Is there a way to disable certain races / creatures / whatever they are from pursuing besides in the MCM? I've been noticing issues with the feature, where it would constantly notify me that NPCs or I were being pursued by "    ". No name at all, just emptiness. No matter what happened next, it would fail, and then try to pursue someone again immediately afterwards. I checked the recent engagements list in the MCM, and I traced it to what I think is causing the issue in SSEEdit: Some invisible creature created by Skyrim Save System Overhaul 3 that seems to be attached to the player, and endlessly tries to start engagements.

I can't delete the creature because it's likely part of how the save mod works, and I'd prefer to keep the save mod as well. Is there a way to flag it as ineligible for Aroused Creatures / SL, either in an MCM somewhere or by changing something in SSEEdit? I'm using SL P+ 2.12 if that matters.

That's bothersome.

You could try adding the SexLab Forbidden faction to the NPC in xEdit. This is not my area of expertise, but:

You would first need to load both the SexLab.esm and Safe Save System Overhaul 3.esp plugins together in xEdit, then add SexLab.esm as a master to the SSSO plugin (right-click > Add Masters). Save and reload the plugin in xEdit. Then you should be able to add a faction to the NPC and select the SexLabForbiddenActors faction (start typing "sexlab" and it should offer it in the dropdown) before saving again.

Keep a save from before this edit in case things go wrong, and you need to reinstall SSSO.

Check the Aroused Creatures MCM > Help page again. Possibly SL installation is not complete, or there is a configuration problem such as the creature being the wrong sex, or not meeting the invite arousal threshold.

Beyond that, we'll need to look at a papyrus log from a session in which the Aroused Creatures > General Settings > Debug option is enabled, and the issue is encountered.

Ok so first no problem in the help menu other than the Teleport option, the arousal threshold is at 0 to make test and it was indeed a male so i might need to see the Papyrus log i allready activate it but i don't know what i need to search for

Papyrus.0.logNormaly it's that one

[02/07/2025 - 12:45:47AM] Error: Static function GetMatchingString not found on object PapyrusUtil. Aborting call and returning None

This suggests that there is a problem with the PapyrusUtil installation. Download the compatible version of PapyrusUtil and ensure that is overrides everything.

And, again, check your antivirus folder exclusions and ensure that the download and installation are never in protected folders, not even temporarily.

How do u make it overrides everything ? In the load Order ?

In MO2, give it the highest priority in the left panel by dragging it to the bottom of the list, just above Overwrite.

In Vortex, you'll need to use the rules system to do this. I don't have Vortex installed, so I can't really provide instructions there.

Well even after a clean new Papyrus Install i get the same line with [02/07/2025 - 02:49:42PM] Error: Static function GetMatchingString not found on object PapyrusUtil. Aborting call and returning NonePapyrus.0.log. If u don't know why don't worry at least the invite work and it's a great start ;)

Glad it's working for you. But that error is troublesome.

What version of SkyrimSE.exe are you using? (right-click > Properties > Details > Product Version)

I would very strongly recommend updating to the latest version of Skyrim. SexLab is no longer directly supporting 1.5.

I was not aware that those functions were added in the 1.6-compatible versions of PapyrusUtil. But at this stage, I'm not going to start doubling-up on the code and testing to provide compatibility - I very genuinely do not have the time, especially when it comes to testing. I'll add a 1.6 dependency instruction to the mod description with the next update.

SexLab Aroused Creatures SE v4.12 is the last version that did not use the new functions. This is still available in the downloads for now, and will be available for download from the first reply in this thread after the next update.

Sorry for the confusion.

Nah it's me but do u know how i can see which mod will not work in AE version ? Maybe with SSEEdit ?

The mods you really need to look at are SKSE plugin mods, those that add DLLs. They can be identified in MO2 using the <Contains Script Extender Plugin> filter, or in Vortex using the Extender option in the Content filter (which may need to be enabled from the cogwheel icon on the mods list).

Each of these must be strictly and explicitly compatible with the installed version of SkyrimSE.exe and SKSE. Most will have updates available for the latest version. Some have third-party patches available. A few have been replaced by newer mods. Others have been abandoned. Be sure to read the instructions carefully, as installation instructions may have changed since 1.5. For instance, many more SKSE plugins now depend on Address Library, which also needs to be updated for 1.6.

Incompatible SKSE plugin mods must be replaced or uninstalled entirely, along with anything that depends on them.

Make a backup of your current game and mods in case you need to roll back.

It's hard to tell what's happening in that log, as the Aroused Creatures MCM > General Settings > Debug option was not enabled.

If you are trying to use the Dialogue & Interaction > Invite Open's Dialogue option, be sure to also check the Creature Dialogue options on the same MCM page. For instance, you may need to enable dialogue for horses or other silent creatures to be able to use them that way. Also, make sure the Play Invite Animation option is enabled in the same menu.

The "cast from None" errors are from Wet Function Redux SE. Not related to SLAC.

My bad forgot to enable it again, for the Dialogue & Interaction the horse dialogue box can't be enable and the other one so silent is enable but still no dialogue option.Papyrus.0.log

In order to access the Horse Dialogue option, the Silent Creature option must first be enabled, in order to access the Silent Creature dialogue option, the Enable Creature Dialogue option must be enabled. Disabling Creature Dialogue also disables the silent and horse dialogue options.

I'm not seeing any script errors from SLAC in the log, and I've just tested Invite Opens Dialogue in-game, and it appears to be working as intended for horses and other creatures.

One thing: when enabling a dialogue option in the MCM, you may need to wait a second for the following options to become accessible.

Another possibility is that the creatures are not actually usable for some reason. With the debug option enabled, hit N on the creature and check the notification. If the notification is red, it means the creature probably cannot normally be engaged by SLAC.

I don't seem to be able to upload screenshots right now. But the options should look like this:

=Creature Dialogue=

Enable Creature Dialogue

Creature Arousal Threshold

Allow All Creatures Commands

Allow Silent Creature Dialogue

Allow Dialogue With Horses

Allow Horse Theft via Dialogue

Creature Dialogue Sex
