Technically, probably not.

Realistically, safest to have em all.
Various reasons, some of which is from alterations/additions/fixes from DLC, some will be from maintaining versions for DLC vs Non-DLC, as is the case with maaany mods.

For what they add, the 'workshop' DLC's aren't really worthwhile bar on a sale, but for simplicity's sake especially with more sizeable/complicated mods, the piece of mind is worth it, at least to me.

Does one need to buy all the DLC by themselves? or does the season pass suffice? Bundled with the other 'big' dlc's the workshops are a much easier buy.

No idea, actually.
Presumably the Season Pass just gives you all the DLC's as well, as the files won't be different, so shouldn't make a difference whether you go with the season pass or individually.

Season Pass is the exact same files. Just cheaper. LOL

the textures for the latex restraint dresses dont work so im just a floating head is there anything i can do?

That's not textures, that's because DD doesn't ship with pre-built meshes. Need to build em in BodySlide first.

Okay, so the description says that you can build these items in the Restraint Workbench which you make in the Workshop menu, where on earth is it? I've looked in crafting, furniture, mod folders, every misc one I could find, structures, can't find it anywhere, any advice?

(Note, I do have Armor and Weapon Keywords Community Resource also installed, that might be making it not appear, no idea though, I'm new to this xD )

The icon takes a bit to load, which is why it's kinda 'hidden'.

Raider > Slavery [or Raider > Misc > Slavery, I forget. It's one of three choices].

Thanks for the previous help, been using the mod and it's a looot of fun. But there have been a few repeated "bugs" I've been having that I wanted to ask about. (in quotes as might jsut be limitations of the mod rather than bugs on my end, if so no worries.)

1) The mod is very particular about who wears the outfits. No character named "Settler" will equip any of them at all, and while companions will equip them, they will revert to their default outfit in time, normally after fast travelling. Only ones I've had any luck with are named NPCs who are not companions (like Marcy.).

2) For some reason, putting both wrist and ankle cuffs on an NPC at once cancels out the animation change of one or the other, causing some verrry odd animations to occur xD

3) Putting a gag on any character not travelling with you (Including companions based in a settlement) essentially breaks that character permanently, as talking to them does not bring up dialogue or the ability to trade and remove the gag or other items.

4) There are several items in the set that do not work, either not having an equip option (certain latex/leather outfits), pixelating or clipping like mad (catsuits, nipple clamps and the iron set are worst for this) or making the character invisible except for head (again some latex/leather items).

Sorry for the massive wall of text, but I love this mod, and want to get as much use out of it as possible, so thanks in advance :D

For issues with NPC's, that's mostly 'cause DD/DCW is player-centric, and unreliable with NPC's, particularly since it was written quite some time ago, and didn't want to rely on something like F4SE at the time.
Now? It could do it fine, to a degree, if it were written for it.

#3 doesn't break them. There's a short window after the 'gagged' dialogue plays out, in which you can interact with em and it'll skip to normal dialogue, or open the console, select em, and use 'openactorcontainer 1'.

#4 invisible shit is from not having built em in bodyslide, and/or the reference thing Mashup refers to.

You're trying the restraints key, not the chastity key, right?

never mind im retarded i needed slave collar key. they really should be sold by the merchant in goodneighbor though.

I've not seen a "slave collar key" before. Are you sure that's provided by DD and not some other mod you've got loaded alongside it?

This sounds like you are talking about the DCW slave collar. It's supposed to have a really hard to obtain key. If you don't like it, you can disable it spawning.
