It would be a whole new quest management procedure and would have to be integrated into the queuing system. There's also a call for contextual post-scene animations, which would likely be part of the same system.

Not simple, but definitely on the to-do list.

Hey thank you for even considering it, you rock! 🤟😁

So, one of the horses outside Whiterun banged my PC and now whenever I fast travel to an exterior location he spawns next to her then wanders off.

Fairly sure that’s not supposed to happen. Any ideas?

Hit N on the horse, then go to Aroused Creatures MCM > Help and click on the Clean option for the horse.

If there is still an issue, try setting Suitors to 0 under Dialogue & Interactions.

Beyond that, this behaviour (arriving with the player during FT and then wandering off) is what happens with some horse mods when the player's last mount is stolen. If you have another horse, or can buy one, try mounting and dismounting it to reset the last-ridden alias.

That didn’t do it, then I remembered I’m being a divvy and it’s not the same horse! It’s one I got onto by accident and now it’s fast-travelling with me, sorry!

I'm somewhat confused. I'm attempting to figure out how to install this mod so I can then install MadMansGun's Sexlab Dragons, but one of the requirements you've listed is PapyrusTweaksNG, and the comments on the Nexus Mods page for that are saying that add-on is broken. Is it safe to install anyway, or is there some other mod I should substitute for it?

PapyrusTweaksNG is not a requirement for SLAC.

The direct, hard requirements are SexLab and a compatible version of SexLab Aroused (I would now recommend OSL Aroused after recent updates).

The only papyrus-related mod needed is PapyrusUtils which is included in the SexLab installation.

That means I'm all set, then! Thank you so much. ❤️

Logs are overwritten by now, but there was nothing in it about skyui or sexmods, except for SOS. Basically the contents were buggy CC-mods whining that i don't pay them attention (fishing and survival mostly), racemenu crying about the old days of nioverride, and SOS being angy that not every NPC in the game has a dick. If there was supposed to be something else in there, it wasn't. Just to be clear: I'm talking about the log created, when i cleaned the mess AC left behind (instances and dropped frames), cleansaved with AC disabled, and then tried to install AC again.

I never looked at the log from when i started the new game. But the way i went about it was this:

1. All ~300 mods enabled

2. New game with alternate start.

3. Waited 5 minutes in the prison for mods to register and config messages to stop.

4. New save. Restart. Reload.

5. Configure or import settings for all non-sexrelated mods.

6. New save. Restart. Reload.

7. Configure sexlab. Leave creature anims disabled.

8. Activate SLAL packs and reset anim registry.

9. New save. Restart. Reload.

10. Configure SL mods, except creature stuff

11. New save. Restart. Reload.

12. Enable creature anims in SL. Wait a bit. Configure creatures in CF.

13. Wonder where the heck AC is

14. New save. Restart. Reload.

15. Wait 3 minutes for AC. No deal.

16. Try resetting SL and CF. Wait for AC. No deal.

17. Swear obscenities at AC and just start my game via the statue.

18. New save. Restart. Reload.

19. Wait for AC. No deal. Go outside... oh STFU survival, i don't want you. Does AC work now? Nope.

20. Go back indoors. Save. Quit. Load resaver. "Warning: AC is trashing your save. Hundreds of instances and dropped frames."

21. Swear even worse at AC: I fucking started this new playthrough because of savegame corruption, and here you are doing it again?

22. Wipe the daylights out of AC. Spotless. Then try to reinstall it.

23. Nope, Still no MCM. Save and quit.

24. Write angry post on LLabs.

25. Load the last save and go "WTF?" as AC registers within 1 minute.

Modlist (from MO2. Order reversed. Top is last, bottom is first):

  Reveal hidden contents

Well, it's dead-post, but recently got the same or similar issue:

- Old play-thought, everything is OK
- A new play-through, same load order, AC isn't registering, AC MCM not responding, and a few hours later I'm discovering major number of suspended traces (in all new saves) as if something was trying to register AC multiple times and caused deadlock.

The big problem here is that due to huge number of AC stacks it's not possible to remove the mod without causing save game corruption. (The only "safe" way I discovered was removing slac_* script instances - load the save in resaver, remove slac_* instances, create a new save file).

This appears to be tied to functions involved in initialisation and opening or closing the MCM. I suspect that this is a combination of game and SkyUI events that are failing to return for some reason.

