There's a mod for that. LOL

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18088

I modded it as soon as it was released. LOL

So i have downlaoded the file and draged it into vortex and it installed it. Without using 7-zip to unpacked it. It was insalled and I had the bodyslide files. Also it is important to note that the 1.9 was installed not by Vortex but manualy and it is working fine. I am now reinstalling everything to make it work. Any suggestions?

If you're wearing a corset, any damage taken will cause you to surrender. Which is stupid. Should only be when wearing restraints that prevent combat.

It wall also happen if damage it taken and then later (after a fight) removing another item like leg cuffs.

Just one.

Start a new game and make sure everything is working. Saves a LOT of headaches to debug on a clean save.

To top this all up there are only a couple of CBBE presets and non of mine. Is it supposed to be like that?

Nope it doesn't work for me. Here is how this looks for me. I tried everything. I have all the DLC for the armor smith extended and I have everything installed. Any suggestions?

image.thumb.png.41d11afae6605920f3cbec7d488f9305.pngAlso this: No 2.0.7z. Exuse me. Aslo the Devices 2.0.7z is a 7z File not an archive. Like 1.9 Devices which was Rar. Is this a problem? Vortex installed it anyway btw. P.S i just realised it asks for ALL THE DLC AND IT MEANS ALL OF THEM? I don't have all of them installed maybe that is the reason!

7z is an archive, just like rar, zip, tar, wim etc.

And yes you need all the DLC's.

I'm in deep waters here, I want to make cross cybernetics lockable/pemanent.

I've figured out the bits to make it locked etc. but when I go to mod it in the amour workshop, I get the modifications up, but I can't figure out if, and if so, how, I can transfer those changes to the render object.

Does DD have a facility for that already, or do I have to script something myself specific to handle it, or is it even possible with DD's design?

Hey there, this mod is awesome!
Got only one tiny question here:  How to take off the armbinder from our character? Can't use the Pipboy with arms bound.

I'd have to go digging again, but DD uses two items/objects, one an Inventory 'dummy', the other, the actual rendered and worn object.

Using the inventory item activates a script if I had to guess, which calls the equip/unequip 'quest', which then alters the rendered/worn object.

As for the Workshop alterations, DD only has colour changes if I recall correctly, and only three of them.
Would need to poke it in xEdit again, but I think it applies an OMOD/ARMO to the COBJ/ARMA which applies a colour-swap keyword.
Again, take that with a pinch of salt, it's been a while since I looked in xEdit, but that's the basics of how it works, from what I've seen.

If you're in the vault still, follow the quest line.

If you're in the Commonwealth, you can still use the pipboy, you just can't do shit except attempt to remove hand-restraints, if there are some equipped.
If you're using a 'no-pause' mod, to disable pausing in things like the Pipboy/Terminals, you'll run into issues, as DD needs to be able to use that pause for the 'quest' to apply/remove restraints.

After unlocking a device should the respective key be removed from your inventory after use?

If it is how can I make this happen?

in console type: player.openactorcontainer 1

In the right inventory panel find the armbinder and use the equip key (default T) like you would on a companion.

To reequip the pipboy type: player.equipitem 21b3b

I did it once by using FO4Edit. I just copied all the records of one of the devices (in this case a collar and a butt plug) to the item that I wanted to be able to lock.

By default it isn't, but the function is available in the script files. You would need to recompile them tho

@NXTtrain Yeah, I made that script change already :P

It's a one-line script change.
I did it for someone in the DCW topic.

You can grab it from in DCW here, and replace the existing script of the same name in your DD install.

While I haven't tested it myself, it's a tiny change, and should function just fine, but let me know one way or another.

Haha thanks, didnt see the reply until I found the file in DCW. Although nothing appears to have changed, key is still not removed after unlocking a device. Any ideas?

It might require a new save to take effect, I'm not too sure.

Hence the 'haven't tested it' part :P
It could be because it's not being called from something like DCW.

Edit: Could also require removing and reequipping DD items, or replacing the currently equipped ones entirely.

Ah okay yeah, might well require a new save to take effect or be overwritten by a DCW file.  I didn't have any DD item equipped at the time so shouldn't be the latter. Cheers anyway pal.

I think I've come to a solution for my issue, I'll write a script that transfers the mods from the inventory object to the render object.

since the alterations are made to the inventory object that is.

Im kind of curious on the "how to use" aspect of it...

I get kidnapped day 1 out of the vault.  I get plugged and corseted.

The only way to unlock- is from good-neighbor right(kimy)?

So until I finally reach neighborhood im stuck in permanent orgasm mode?

Is there a menu, Im used to sky-rim/MCM.   I have the MCM for fallout, but are there settings that can be be changed like remove difficulty, time things stay in, etc?

how do i reach said menu?

Yeah, Kimy's more focused on Skyrim it would seem, which is a shame. Quite a few of the DD-related features from the Skyrim version would be quite welcome in the Commonwealth.
Ah well.

That said, I assume from what you said, that you went and got Deviously Cursed Wasteland [DCW] as well, or you wouldn't be in restraints from waking in cryo.

You'll want Deviously Cursed Menu, which basically adds MCM options for DD/DCW's settings so you can easily change them.
You'll probably also want the reference mesh fix from a couple pages back, which solves a few of the items having an unnecessary reference body.

That aside, if you've started up DD/DCW on a new save and have the 'Belted!' quest on [think it is by default, you wake up with a bunch of items equipped. You'll know if it's enabled], then you follow that quest to get stuff removed.
Also, there's not really a 'time things stay in', as such, more of a 'locked in for X in-game hours on equip', and you've one attempt/in-game hour, to remove items using one of the [three? four?] ways. [One attempt per way, per hour]

Don't forget to use the DCW topic for DCW-related stuff in future, and enjoy the bondage ;)

Hi folks,

Having a bit of an issue and hoping someone might point me in the right direction for a solution.

First off, love this mod. Kudos, Kimy.

Only one small thing, however... reading through here I see that some other folks have had/are having the same issue. MegaGryphon basically reported the same: For certain items bought from Kimy in Goodneighbor (e.g. bikini dress, latex mini, fishnets) there is apparently no option for equipping them to NPCs. The 'T' button no longer appears in the menu and seems to be limited to only a certain number of outfits (4 so far).

Did anyone ever work out what was causing this? MegaGryphon, any ideas?

Full disclosure: I'm fairly new at this - barely tech literate (probably worse) - so if I am being dumb please forgive me. That said, I read everything I'm told to, I installed the requisite dependencies and this is a clean save as far as I know (recently reinstalled the game and all mods after the last vortex update didn't agree with me) so it's all new, all fresh; nothing's been haphazardly updated.

Tried the suggestions posted earlier - reinstalling, de-activating followed by new save then reactivating - no joy. Still no 'T' equip button, still nothing to show for the 1600 odd caps I just spent at the Memory Den -_-

Starting to drive me a little nuts. Any suggestions or insights appreciated.

Cheers.
