This happened a short time later. We had recently picked up a novice mage, Raccoon, while traveling through Winterhold. When we stopped in a nearby mine to warm up, Borgakh made a pass on the new recruit and she rudely declined, so the orc decided to teach her a lesson. Hide contents i have bijin also it's more the body i like, i'm using unp as always, i'd just love to have more variety in the bodies.

Ahh, yeah, I built a custom UUNP body based on Leyenda 2.0 in bodyslide. Borgakh is the higher weight scale of the sliders. For NPC variety, I've used Everybody's Different with great success in the past. Takes a bit of work to setup properly, but it can add a ton of variety to your game. FauxFurry Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 I've been trying to restore a bit of Immersion to the setting recently. Not so much by installing the Guard Armor Replacer but by making BodySlide files for the outfits in that set. It is all well and good to cover up the grunts and cannoncrossbow fodder (as Hercules said in God of War 3, "Armor is for Weaklings!") but any attempts at 'realism' are ruined when every woman has exactly the same petit body type when wearing armor. Real Medieval armor was custom made to the wearer's body shape, not one size fits all off-the-rack affairs. Spoiler

Real Medieval armor was custom made to the wearer's body shape, not one size fits all off-the-rack affairs. Kind of a limitation of Skyrim and its nearly 10 year old software. Everyone has roughly the same build in a specific set of armor, outside the effects of a single weight slider. Best you can aim for, unless you want to script in some fancy randomizer with different shaped clone armor sets, is to make the differences between the high and low body scales extreme. Then in Creation Kit change the template females used by guards/etc to have lots of variation on the slider. Makes me glad I'm not a big immersion buff in that sense. Seems like a lot hassle to set up Skyrim in such a matter. I'll stick with my idealized body designs Oh and if you do decide to use randomized cloned armor armor sets I don't recommend just throwing a bunch of randomized leveled item sets into the NPC outfit objects. I tried that to randomize the clothes NPCs wear: let's just it adds a huge memory load to the game, especially during cell changes.

I already do the first part using the Sticc to Thicc body tweaked to be Sticcier and Thiccier. I'll give the CK part a go. I'm thinking that a 100 weight Thalmor is a big girl in my game but the armour doesn't reflect it. Edit: I failed. Could you provide a link or a bit more detail, please? Where is this slider in the CK?

I get a lot of that but mine are always face down, arse up. Animals and humans. If you out what's causing it, let me know as I would welcome the variety.
Ernest Lemmingway Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 Trying to figure out how to configure Skyrim to take advantage of my Nvidia RTX 2080. Also trying some different ini settings to see if that doesn't help with crashes (thank you for the blog, @donttouchmethere; it pointed out some things I had set all wrong).

I do something similar with the Sticc to Thicc body for my default body and use different bodies with various NPC replacers and followers etc. PC can have her own body. It can be a bit of a pain getting the right armour/clothing with the right body. I tend to avoid anything which uses a skyproc - just one more thing that can go wrong.
Grey Cloud Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Wondering why I can't turn my back for 5 minutes. The central one was something like 'font of spellcraft' and the left hand 'CTD'. I think they are from an armour mod called 'The Art of Magick'. There's a guy behind me at Farangar's table who is from that mod.

goaway Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 As I'm getting better at working with multi-layer parallax textures, I went back and re-worked some of the stuff I had previously made that uses this effect. A lot of it looked really nice in low lighting, but it washed out too much in daylight or well light areas, so I changed the layering a little and the lighting scales. It looks a little strange in static shots, so I made a few tiny jpgs of different angles. This should help demonstrate the effect, you can see the texture looks different at different angles since the inner layer is rendered relative to your viewpoint. Spoiler Probably is a lot of effort for what is mostly a cosmetic addition, but I've only ever seen a few mods that used MLP correctly, so I thought it would be something cool to get working for the big update of my mod. 2
