I'm not sure whether to clean save or not now. yeah it was a bit risky but so far has worked fine. to do a clean save would not take much effort, just the actual running of a save game cleaning tool in between steps 9 and 10. i just cut that part out due to laziness (did not feel like running the tool at the time - i wanted to finish that dang quest i was on)

Like the follower commenting on the PC looks (or the looks of other NPCs), or how they would like to have sex with the player, or threatening to rape PC if they don't take care of their arousal. There is nothing said about that in the mod description so I guess it is not implemented. If some mod already does that, clearly it's not needed. But I don't know any.

People ask for it, people expect it, but it's very cumbersome to adjust it to get what you want out of it, and it simply can't deliver complex or interesting scenarios. The only choices I ever use are the equivalent of NEVER, RARELY, and LOTS. DD is trying to edge away from keys as a core mechanic anyway. As for the key-holder feature, it's had a lot of problems, often leaving players with no recourse but FREE ME!!!, because it stole a quest (restraint) key. Please, don't go down that particular path. I've never used keyholder, and will never use it, because it's a mass of problematic unforeseen consequences. I see a strong case for fixing the "exploit" where you give the follower keys to look after, so they can't be stolen... But followers don't need to hand out keys, followers already remove items directly. Why would you want keys? IMHO, followers just need a way to remove rare key items for a much higher price - and perhaps only in restricted locations, such as inns. Look, check out how I've added so the follow gives out keys in the latest version and you'll see how awesome the feature is ^^. Why it's needed people want a way to remove devices when they have a Block Generic/Quest item on and I'm not gonna make so the follower touchs devices when that happens so the key game is the answer for that. I recently found the reasons why it didn't work and explained them to kimy, in 6.4 she fixed the function for normal keys the fix for rare key will be out in 7.0. 2

We've been haunting the Winking Skeever for over 2 days now, rented and re-rented a room for us, follower is too tired to tell me how much debt is owed but she will not sleep/rest no matter what I do. She stands at the foot of the bed staring at me when I sleep, she hasn't moved when I wake up. The only noticeable reaction I got was by sitting in the room chair next to the bed and eating something made the follower wander off downstairs to sit at a table and listen to the bard, but no sleep. I've gone thru all the dialog choices thinking there was something I missed but the only choices are for fucking or for tying me up... neither activity being particularly restful ?
Lozeak Posted May 24, 2018 Author Posted May 24, 2018 You need to rest for 6 hours at least, maybe you can't exit the sleep menu (you probably can). If it isn't working it's likly a bug. If you change the live value in the MCM it will reset they lives anyway try that if the sleeping isn't working.

Tried an 8- and then a 10-hr stretch but the follower didn't care It could just be some small leftover glitch from the updating process, probably need to remove and cleansave to try it again, I'll get to that later today and see how it goes

Thanks for your help, but the game then crashed after showing the main screen (though Mod Organizer gives no missing Dawnguard.esp warning). Tried both replacing the .esp in the mod aswell as adding it as a seperate mod. Anything I'm missing (except dawnguard :-D)?

Followers talk a lot more in specific places like player homes and draugr tombs/dwemer ruins. The draugr ones are especially relevant to Devious Followers because they will warn the player to make sure to share the loot properly or they'll chain them to a wall for the undead to play with ect. Also, if you are using some of the fancier custom followers they may not be recognized by Sexist Guards (In my game Zora from Interesting NPCs uses Sexist Guards dialogue, but M'rissi doesn't). I think whether or not they are considered housecarls changes dialogue as well, I seem to recall actual mercenary followers were more likely to have "pay me or I'll do nasty things to you" dialogue than a follower sworn to carry your burdens.

Make sure you are *not* installing the "Devious World" mod - that is a experimental .esp without much content yet, and requires a lot more masters like Heretical Resources/ZEP ect.

Tried an 8- and then a 10-hr stretch but the follower didn't care It could just be some small leftover glitch from the updating process, probably need to remove and cleansave to try it again, I'll get to that later today and see how it goes before you go to the trouble of clean save updating (if you haven't yet) you might want to try the reset mod button (on debug page). that button has fixed minor errors for me in the past. no clue if it will fix your error or not, but it might and would save you having to do the clean save routine. i usually make sure i know what Willpower and Resist stats are at first and put them back in console if i use the reset mod button.

The follower mentions it in a proper comment line most of the time too, so it feels especially redundant because of that. I'd like to not have a pretty much unmissable notification about it, I like when I have to pay attention to it on my own and go to the follower to ask what my current debt is. If possible I'd use an option to disable both the topleft notification and the follower comment about it ("don't forget my share, hun" or stg like that), but I'd like to at least disable the topleft notification, and I couldn't find an option for that. (I suppose I could (try to) edit the scripts, but a proper toggle option would be much preferred, especially with how much (great) version updates there are. :P)

You are correct, 1.43 adds a message box based game lol so yea no additional requirements needed ^^

Once this mod needs them i won't resist to install them i think P.S.: The new key gambling game is superb. I guess i turn off key finding via DCL completely.
