Any plans on megacorp integration? Sex sells, after all. I can totally see some porn/prostitution corporation opening branches all over the galaxy to get unity and shekels.

I've already made a xenophile pascifist megacorporation called 'Aphrodisiacs.inc'. The game doesn't specify what products the brand consists of, so I'm free to interpret it the way I want.

The removal of the pop tile grid kinda limits the adult modding possibilities, but we'll have to see what the modding community comes up with.

At least now I don't have to micromanage everything like before, so all in all the game has improved regardless of the downsides.

I honestly think once you remove the idea of truly needing the old tile grid and adjacency system the new planetary systems adds more options than it removes. For example with the new resource production chains the Cowgirl ranch, the milking facility, and it's upgrade the mega milking facility can now have a proper set of jobs and resources assigned to them. They merely need some of their concepts and implementation to be revisited. I fully realize this takes more time and effort to bring the mod forward into 2.2, but I honestly believe the new options for modding will result in a superior version of MASSA....

Edit: Also keep in mind that essentially there was no true penalty for simply moving pops around on the old tile system, all changes were instant and easily interchangeable pops meant that there was no penalties or benefits truly to what pop was on the tile other than their class status within your empire and the pop's traits......

Personally I think it significantly increases the possibilities. You no longer need to dedicate a whole planet spot just to brothels, and only get one pop of that type or whatever. I think the new job system will be good for that stuff.

So before anyone asks: yes I am still working on the update. Its just taking me a little bit of time for a few reasons.

1) There's a lot of little changes I have to make to my code. Lots of mindless work really.

2) I'm taking it slow and easy till Paradox releases its after update hotfix patch (let's be honest the need for such is a surprise to none of us lol)

3) I actually don't own Megacorp yet, but will after Christmas, so that's a thing.

4) I'm also enjoying some other games at the moment so as to not lose my mind.

So in short expect something "soonish". In the next MASSA update I will almost certainly be removing my buildings a few other features, at least in the short term, so I can take the time to actually relearn how they work without making you guys wait even longer for a MASSA update.

Good for you, that you'll get Megacorp. Just don't make it a dependancy, please!

I don't see how there would be a dependency, since the job system is added in the basegame. i think 2.0 or 2.1?
It would be sweet to get an addon to MASSA dedicated to megacorporations but that could probably be supplied by other modders with darkspleen perhaps making one once he's done.
Besides, Massa is the most fun to play in a wide empire and megacorps pretty much limits you to play as a small and tall empire with subsidiaries.

As an Aside.
@ Darkspleen, i was making an edited version for my own personal use back with version 0.16.3 focused on changing some event texts (grammar and scenario) and the images to some of my own preference with a more Anthro focus. And i was already starting to tinker with doing this for the newest version as well before reading this. (0.17.4)
If you would like me to help you out on making an alternate version catering to this angle, or perhaps with spelling issues that i have noticed are still in the event texts. I'm open to the prospect.

As a general rule of thumb I mod with all DLC in mind. The glorious thing about Stellaris, however, is you can put checks in for if the host of the game owns a specific DLC or not.

I can think of a few megacorp specific events to use. But that's for waaay later.

Anthro isn't really my thing, but I'm always open to others making modules/versions of MASSA that cater to their interests. If you'd like to do that I'm more than happy to help in any technical way I feasibly can. I honestly love the idea of players making their own modules for MASSA that focus on certain kinks or gameplay mechanics.

As for the spelling. Good god how bad is it?

I'll send you a PM with my discord tag we can discuss this in more depth there.
As for your spelling, it is not abysmal. Just a few things mispelt here, a few things that are weirdly or wrongly phrased there, again i can talk more about that later.

Yeah, I noticed that, too.  A few fanfic-level copy edit errors, nothing that really stands out as bad.

Yeah, to use book publishing as an analogy, its mostly just the kind of errors that an editor would have caught, sent to a proofreader and then have corrected before sending the work out to printing.

Anthro means furry, yes. Its not really my thing, so there are no furries in MASSA, though I do have images of women with cat/fox/etc ears (which I don't consider that alone to make them a furry) in MASSA.

MASSA is not compatible with the current version of Stellaris and I am still working on updating it. Of course I would have Jury duty starting next week.... so that's a thing.

Well, off the topic, what does the word 'furry' mean in the forum?

I know it's meaning in the dictionary, but it seems that there are some interesting extended meaning. I live in an fairly ... isolated nation where having sex in a doll is not a trend.

So I wonder does 'furry' mentioned in this forum mean fictional sentient human-sized beings with natural fur, or dudes wearing cartoon character costumes? They seem to be very different things.

furry covers a whole bunch of different things ranging from people who like a bit more fur on their catgirls (furry forearms and shins), to anthrofied animals (full body covering of fur/scales/feathers, humanoid body and breasts), to the full on Fursona-Fursuit people.

The mod is not incompatible with certain mods for Stellaris 2.2.

The mod is not compatible with Stellaris 2.2 yet alone Stellaris test version aka. 2.3.

For this mod to fully work you'd need to downgrade Stellaris to 2.1 or wait for a mod update.
