Well - To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure why anyone would purge the pop. Having two species isn't a bad way to play - and if it was spawned by the civic that you chose, I don't see why anyone would be that dumb. As it stands though, the blocker gives no incentive to keep it. It doesn't give adjacency bonuses, and it eats a space that could be producing things if it had a pop on it. Even with the event, I'd far prefer to have the pop. Just my two cents. ?

Seeing an event chain for the tentacle lifeforms, or maybe that plus a separate one for plant-based tentacles, maybe even one for the slugs, would be great too. Personally though I'd like to have some tangible way to interact with these lifeforms. At least running into the mow and then, or having the ability to spawn them / create them as a co-species would be nice.

I think the Temple of Love comes from MSSA ?

This building cannot be built before the Autochthon Monument. If you build the Monument on a colony, the Temple disappear from the Building list.

To have both the Temple and the Monument, you have to wait, do the Temple and only then build the Monument.

That means something is either wrong with you browser or your eyes.

The github is deleted, though.

It has been for quite a while now.

Most likely due to low usage.

The mod author also mentioned that a bunch of his other events got broken by the update. I don't know which events those would be, so I couldn't attempt to fix them. So far in my test play-through, nothing seems wrong so far and the anomalies fire correctly. Some things weren't finished by the author and remain unfinished, e.g. the tentacle start civic, and my one play-through was not a replacement for extensive tests. This file is literally just a refactor of the 2 anomaly files into the new single file format for 2.1. Use at your own risk.

I have been using and enjoying this mod for a while.  I finally got around to researching 'Pleasure District' aka red light district and while it showed up (gray) I looked at the requirements and it says I need planetary administration and prostitution allowed.  I have industrialized prostitution and planetary administration both.  I notice the post that noted the 'OR' should be 'NOR', and when I tried it the building disappeared from my build list completely.

 

I am attempting various fixes.  Will update with results.

 

Edit: I forgot that I was researching it with my last save so I'll wait a bit then see if the NOR code worked.

 

Final Edit (for this post)  the NOR code allowed the system to work.  So my Militant, Xenophile, Materialist Empire (They only expand into your empire if you attack them), can set aside an area for pleasures of all types.

I have the Interstellar Exchange firing even if i have not met any aliens... and even then, it appears all the time. Every 6 months or so.
The only others events i saw were Unit Recreational Parties, Science Gone Wrong (only the first window that is shown on this mod page, i don't know if there is a follow up event) and the one when you conquer a planet and some of your troups rape the locals.

 

I guess MSSA is a bit broken at the moment. Too bad. :(

just a heads up someone placed this mod in steam workshop again, account name wilde_dubai. just just letting you know, hate how people keep stealing mods from others.

I'm pretty sure that's another accident. There is a button on steam that allow players to upload all their mods  to workshop instantly, and many people in this forum have pressed it without knowing what would happen.

I don't like this feature, really. If the species in Stellaris were all like those in Mass Effect which are well designed and look gorgeous , it would be fine. But consider those space cockroach and mantis in Stellaris...

there is mod meant suppress vanilla species, and encourage modded races spawning. Besides with the new strata system in 2.2 you can put those Cockroaches at the bottom were they belong. You can also purge them if you xenophobic. Also i believe that in 2.2 you can sell slave pops so capture them and sell them.

As much as I would LOVE to take your money I don't feel that I've been active enough to set up a pateron or anything.

 

On that note I did just upload a new version of MASSA, so that's a thing. Should fix some of the bugs but I haven't had the chance to do exhaustive testing or anything, so let me know what pops up now and I'll try and fix it quickly.

Hi darkspleen, thank you for the update. I started a new game with the tentacle civic and noticed that the popup screens for the tentacles don't have any content. At the start of the game it just say tentacle start event or something like that. Then later on there was popup with a girl with some consentacle tentacles with no text in the box.

Just as an experiment. I turned off all mods except for MASA and started a new game with the Tentacle Symbiosis ethic pick. I still got the start pop up (where it says BEGIN! at the bottom) with only "START_SCREEN_TENTACLED_SYMBIOSIS" displayed.

An update ? Time to begin anew my draenei run and to be lusted after by the entire galaxy.

 

I hope this time the events are more varied than in my last one.
