The "Bodyslide" program requires - in order to work correctly (see missing textures in the preview - like in your picture) - after its installation a start of Skyrim WITHOUT using the SKSE ... so a one-time start as if for the game has NO mods installed.

The game is then started again normally using the script extender (SKSE).

Hello, I need help on some CTD issues I've been having. So it only happens when I'm in outside of a walled city (so the open world). Usually as I just exit fast travel to a location (this time dawnstar) about 4-5 seconds later the game will just ctd. Crash logger seems to be pointing right at DD but I've never had an issue like this with DD for years now. Only thing I have added on in terms of DD is the new DD NG for OAR. Im wondering if that could be cause the crashes but I'm not sure.

It is hard to know exactly what is causing the issue for you because we don't know what your mod list/load order is or if you are building outfits and animations correctly. I can tell you that I don't have the same issue with either DD or DD NG when outfits and animations are built correctly.

 

If you think it is an animation issue, delete your animation folder and rebuild the animations in fnis or nemesis, whichever one you are using, and see if that fixes the problem. I don't use BHUNP but could be an issue with how you've installed it, you could try eiither CBBE/3BA instead or reinstalling BHUNP and see if that fixes the problem.

Well you confirm my fear, would have to use the nohdt, I remenver I had funtioning hdt chains at some point maybe was last update, its really a shame hdt cuffs and chains collared looked soo cool and was the ones I always used :(

Driving me insane, and i cant figure out what is causing it. It is any (speed restrictive item) chains, hobbleskirts, etc

 

Edit - i do not have much installed and defiantly no animations, or those kind of things. I have also run the Fnis thing several times

Let's see what the professionals find as candidates in their mod list... such behavior from the player's character is definitely known... but neither I nor they have the desire or time to read through more than 400 pages of tread...

 

I know that there are "variables" that determine the movement speed of the player character... values that are too large (whatever causes them) can lead to this behavior that you yourself observe

Usual suspects would be your settings in the DD (or maybe DCL, can't remember) and Zaz MCM, Pretty sure both have options related to boots slowdown effect and hobble animations. Easy way to figure out what is the cause would be to unequip boots and see if the animation is still weird - if it isn't, it's because you've changed the boots slowdown effect from it's default value in a mod. If the animation is still fast without boots equipped then I would try re-installing DD and rebuilding the animations in FNIS/Nemesis (as long as you don't have a mod like SL Survival which can change your barefoot speed)

it's helpful if you mention which version of skyrim you're playing on, otherwise no one knows if you're using the se, ae, or vr version of dd.

 

anyway the bound animations shouldn't occur when a character isn't bound, you probably messed up when building the animations. delete your built animations folder, re-run fnis/nemesis.

texture problem, maybe something is overwriting it. check if anything is overwriting dd textures in your mod list, or you could try just re-installing dd in case something happened to the rope texture file. i know that there are different colors of rope bindings in dd now, not sure if there is a green variant but make sure you don't have a green one equipped.

I can only guess what causes it. Player ability speedmult. Some mods set it in wrong side

First load a game without dress, then get result of speedmult

For that, open console and type

player.getav speedmult

Result must be 100 (100% or speed 1)

then load a save with this and check again

In this costume value must be 50

It not some mod train this value to increase.

You can temporary change this value (if mod not monitoring this value in real time)

player.setav speedmult 50

It will set dress default speed. Later after remove those you need check your speed again and if it not 100 return to normal.

Also if speed not change after manually change, check it again - if it not change, some mod prevent it from change.

By using older file from DD 5.2 Beta 10 RC1, the Iron handcuffs low FPS issue and Iron chain harness(Wrists) don't connect issue are dealt with. 

FYI, I'm still using HDT-SMP 2.11 and haven't touched FSMP. I guess different version of HDT chains perform differently between different SMP/FSMP version. So I'm not sure if this way could be others' solution. At least giving some hint, I hope

Hi man can you sent me the files you used to fix your problem? chains and cuff not working for me, cuff give me horrible frame rate and chains just dont work

Someone with DD SE 5.2 Beta 10 RC 1 conversion ??? I need those files to see if I can fix my chins and cuff issues, I have dowloaded the LE, but those xml are differents, I need the SMP SE ones that the links are down, I hope some day the modders in charge of DD fix chins and cuff issues

If you haven't been following along with Devious Devices NG, I'd highly recommend doing so.

OAR animations are used by default. You don't need the ones from the troubleshooting post or on the dev thread.

Audhol has an actual handle on the HDT SMP problems and is starting to fix these better than I could. Bonus: there will be SMP piercings for the soulgem piercings. No, prisoner chains are not yet done, they are a complete PITA. These are on a slow roll out as they are completed, don't expect everything to be fixed immediately.

Additional bound animations - yes, there are some new ones, and some are conditional on devices, stamina, and arousal.

Many, many other improvements behind the scenes.

 

I'll update the troubleshooting post sometime soon to point to DD NG as the place to pick up the fixes going forward. DAR/OAR downloads will be removed from there to avoid confusion.

 

This installs on top of DD 5.2, so you need both.

The old files should be on the troubleshooting post. not beta 10, but beta 7 - before i starting messing around with them again.

They are being worked on again in DD NG, with better results. They're just not complete yet.

You would need to edit the script yourself to get this behaviour. I am pretty sure you'd be looking at the SpellCastVibrate() function in the zadlibs script if you really want this feature for personal use.
