I suppose I'll have to try that then. Modding can be such a pain sometimes, but without the challenge it wouldn't be worth doing.

The expectation of moddig is itself a modding? ?

why?

Has this new update done away with the physics of clothes and wigs?

Some mod should allow a Physics subtopic of some sort.

Reading 77 pages to find hairs and stuff is just too unproductive.

100% false from beginning to end.

  • SMP development has not stopped- Sister Hydrogen has said he's done but will release the source code for others to perfect his work
  • Whether develpment had stopped or not all of us in this thread have it, are using it and need to learn how to make xml's for it
  • CBP Physics does not provide anything except "BBP" body physics and is therefore not a replacement for HDT-SMP

Why would you post garbage like this?

Perhaps it would be beneficial if the first post of this thread addresses all of the drama of HDT over the last month or so to clarify the current state of SMP. I think that might greatly reduce redundant and ill-informed posts that we are seeing. Yes, it would be great if everyone read previous posts, however it's also unrealistic to expect each person to patiently wade through 78 pages of posts that may or may not be relevant to the information they're searching for.

I remember making a post a loooooooong time ago stating that we should start to treat this thread as the official HDT thread complete with an informative starting post that gave all of the crucial information, complete with links to the latest version of SMP, the framwork, High-heels, as well as xml bouncy presents that someone starting out would be looking for.

Just a thought.

why are you mad because im right? :) development has stopped and noone will pick it up, it hasnt been picked up before or there werent any alternatives because noone bothers with that complex stuff. only hydrogen did, who now stopped. skyrim moddings prime time is already over so noone will pick up hdt for a game thats time is over anyway. get over it and move on.

Actually, i really love the physic from HDT in my game (HDT PE in Skyrim LE is a must have), but with this installed, my modded Skyrim SE become very unplayable.. FPS slow down to 15/20 in random circumstances (especially when there are many NPCs in the same area), and this happens very often unfortunately.

Now, I'm a mature player, and with age, I became very lazy?... in a normal playthrough, keep quicksave and quickload to reset HDT fps drop, is quite frustrating (bearing in mind that I have an high-end RIG.. Intel i7 Exteme, GeForce1080ti 12GB, 64GB RAM, SSD, PC Master Race and bla bla bla...fuuuuu?...)

so currently, have decided to come back to CBP (no collision, just bOObs bOing-bOing!), and my FPS is stable on 60 now..

I really hope the performance problems will be solved in the future, because for now I have put aside the idea of having HDT physics in my game (reluctantly).

I, too, would be delighted to find a guide or tutorial to converting (or just writing) HDT-SMP-SE xml's for SSE when the original Oldrim mod has HDT-PE xml's. I found a YouTube "how-to" video but can't learn from it due to my inability to follow the choppy "helter-skelter" narration and use of not-words. I would love to find a written step-by-step so I'm not sidetracked by strange pronunciations and mumbling.

I could need this, too. Along with some assistance with reworking all the heretic stuff in DD. And someone who makes an actual version of HDT accessible for the masses. So I can get DD for SE out of Beta.

Development has stopped, but last update was less than a week ago.

Only bug fixes, updates for new skse, and adding non-wig hair is needed.

When the source is released, which is confirmed will happen, someone can pick up development. Maybe I will, depending on how long from now the source is released.

If the game is over, why do you even post in this thread?

I have I7 6700K@4.6GHz, 16GB DDR4 3000MHz RAM, GTX 1070 8GB OC, latest Windows 10, latest SKSE Skyrim and all mods up-to-date, and even with ENB I have 60fps all the time, only one place when it dips to around 50fps is Markarth, when I was using Resahde it also reduced my fps by 8-10, now I only use ENB which has (custom) SMAA and Sharpen like Reshade too, so no need to use Reshade anymore and all is good ;)

I have to agree.  A lot can change in half a year and nothing is really confirmed until that time comes.  The golden age of Skyrim is long over, and the chances of there being somebody equally technically competent as Hydrogen 6 months from now are slim to none.  It's a hard pill to swallow, but people should keep their expectations EXTREMELY low.

Torak's teeth and nails and hells-fucking-bells. I don't even run SE but I wish all you doom-mongers would just fuck off back under whatever rock you crawled out from. There are lots of talented people around here who are determined to move this forward and I for one have the utmost admiration for them and wish them all the best.

