What are you doing right now in Skyrim (Screenshot required)

Just starting a new game with my new character - Sword Coast Sid a.k.a. Big Sid.

He's just arrived in the Silver-Blood Inn courtesy of AS LAL.

His beard is supposed to be grey according to RM. That's his default schlong, nothing to do with me.

I've suspected I think since I started messing around with book images that either I have a half-installed ENB or something else is messing up my brightness/lighting settings.  Outside is brighter on books and certain other things. It really messes up how pictures look.

 

Here's a sample as I'm nearing 100 added random note scraps, plus probably 10 books of assorted images. Eventually I'll pull out working files and package this for a mod so people can suggest which books get what image and other things that need advertising for mods, vanilla locations and events, and such like.

 

This first set was taken outside, (you can probably see the ground behind) and the pictures are overly bright even though it was cloudy and raining, and nothing else in game was all that lit.

Some of the text is pure placeholder, something I can use to pad out a page and test alternating text with images.  Pic 3 and 4 are pages 5,6 and 7,8 in a book I created to see them and a few others.  The first two could be used in a mod as straight up loot sellable for coin, collected for some means or used to start a quest of one kind or another.

Yet again, I am midway through another playthrough that has descended into a corrupted saved game I cannot rescue. I'm asking myself the same old questions: Why do I play this buggy mess of a game so obsessively? I've put 4,746 hours of playtime into Skyrim since it released and countless more hours researching, downloading, installing and tweaking mod setups. Why am I so addicted to this strange video game? Why can't I give it up? I could do so much more with the time I've poured into it, but even now I'm thinking about streamlining my mod list and starting over. I've deleted the game and all my mods at least 5 times over the years. All I've learned is that it'll take a solid 3 days of work to download and reinstall everything again. Do I start another playthrough, or try quitting again?

 

In looking through my screenshots folder, I discovered that I habitually capture the same door over and over again:

@vydla There is a thread devoted to showing sex shots - this is not it. Also, nobody wants your bitmaps and one or two jpgs would have sufficed.

I know what Big Sid is doing and I know what Zun is doing in the background. What I don't know is why or how she is doing it.

I actually gave her a bow and a 2H sword. Next thing I know she's got a conjured 1H sword and is firing megadeath at all and sundry.

Getting ready for my second attempt at jumping down to the next level. The first attempt didn't really happen as one of my 11 followers bumped into my back and knocked me over the edge, missing the next level and possibly another one after that. Splat and reload.

A lot of the kidnapping victims being rescued in both the Dawnguard and Companions quest lines are inevitably going to be women. It is very equal opportunity distressed citizen liberation. It is rather like the Golden Axe series in that way.
