Do you have SSE Engine Fixes installed? I'm wondering if the game is up against some sort of resource limit that's preventing more or large scripts from loading. Switching between OGSL and SLP+ always requires a new game. Swapping will not work in an existing save. Regardless, always test any changes in a new game (or preferably in coc qasmoke) to eliminate issues with the save file itself. Uninstalling SLAC is not supported. As mentioned in the FAQ, the best option is to revert to a save from before SLAC was installed. I have this same issue. Running the same setup other than upgrading to 1.7.104/skse/sexlab/slac 4.18. I looked in the source to see if that gave me a clue and I don't see the compare happening. The only calls to GetVersion() are showing this: [10/14/2026 - 10:45:22AM] error: Cannot call GetVersion() on a None object, aborting function call stack: [slac_Config (89001D8E)].slac_config.VersionCheck() - "slac_Config.psc" Line 1489 [alias PlayerAlias on quest slac_Main (89001827)].slac_playerscript.OnPlayerLoadGame() - "slac_PlayerScript.psc" Line 53 [alias PlayerAlias on quest slac_Main (89001827)].slac_playerscript.OnUpdate() - "slac_PlayerScript.psc" Line 145 [10/14/2026 - 10:45:22AM] warning: Assigning None to a non-object variable named "::temp19" stack: [slac_Config (89001D8E)].slac_config.VersionCheck() - "slac_Config.psc" Line 1489 [alias PlayerAlias on quest slac_Main (89001827)].slac_playerscript.OnPlayerLoadGame() - "slac_PlayerScript.psc" Line 53 [alias PlayerAlias on quest slac_Main (89001827)].slac_playerscript.OnUpdate() - "slac_PlayerScript.psc" Line 145 [10/14/2026 - 10:45:22AM] error: Cannot call GetVersion() on a None object, aborting function call stack: [slac_Config (89001D8E)].slac_config.VersionCheck() - "slac_Config.psc" Line 1491 [alias PlayerAlias on quest slac_Main (89001827)].slac_playerscript.OnPlayerLoadGame() - "slac_PlayerScript.psc" Line 53 [alias PlayerAlias on quest slac_Main (89001827)].slac_playerscript.OnUpdate() - "slac_PlayerScript.psc" Line 145 [10/14/2026 - 10:45:22AM] warning: Assigning None to a non-object variable named "::temp19" stack: [slac_Config (89001D8E)].slac_config.VersionCheck() - "slac_Config.psc" Line 1491 [alias PlayerAlias on quest slac_Main (89001827)].slac_playerscript.OnPlayerLoadGame() - "slac_PlayerScript.psc" Line 53 [alias PlayerAlias on quest slac_Main (89001827)].slac_playerscript.OnUpdate() - "slac_PlayerScript.psc" Line 145 [10/14/2026 - 10:45:22AM] error: Cannot call GetVersion() on a None object, aborting function call stack: [slac_Config (89001D8E)].slac_config.VersionCheck() - "slac_Config.psc" Line 1492 [alias PlayerAlias on quest slac_Main (89001827)].slac_playerscript.OnPlayerLoadGame() - "slac_PlayerScript.psc" Line 53 [alias PlayerAlias on quest slac_Main (89001827)].slac_playerscript.OnUpdate() - "slac_PlayerScript.psc" Line 145 Which is this line: If GetVersion() != slacUtility.GetVersion() && GetVersion() != slacPlayerScript.GetVersion() Seems like a problem with this line causes the entire function to dump. I never see a call to slacUtility.GetVersion even though that's the error message shown to the user. Edited 23 hours ago by foreveraloneguy
Marks Ace Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) I'm also getting those errors I'm still on version 1.5.97 new game and it pops up . Nothing is overwriting the script either going to have to do a bit of testing in MO 2 maybe a mod updated which is cause these issues when used with this mod. Edit : Solved my issue somehow it seems this mod maybe load order dependent with something in my list I checked xedit but there is no conflicts putting this mod higher in my load order prevented the script popups no Idea why though Edited 6 hours ago by Marks Ace
