If you are like me and feel that there's a lot of dissonance between Lux interiors and Vanilla skyrim lighting, this might help you. All files are ESP flagged ESL. SCORN - Skyrim Consistently Oppressive and Rewritten Narrative (Beta Release) View File TLDR the 7.99 update borked my game, I dont have the time or will to go through an update right now or deal with the downgrade path, and likely wont anytime very soon. Consider me on hiatus. I would like to come back but will likely start with a fresh install of skyrim maybe on GOG so I can finally live without the stupid forced updates that keep happening. All of this said, I also believe in community collaboration, if any modders want to pick up on this work they are free to. Thanks for understanding SCORN rewrites Skyrim's dialogue for a colder, meaner world, one that runs on power and patriarchy. NPCs talk down to you, even when you are dragonborn. Guards threaten instead of warn. Merchants size you up. Men assume authority; women get reminded where they stand. Nobody here thinks the Dragonborn is chosen. You claw for every scrap of respect you get. The world of SCORN The world is patriarchal and openly sexist. NPCs address the player as a woman and treat her as lesser for it: dismissive, possessive, or leering, depending who's talking. Jarls, guards, and shopkeepers speak from above. Quests, Scenes, and ambient dialogue rewritten to match the tone Written for a female player character. Most of the dialogue assumes the Dragonborn is a woman and reacts to her as one Deliberately dark and openly misogynistic in tone by design. Expect demeaning dialogue directed at the player and at women in the world Language is not quite as intense as Sexist Vanilla, Sexist Guards, or Misogynistic Guards; if you want to use any of those, just load them after this mod. Some subjective choices I have made "Bikini" is now Dibellan, never been a fan of the word bikini in skyrim, Dibellan Armor is the closest lore friendly phrase I can think of Genital naming largely removed, words like "pussy", and "cunt" raplaced with more generic phrases. i.e. fuck my pussy -> fuck me. this is A. to make some mods sound less "porny" , and B. to improve experience for players that play with futa mods. VOICE LINES EXAMPLES Nurelion, Windhelm: VANILLA: I hope you have coin to spend, and you're not just here to gawk at my goods. SCORN: Hope you've coin to spend, girl, not just here to gawk. Around 1,900 lines rewritten so far, weighted to the high-traffic stuff: City ambient & street chatter: Whiterun, Windhelm, Riften, Solitude, Markarth, and the smaller towns Innkeepers, merchants & barter: greetings, haggling, services Guards: challenges, threats, idle lines Jarls & their courts: Balgruuf, Elisif, the war-camp leaders, stewards and housecarls Faction questlines: Companions, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, College of Winterhold Quest and follower dialogue across the main locations USE OF AI (I add this for transparency, because I like to be transparent. Please be kind, and if you don't like this mod or how I approached it: ignore it, improve it, or make your own.) Writing is largely AI generated for broad sweeps, with some manual rewrites here and there. Voices are generated with Inworld TTS. A language model wrote the lines against a fixed tone brief, matched to each line's original Skyrim voice type, so gender, race, and unique NPC voices stay intact. Voice quality varies. Rubber Duck's SAKR Repo View File Skimpy Armor Keyword Resource (SAKR) is absolutely amazing. However, not everyone has the time to manually add keywords to a bunch of different clothing items. This 'Repository' has been made with that in mind. What is this? A (master) download page for various SAKR patches. I will be patching certain clothing mods the way I see fit. From 09/04/23, every patch (INI) is created with my Rubber Duck's SAKR/RCP Gen tool. INIs created with ESLified masters probably won't work on your end and you will have to either change the FormIDs manually or (recommended) create your own INI with my tool. Requirements Skimpy Armor Keyword Resource RobCo Patcher some clothing mods How to install/use? About ESL-flagged masters... Fallout 4 has, unfortunately, a plugin limit. To bypass this, I'm applying ESL-flag to certain plugins; primarily clothing mods. What does this mean, exactly? To put it simply - it won't work as expected. To successfully apply ESL-flag to ESP plugin, one has to compact FormIDs for ESL. In a nutshell, this process changes values in the plugin. This becomes a serious problem when compacting FormIDs from a mod that's used by the other mod. It will most likely - break. My patches that have been made with ESLified masters won't work properly with RobCo Patcher (a new hard requirement for all the patches here) as it (RobCo Patcher) is looking for FormIDs that don't exist in your game. To fix this, you will (unfortunately) have to change the FormIDs yourself. Rubber Duck's SAKR/RCP Gen (link) I highly, highly recommend you to give it a shot! Not because it's mine, but because it allows you to create the perfect SAKR patch. Apart from the obvious issue (ESL-flagged masters), there's something else. See, the problem with using my patches from this repository is that they are made by me - for me. I'm applying SAKR keywords to items the way I see fit, and that might not be the most realistic case for certain items. If, for example, one outfit contains a short pants, most of the people would apply SAKR's Pants-Shorts keyword. I would, on the other hand, apply Pants-HotPants keyword. That's unfortunate and you'll have to deal with it if you use my INIs. Rubber Duck's SAKR/RCP Gen tool, will do all the work for you - you just export YOUR FormIDs from xEdit, load the exported file to SAKR/RCP Gen, select an item and all the keywords you want, and hit a button. That's it! There's a lot more information (as well as proper documentation) available on its page, so go check it out! Current progress so far: Note #1: '[ ]' indicates whether the patch has been made with ESL-flagged master plugin. If it has, it will read [ESL], else it'll read [Default].
