play as Serana with Nocturnal's clothes, which is about as cool as he could hope for from vanilla Skyrim on XBox.

 

I still don't understand why or how a modding community could have an issue with altering savegame files.

well, lovely isnt it... lemme tell youre sth. your ass is history on the nexus. console modding is one of the biggest crimes there, you had a bazillion of high quality mods there uploaded? doesnt matter. contact us? you can forget about that. and even if basically you just used your pc to lets say make you have 10k septims, youre history.

 

the modding isnt the main issue, its about that word "console". my advice? dont give a crap. theyre simply narrow minded idiots.

How about this link I came across this link in a different thread on LL. This guy gets a warning from a staff member on the nexus I had to click it and check it out as I thought warnings were nothing more then a myth. I read everything then looked at the users name and was like WTH is the moderator blind he gives this person a warning but evidently never notices that the users name is IMAHOE.

Trolls do what they do best troll. If you have ever been on a gaming site or any site that has a chat option you will run into people that pop in yell curses then pop back out or sit there and try to get others to yell back at them then all hell breaks loose.

 

But me I don't put up with that shit when someone like that shows up in chat they go to the never to return from list that is at the bottom of the chat names list and anyone that's not smart enough to follow suit and instead starts acting just as bad as the one they are trying to get to stop they will also be keeping that person company at the bottom of the list. The bottom of the list is where the chat places muted people which is nice they can see what you type but you will no longer see anything that they post and if all else fails you can PM a moderator to come into the room or just send a message to the admins and they will look at the chat back log which saves everything you post so a person can't say not I didn't they can show yes yes you did.
