I believe it would be a good idea to create a Star Citizen subforum, at least, in anticipation of the upcoming game. It seems like the perfect game for adult mods in the sci-fi 'verse. The thing is, many mods will not be made unless there's a big enough audience for it, and if there's no centeral forum where people can meet to discuss the game. I do believe this game has immense potential for modding, as private servers will be very customizable and interesting. So, this game has a few things which are essential for our mods to take off: Developers that embrace modding (and promote the concept of client-level mods on private servers) Easy modability! (Use CryEngine with texture and animation support) A huge community (~$80 million for this game raised through crowdfunding alone) A low barrier to entry (the entry price is ~$40) This game will be the game for mods.
