> I do not know why I do not listen to myself. I already know that movies that were advertised by "From the creator or from the director of ..." lines are shit, and I still watch them. My luvs had a feeling that the "Long Walk" movie would be a disaster, and they didn't watch it with me, so I watched it with Malicija and Silvano. He and I were disappointed in it, while Malicija liked it. Still, the movie is a failure.

For males in general: the terms "incel" (involuntary celibate) or "wizard" (older male virgin) are more considered as insults, unlike slut.

According to my wife, "a slut is a woman who is having more fun than you are."

When the pie is big, everyone is willing to share.  When the pie is small, everyone wants their own share.

Context:  It is easy to be generous when we have plenty to give, easy to understand others when you yourself are still growing in understanding.  However, once things become tight, then those that are still giving are seen as being "taken advantage of" or "being walked over" or (my favorite) "enabling bad behavior".  Same with understanding, when I was young and the whole world was new and yet undefined in my mind, I would treat "others" as interesting and worthwhile of my attention.  Now that I am older, I am in a rare position where understanding others, seeing the world through their eyes, translates to me doing a better job, but........it is harder, and many times I am left with "why the f are they doing that when they have so much to be thankful for".

So, I wouldn't say this is a bad response to you, just modifying it a bit.   I have to stop my initial desire to reply to some people on here who I consider friends, when they complain how their life is so hard.  I don't because their experiences aren't mine, and I don't know their choices that led them to this point in their life.

oh, yes i understand that 100% none of my feelings or thoughts on what i said was in the direction of people such as yourself. I agree with you, its also very hard for me to help as well. I just wish it was easier to help so that people wouldnt be jaded in any way and helping was easier for all.

I agree with your statement.

Unlike me, my luvs slept like babies, uncovered and only in underwear. Damn, I so envy them. My Fran would say that it only proves they are rough barbarians and that I am a true princess.

I would avoid greeting them by pretending I was speaking on the phone or I turned my sight to the other side. Thanks to my Prince, I changed, and I am not what I used to be.

I guess that is a matter of perspective.   The world never seems satisfied with the status quo and is always seeking to upend the old ways with the new ways.   Of course, most of my "wisdom" comes from 80s era music, which is the pinnacle of music :).

In case the video doesn't play, I am referencing the song lyric that states that "You can get just so much from a good thing, you can linger too long in a dream, say good bye to the oldies but goodies, because the good old days weren't always good and tomorrow ain't as bad as it seems"

Why do people engorge themselves during November?

People or Americans? Can't think of any eating associated with November apart from treacle toffee and toffee-apples on Guy Fawkes Night.

Good point. I'd say Americans. I don't know enough about the United Kingdom to know their eating habits.

If the South Park creators become anti-AI then I'm gonna call them out on their hypocrisy for the 'They Tuk'r Jurbs' skit.

You thought it was funny then, so swallow it now. :P

ps: I am vehemently against generative AI and this is just satire.