Of course it's your choice not to fix your installation and restore your fps by uninstalling mods. I don't want to play without my hair, earrings, amulets and (some) clothes physics, so instead of giving up when HDT-SMP plus my new ENB gave me a 20-25 fps hit, I did two things:

  1. Went through my UUNP.xml and changed the per-vertex declarations to per-triangle (or the other way 'round, I forgot now)
  2. Installed the astonishingly-useful BethINI mod. Since it has a "revert" feature, I just let it install "the configurations it wanted to install"

Between these two initiatives I gained back ALMOST ALL of my lost framerate, now running 50fps average with full PC and NPC physics going on all around me.

The Quicksave >> Quickload is a fast way of dealing with the very rare instances where my hair gets stuck- it only happens once every two or three play sessions, which for me means once every 15 hours or so because I tend to play SSE for about 5 hours an evening.

The primary advantage of CBP is that it is a turnkey mod- install and forget. That user-friendliness is very much to polygonhell's credit. However, CBP has nowhere near the functionality of SMP- not even close.

Hey guys! New to this thread... I was looking for some help setting up collisions... More specifically creature penis collisions. I've tried everything, but I couldn't get those working. I'm pretty sure everything in my HDT SMP build is installed properly, as I get bounce on both CBBE and UNP bodies and collision between hands/gauntlets/SOS Schlong and breasts/butt/vagina. I'm using SLAL MoreNastyCritters v11.3, on a Mod Organizer build.

Here's what I tried already:

     -     Using the penis.xml provided by CBBE's premade .xmls

     -     Changing the penis' NiNode name to Gauntlets (which I got collisions working with

     -     Converting the whole All-In-One HDT SMP Setup's and MoreNastyCritters v9's esps and meshes to work with SE. The conversions did work, but the collisions didn't

     -     Copying the same bone structure used by SOS' schlongs to the creatures' penises

I'm losing my ming right now... Does anyone have any clue about it, or are creature penis collisions just not ripe for SE yet? I could also provide a load order if you guys need it. I've been trying to get these working for a few months now, and well, that's just too much time wasted on getting weenies pushing vajayjays.

Hi , I did some digging a while ago about this:

I tried to figure out why there is no collision with creatures. I think I may have made some progress. Did some testing and was actually able to get collision from creature - pc. I have attached the SheperdHard.nif from HentaiCreatures which is actually working in my game by linking to the attached Dog.xml. Haven't tested by removing the NiStringExtraData link in the .nif file, but should probably work too. Tried several other creatures too, but no luck. Then I realised that the ShepardHard.nif  BStrishape Dog, actually was a BSDismemberSkinInstance while other creatures BStrishapes were NiskinInstance. So I tried to convert the attached  dogHard.nif from MoreNastyCritters from NiSkinInstance to BSDismemberSkinInstance , and I actually got collision from the Dog shape with my pc. Only problem is the BSTriShape Dog is invisible in game. Anyone know how to fix this?

EDIT: Think I figured out how to make the body visible. Had to add partitions in BSDismemberSkinInstance and set this to SBP_32_Body. Now I have collision with the dog body.

EDIT: Converted the penis mesh using same method , and voila! I have collision from both penis and dog body with the female body. Attached the new edited DogHard.nif

Some more digging led to getting the dog, shepard, werewolf, werebear and demon (from hentaicreatures) have collisions. So This leads me to believe that there are still limitations in the HDT-SMP SSE version that are not in the HDT-PE version. Also seems that the collisions work depending on the type of skeleton. Defined as NPC?

I'm using SOS full (for males) and CBBE SE Special (for females), with the Caliente HDT-SMP .xml config files from Nexus .. and the latest XPMSSE.. all the armor/clothes is made for physics.

obviously all through MO2..

for now I do not use ENB, or modified .ini, just for lazyness ? (but, after your tip, I will look into bethini asap).

So, HDT-SMP FPS problems-->only in densely populated areas (major and minor cities, and some dungeons) and not always (this is what puzzles me) I have a FPS drop that make my game unplayable for my standards.

..can it be something related to CBBE xml files?

I'm not using HDT right now, but the different comments on performance issues sound to me like it is not a HDT-SMP thing but a problem with the different mods using it in combiation with rest of the mods that are in the different load orders. My guess is that there is a lot of stuff around that still needs some tweaking for SE.

I'll second BethIni. I've been using it for quite a while with LE.
