You can try at a blacksmith, or if that option is not available you can keep trying to escape. Depending on what you set the difficulty to, that can take a while, skyrim's rng isn't great, but you should get it eventually. or revert to a save before you got that locked on you. devious devices equip has mcm options to remove devices, but you might not be able to access the mcm right away since you're already restrained. i can't recall if that was another mcm that i had to set an option so it wouldn't lock when i was locked.

Yes, some things were reworked in 5.2 to allow more variety with sex scenes. one of the major complaints was why do plugs stop sex and make you masturbate every time. they can be pulled out and put back in easily. If you really don't want them removed, maybe try setting them as don't remove in sexlab? Dunno, never tried. It's not been a problem for me or one i've seen others complaining about.

Pretty sure in mine the reequip sound is heard, but the actual parasite does not appear on my PCs body. I always need to either toggle the parasites back off and on in the MCM or save and reload the game for the parasites to actual show again on the body. Which version of parasites are you using?

Just downloading will not do. You need to extract and install it too. Make it easier by using a mod manager, like Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex. DD SE 5.2 and its masters listed before Devious Devices - Assets, without the optional Beast support patches. If your master issues are not any of these, who knows what it is, but is not DD. Spoiler You will have issues if you selected something (Patches) in Beast Race Support without having the targeted mod already installed. The master errors will indicate which patch is missing it targeted mod. You do not need those patches, disable them from load list. Edited December 5, 2023 by safado

Plugs that ship with DD work fine for the most part, anal plugs get stuck inside but if you put a vaginal plug in it unsticks them. Plugs from other mods, in my testing it's every mod with DD plugs, think the anal plugs are vaginal plugs in the pop up to take them out. They also wont insert when any vaginal plug is already equipped be it base DD vaginal plugs or ones from other mods. So in mods like Simple Gold Starter or Captured Dreams where you get equipped with a couple of special plugs from those mods and a belt, sometimes the anal plug doesn't get equipped at all. I'm guessing because the vaginal plug gets added first. Things get really bad with Deviously Accessible which adds a hidden vaginal plug to stop vaginal sex and then later on wants to equip a special anal plug, it breaks the quest. Maybe I have some patch from the 5.2 betas in my list or some other patch is breaking things for me, but I'm not seeing anything in overwrites that would do that. Anyone else get this behavior or am I alone?

Yes, they are definitely getting reequipped for me. The other thing is I'm also running with DD NG, but that's relatively new. I didn't have a problem with them getting reequipped before using that. I help out on a list and i forget which we're on, but I believe i had them update to the new SE one in February. Edited December 5, 2023 by zarantha

Anyone else get this behavior or am I alone? If you're on DD NG now, take this over there please. They are doing some different things that will not apply to the original version. The only thing that should be overwriting DD is DD NG. If you have anything else, disable or remove it. Same with DD NG. Unless you're getting patches for NG specifically on the discord, nothing should be overwriting DD NG.

The answer is "no". The longer answer is there are unsupported methods, but you will be voiding any support by doing so. You can delete them from the ESP with xedit, but unless you also delete them from the scripts and recompile the scripts, you're just going to end up with a broken mess sooner or later. 1

Dunno if that matters. This is how my MCM looks like. Looks kinda scuffed

You're just missing the translation files for the MCM, there's nothing functionally wrong with it. If you're playing in another language, maybe try copying the english and renaming it to your language. If it's not there, try searching the support thread for the mod. I'm pretty sure missing translations was mentioned. Translations should be under \data\interface\translations.
