Fast answer: that's because in DD 5.2 @zarantha uses universal meshes for all dress and there cleavage is in other position as in mod. So texture replacement can't find necessary color. Will report more of my findings later when will be home.

 

UpD: after moving cleavage in outfit studio and resave project as new, cleavage are in right color and nothing seems broken even in my old bodyslide. Later will check others costumes.

Load the add-on after DD to DAR, or you won't get the updated walking ... ehm, crawling animations, only the new jumping ones.

If you have been using the DAR conversion before, no need, DAR picks up the new animations automatically.

Hi, I am new using SSE, and wanted to know if Devious Devices SE includes:

Devious Framework
Devious Devices - Assets 
Devious Devices - Integration 
Devious Devices - Expansion 

 

I want to use Simple Slavery SE but one of its requirements is Devious Framework, but when I read the requirements of Devious Framework it says that it requires Devious Devices - Assets 
Devious Devices - Integration Devious Devices - Expansion . But I can't find these mods for SE. 

 

So my question is if Devious Devices SE includes the above mentioned mods or is there any SE version for these.

Beyond that, make sure you have engine fixes installed and working. it fixes some issues with texture swapping iirc.

I am using CBBE as far as I am aware. Is the engine fix the SSE Engine Fixes mod over on Nexus? I'll try reinstalling that if so. Is there a way to know if it is working the way it should? I'm fairly new to using mods so I wouldn't be surprised if I missed some things.

I only just installed bodyslide a little more than a week ago. Version 5.6.0 is the lastest version, right? I can try reinstalling though.

 

Last night I noticed that it wasn't just the rope armbinders with the wrong color. I haven't been playing all that long so it didn't even occur to me to try other types. I got put into a, I think, leather armbinder but it was also black when it shouldn't have been. I would assume its the same issue affecting the rope ones. I see some talk about making changes to other items in bodyslide that have a similar issue. I'll wait to see if it works for armbinders as well. For now, the game is working. It's not a huge issue or anything. I'd just like the items to match like they should lol

none of the old dd are installed, the only thing rule wise is that dd loads after zaz 8.0 which im pretty sure means it overrides it
edit: running the game anyway seems to work fine so maybe the games just whining

I have no logical explanation of that. I spend 2 hours by comparing in xedit and DD 5.1 armbinders with DD 5.2, but not found as damn one changes! If i build DD 5.1 it's colored. If DD 5.2 black.

 

UPD: i even change texture into black version to red - in nifscope it's red, but in game black version still black. It's impossible.

You don't want to use that one. You want the SE version of Simple Slavery Plus Plus, which is the most updated version of that mod.

You don't want to use that one. You want the SE version of Simple Slavery Plus Plus, which is the most updated version of that mod.

I'm having an issue with the usage of the items. The textures and all of that works fine, but after I've put something on and try to remove it, it infinetly opens up the dialogue window of the close/escape etc. So when I try to close it I just see another window for ever until I reload a save, this is for pretty much all items that restrict the arms. I have another issue as well where I can not remove certain items. When I try to do this it instead opens up the equip window where I can chose to do nothing, or equip the item, both of which just leaves the item on.

There was a change i had to do in one of the nifs to fix the color swapping. Don't recall it at the moment, not even which bodyslide it was I fixed the nif on.

Make sure you don't have any old patches overwriting DD. Make sure you don't have any separately installed DDa, DDi, DDx, etc installed, these are old versions not used anymore. All of the old DD mods are now in the DD SE installer. Check the troubleshooting post and make sure you don't have any of the mods known to cause problems, like no enchantment restriction remake.

Ok it's probably works and it's difference in old nif and new. I can't tell clearly as after this fixes in shape nif and build in my old bodyslide armbinder goes fancy. Can't tell in black fancy or red) But probably it works.

UPD: it works. But not on my old bodyslide. So it's fine. As for me, if i build your model and then in result change flags, it works. But if change flags in shapedata meshes, then build, it goes fancy.

hey! i definitely made that mistake and they are installed, i just don't know how to fix it. how do i uninstall these seperately or reinstall without them?

This sounds like it could fix my issue with the armbinders. How would I go about doing this on my end? Bodyslide suddenly seems a lot more technical than I realized lol

I manged to fix it. to the one other person that also run in to this as well, this is how fixed it. I did the opposite of what zarantha said, I run both FNIS and nemesis and for some reason that worked.

Heyho, small question: 

 

what's needed to be able to lock an actor in a contraption? No devices are worn at that moment and no scene is running. The only thing is that SetPlayerAIDriven() is true, is that a mistake?

 

That's the code I have right now to try and get a sex scene. The function that holds this snippet is called AFTER the end of a scene with the player, so they shouldn't be part of any scene anymore, right?

Having an issue in-which that seemingly every item isn't applying the proper affects. The bondage mittens aren't tied together and are still able to be used to attack, the accompanying foot chains dont slow the character down.

There's another mod that causes my character to cover them self when fully naked (unsure which it is) that may be the culprit; however, im still unsure. I would appreciate some help diagnosing this issue, thanks for reading ^-^

uninstall all of them and install only DD SE 5.2

It's not supported, and does not work for everyone. Yes, it *can* work that way, but you're on your own if it breaks again.

Make sure you don't have any of the mods that cause known issues on the troubleshooting post. Make sure you don't have any of the old DD mods installed over DD SE 5.2. If you have DDa, DDi, DDx, DDc, DD for Him, or DD BRRF installed separately remove them. If you have old patches for DD from other mods, remove them. If you have Devious Lore, upgrade it and any patches you have for it.

 

There are at least three mods, maybe more that do the cover self. I suggest you get familiar with the MCMs in your mods, as well as what each mod does instead of installing so much stuff you don't know what is doing what. Mods to check are Defeat, DCL at minimum

Thank you, if you; however, feel like helping me further. Im still having issues, characters hands are disappearing with the arm binder, then the arm binder isn't appearing at all. As well as with whatever the """"insane asylum"""" cross body binder is causing the hands to just float in their normal positions without arms.

I apologize for the abysmal frame rate, but as seen here. The hobble skirt is not decreasing player speed, nor' is the ballet shoes. I also set the hobble skirt to hopping and it did not change in game as seen in the video.
