Ok, that jogs my memory some. I recall messing with the chains to get them to fit the necks again. 

 

The problem is the original chains didn't convert very well to SMP, and are very twitchy about any nif changes, so it's easier to use the working base mesh than try to make the changes again. That was also the reason for the alternative non HDT versions to use the full chain harness instead, as some people still get a CTD with them that I can't reproduce.

Okay. I am back playing the game after a long absence. I had the mods dialed in the last time I played, but now DD crashes the game almost immediately. All my mods are up to date, since I had to add them again. 

 

All my mods work except this one.

Is there any way to allow animations to continue as normal with plugs? For example allowing anal animations with an anal plug? I tried messing with the animations options in the MCM menu but couldn't get anything to work. Is there any workaround?

Make sure to uninstall any old versions of DD. Install only the version linked on the first post of this thread.

 

If you are using VR, there's a incompatibility with DD and the latest version of consoleutil that causes a CTDs.

No, the animation filter can't be disabled. The options in the MCM basically lets you work around a few things, plugs is not one of those things.

That's not really what I asked. Old versions means the separate DD core mods, which some people are still installing on fresh installs.

  • Could you provide a mod list (not a plugin list)?
  • You installed only "Devious Devices SE & VR 5.1.7z" and its requirements?
  • Is this SE or VR?

@zarantha   I'm currently in the middle of doing a voice pack for Devious Devices Integration

 

I'm running the synth software against the .esm from Devious Devices v 5.1 Fixes

 

The problem is, I can't remember where I got it from.

 

Any thoughts?

That's not ringing a bell.

 

Maybe one of the fixes we had during the beta?

Or it might be something you merged from the workarounds on the troubleshooting post.

 

I don't recall anything being modified in the ESM after release. If there were changes to be made, I'm putting them in the DD SE patch included with the installer for now until I'm sure I can properly save the ESM without breaking it. If anything was modified in the ESMs, it would have been functions rather than dialog. Otherwise, fixes post release have been loose files and bodyslides.

 

Just curious - were you thinking of doing DCL too at some point? I'd like to see it, but don't think it's the right one to learn on. And I feel guilty about asking for another large product on the vasynth threads. :D

So Far SD+ is the largest I've done so far, and it comes with many SW crashes.

I'd like to get a mid-sized one like SD+ out and fine-tuned before I go larger

 

Cursed Loot is under 100,000 lines of text

Slaverun Reloaded if 650,000 lines of text

 

USSEP & Relationship Dialog Overhaul are about the size I want to tackle next - 105,000 & 120,000 respectively

 

To let you realize how much work is involved, SD+ at 40,000 lines took 7 hours to just produce the .wav files

 

My computer is no slouch either, 12GB GTX 3050, 64GB system ram, and an intel I9 processor

I've got the time right now, but mostly I'm trying to finish tweaking my load order for a stable playthrough at decent FPS. I added too many mods and now I'm in the process of trying to decide what I can live without. I might tackle it if there's not a new DD release by the time I'm ready for another project. For now, I just want to play some. :)

So not the complete mod. It might be some of elsidia's fixes, but they were never collected into a single zip that I know of. I didn't see anything with that name on a search through this thread.

 

Assuming I didn't miscount, I've got 71 dialog topics. I'm willing to bet the version you have didn't touch dialog and should be safe enough to use even if we can't track it down.

Hi!

 

A couple of posts up I left a voice for Devious Devices 5.1 SE

It's the voice files from the dialog synthesized

 

Packaged the way it is, is good for SE

Unpack the BSA and the sound folder can be dropped into the LE mod

 

You can treat this as resource material if you like it.

 

That way you can play "modding the game" some more.?

I don't like a Skyrim. I play Skyrim  as addon to DCL.

I never kill any dragon in Skyrim. Even first what's need to complete story quest.

I see this dragon only once by accident and after that reload previous save to do not trigger this story quest.

PS: some game mechanics i like in Skyrim. Like build own home and skill leveling up system.

Probably not immediately fixable, and may not be a DD bug at all, since I'd expect the overlays should respect when the body part is hidden. Maybe ask on racemenu to see if it's their bug, or if there's a better way to hide the body part. I've recently discovered posing in outfit studio, and that may be a possible workaround, but it's a lot more time consuming to do instead of deleting that part of the shape, which is what they've done in LE.

I recently did a fresh install, and now all the plugs and vibrator effects stop immediatly in start.

On NPC they work just fine.

It is a known issue, and is there a fix? I couldn't find anything

It's not known. If anything, i've seen the opposite, the plug go on vibrating indefinitely. That was an arousal issue with one of the arousal mods though.

I'd still recommend starting there, it might just be a variation on that bug.

 

What arousal mod are you using? (Redux, Babo's, Extended, Modular?)

 

If you're using Redux, you need to go through your load order the hard way and see what's conflicting.  Remove everything except DD and it's requirements, test, then slowly add in mods one at a time until it breaks again.

Posting the response here too for others to find/see.

 

No, there's no fixes for overlays showing when the arms are hidden.

 

We are able to conform the straitjackets in outfit studio by posing the reference shape, but that has no effect on the pose used in game because the in game pose uses specific animations and we can't change the animation.

 

I'll also say this must be a racemenu issue. If you use overlays and then play the vanilla start, I've seen my arm overlays (with no arms) obscure my vision briefly during the time when you are getting ready to have your head chopped off. No DDs are in play at that time.

 

In the end, the overlays shouldn't show when the reference shape has been edited to remove the body part they are overlaying. It's not something fixable in DD or in outfit studio.

I can't figure this mod out. Is it only a framework for other mods or is it a standalone?

 

Does it only work if the player character is female?

 

You mention:

But you never mention how to actually trigger the sex scenes? I can get an NPC on the furniture but when I try to trigger a sexlab scene with them the furniture disappears. It doesn't seem to matter what option I choose. Do I need one of these other mods to do it?