Try the simplest thing, which is to change the load order position of SexLab Aroused Creatures.esp. Test this in a new game, as the damage may already be done to any existing save.

Make sure the game and mod installation is hygienic, as this problem could be caused by Windows security and/or antivirus blocking access to or corrupting some files. The old save is probably working with copies of the scripts it previously loaded, so it's avoiding this.

Ensure that Skyrim and all modding tools, including the mod manager, are installed outside Program Files and other protected areas of the file system.

Exclusions must be configured in any antivirus apps (including Windows Security) for:

  • The game folder.
  • Folders containing any modding tools, including the mod manager.
  • The mod manager instance or staging folders.
  • Any download folders.

These exclusions must be configured before installing anything. When adding new exclusions later, it may be necessary to completely uninstall, redownload, and reinstall any affected mods and tools. Exclusions can be silently reset by major Windows Updates, so be sure to check on them regularly.

It should be noted that I've never been able to reproduce this problem locally, so it's very hard to diagnose. Given the rarity, I suspect that it's something unusual in the setups. If you find out what it might be, I'd really like to know.

Well, mod index change didn't helped. Not that I never experienced MCM freezes, but this one is 100% reproducible with current setup even on new saves.

Maybe someone can help me with setup or explain the functions to me.

I don't understand the "PC/NPC Auto Settings"
I want that auto engagements only happens when both pc and creature are aroused.

so I allowed auto engagements

"Arousel and Consent" is set to 60 for creature and 40 for pc
Required arousal is set to "Both"

But It doesn't work ,  creatures with 0 arousal engage my pc
it looks like neither the creature nor the pc arousal are taken into account when starting an autoengagement.

What I'm doing wrong here?

Enable papyrus logging. In the Aroused Creatures MCM, enable the Debug option under General Settings, click on the Dump Settings option, wait for an unexpected engagement to trigger, then post the last papyrus log here.

With that, we'll be able to see what's happening and what configuration options might be contributing.

If you want to just return the configuration to default and undo any accidental settings changes, this can be done under the Profiles page.

Hello, I'm having a problem with invite button i doesn't seem to work for me, i allowed every creature and lower the required arousel to 0. Do u have any idea why it's not working ?

@Sailing Rebel

Check the Aroused Creatures MCM > Help page, which will display warnings for possible issues with the installation. It also lists recently failed engagements with failure codes. Highlight a code to see an explanation and possible solution at the bottom of the interface.

After a Check i think it's cause i'm using Sexlab p+ cause the creature framework has "fail" on it

Sounds like there may be an issue with the SLP+ installation.

If this is your first time using P+, make sure you are starting a new game. P+ cannot be installed in an existing save.

If it's taking longer than 30 seconds, then it sounds like a problem with the installation. There may be corrupt files for either Aroused Creatures or SexLab or both.

Ensure that everything involved in modding, including the mod manager, has been installed outside Program Files and other protected areas of the file system.

Make sure that exclusions have been configured in any antivirus apps for the game installation folder and all folders involved in modding. This includes the mod manager instance or staging folders, and any downloads folders.

After that, completely uninstall SLAC and SL, redownload them, test the downloaded archives to ensure they are whole and undamaged (right-click > [show more options] > 7-zip > Test Archive), then reinstall.

Always test in a new game.

Can it be cause i have too many animations

Unlikely. Even if SexLab fails to initialise properly, Aroused Creatures should still complete maintenance normally.

Check the installation locations, the antivirus, and make sure nothing is running as admin. Then redownload and reinstall.

Is there a way to disable certain races / creatures / whatever they are from pursuing besides in the MCM? I've been noticing issues with the feature, where it would constantly notify me that NPCs or I were being pursued by "    ". No name at all, just emptiness. No matter what happened next, it would fail, and then try to pursue someone again immediately afterwards. I checked the recent engagements list in the MCM, and I traced it to what I think is causing the issue in SSEEdit: Some invisible creature created by Skyrim Save System Overhaul 3 that seems to be attached to the player, and endlessly tries to start engagements.

I can't delete the creature because it's likely part of how the save mod works, and I'd prefer to keep the save mod as well. Is there a way to flag it as ineligible for Aroused Creatures / SL, either in an MCM somewhere or by changing something in SSEEdit? I'm using SL P+ 2.12 if that matters.

If you are switching between SL and SLP+, you must start a new game.
