LilHel Posted June 18, 2023 Posted June 18, 2023 I have a slight problem where where the hand and feet do not conform to the equipment equipped. ex. with an armbinder the armbinder renders but the arms stay outside of the armbinder as if it were never there and for the hobble dress I have installed the hopping feature but even with the base feature the dresses mesh gets stretched and the character proceeds to walk as if normally with the hobble dress slow applied another problem was that the chastity belt and bras likes to disappear when a latex suit is equipped. I am using zaz animation 8 since it was the newer one idk if I'm still supposed to use 7.

Please, share the save that you opened in resaver. As I thought, it is locked in mutex, and so all threads are going on forever (and all are blocked on zadGagEffect, which is also strange). I've only just converted to SE after years of modding with LE so there may well be a well known solution to this that i'm just not aware of. I've been having a problem with DD devices where I immediately get a ctd when I try to equip the handcuffs or the prisoner chains. I've been trying to work out why for hours and I cannot, for the life of me, figure it out. I had a similar problem with LE a while back but reinstalled HDT physics and it sorted it straight away. No such luck here. I've triple checked all requirements, reinstalled DD and both HDT-SMP and Faster HDT, played with bodyslide settings a bunch (I've run FNIS every time obviously) but no luck. I'm having no issue with any other aspects and also the ZAZ cuffs are having no issue. I'm using the CBBE slim body if that helps in any way. Oh also I downgraded from AE back to SE 1.5.97.0 when I found out how much of a pain AE is to mod for. If anyone has a solution to this I would be very grateful.

I tried adding 3 head restraint keys, 3 restraint keys and kimy's key, but nothing worked. I might deactivate it because it's not that fun to play with, and theoretically you can just wait or sleep the time off. Actually playing with it is just RP.

Looks like that for some reason, in your case it was also checking gag effect on NPC. This caused the whole papyrus engine to get clogged. Dunno why, so for now I just added some more checks which should prevent this from happening. But I'm not sure if that will solve the issue on your existing save. You can try the updated script, and if it still doesn't work, you can try to terminate the threads in resaver. But I'm not sure if that will solve the issue on your existing save. I wonder if that's why if I kept playing on one of those saves, it wouldn't take long for other things to start breaking. The way I play lots of NPCs end up in restraints, so it doesn't surprise me if it was calling for checks on them. I use the Devious Strike mod, which can potentially start tying up NPCs that aren't even near me but might be loaded in the distance. That in combination with the Adventurers and Travelers mod, and a mod I made that puts over 100 unique NPCs in the world that travel the roads means the roads can be very populated sometimes, which can lead to a lot of things happening to them even if I'm not in the immediate area. I have already continued from a previous save, so I'm further along in the game for now. I can check to see if this patch fixed the bad save, but I doubt I'll mess with the resaver considering I dont know what I'm doing with it anyway. I'll update this post a little later and let you know what happens either way when I play. I'll also give my current save a bit of a stress test to see how it handles things. Thanks for the patch. Edit: So the patch did not fix the already broken save, but after playing for 90 minutes or so with a good save, there were no issues. There should be a toggle or option in the DD MCM for them now.

Either you don't have Faster HDT SMP installed, or it is installed correctly, or the prisoner chains hate you for some other reason I've not been able to track down. If you have FSMP installed and working correctly for other things, then build the no HDT option for the chains in bodyslide. You don't need to rerun FNIS for this issue. 1

You need to wear it for some random number of days between the min/max days settings without having sex. You can't wait through it. Not so sure on sleeping through it. Defaults are a minimum of 5 and a max of 20 days without sex. If there's a key option, it won't let you unlock it early, it just means you need a key to take it off after the no sex requirements are met.

For the heavy head harness, if you can make something better, go for it. Otherwise that's what we have. Keep in mind development is in LE still, the SE/AE version is a conversion only. To add further confusion to the issue I'm going to tell a story that makes no logical sense at all. A while back I downloaded 2 follower mods off the nexus. Serah and Lightning from Final Fantasy 13. I'm not even sure if they're still on there or not. I was using them for a while, but I eventually decided it was time to clean up some mods, and they were among the list chosen to uninstall. Well after uninstalling those and a few other mods, my game suddenly started crashing. After some testing, I noted it was crashing every time the prisoner chains, and I think handcuffs? were getting equipped. To make a long story short, lots of testing, uninstalling, and reinstalling later, I determined that it was those 2 follower mods I uninstalled that caused the prisoner chains to crash my game. I know it makes no sense, but when they are installed, everything works fine. When they are not, it crashes. New game, existing save, doesn't matter. I don't understand it, but all I know is that I have to have those 2 mods installed or everything breaks. I wouldn't be in the slightest bit surprised if some of the issues people are reporting started after they removed some mod that would seemingly have no impact on anything. I would recommend asking those who have had it working in the past but not now if they uninstalled anything recently. 1

Watch this That's very interesting info, but it still doesn't explain why the chains crash the game without the mods installed and do not crash the game with them installed. I'm literally doing the exact same thing every time I test it. Now I'm curious if that bug applies to loading a different save as opposed to loading the same one. Like, if I just wanted to switch characters in the middle of playing, if the bug still kicks in. Edited June 20, 2023 by serranna

static69 Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 hello, this is my first time installing devious devices on special edition and with mod organizer. the game starts fine but if the character wears a devious device it turns invisible. Also inside the bodyslide application it shows the objects with the "no image" on it. I am using nolvus mod list and don't know what paths i need to change, because it seems that some directories are not correctly selected. Attached you can see some images which show the most important information. also for some reason the pet suit shows correctly. Thank you in advance!
