It depends. On one hand the obese men on Twitter have no right to judge anyone's weight. On the other hand the grammar on this statement feels off to me.

Could just be a simple typo throwing the grammar off. Spell-checker wouldn't flag it as 'woman' is spelled correctly.

Only slightly related to the topic but some Hispanic dudes in my class told me last quarter, "If she ain't 180, she ain't a lady." They weren't being literal of course, and it gave me a chuckle. There's definitely a cultural aspect to this.

Not Hispanic, but I personally am down with the thiccness.

If the Universe is truly infinite, then there are a bunch of copies of our planet: Somewhere right now, the same events are happening, a copy of me is writing a copy of this text... If the Universe is truly infinite, then a copy of you is reading what I've written—that is, not by me, but by my copy, of course... but only if the Universe is infinite, of course.

but if the universe is infinite, then besides the copy of us and our planet, somewhere there are worlds that are different, but it is possible that they are copies of us, only all these events were not repeated with them, the copy of me did not write a copy of this text, and the copy of you did not read a copy of this text... perhaps life for our copies turned out differently, perhaps they are even happier, they would probably even look a little different, but all this did not happen to us, but to copies...

Skyrim was giving me a fit yesterday thanks to some bad updates or regressions from Community Shaders, Reshade and Engine Fixes.  Just one CTD after another.  Had to take a break before being tempted to purge the entire game from my laptop.  Thankfully, I was able to fix it by downgrading, the next day.

You are misunderstanding infinity.

Tell me, what does infinity mean? Doesn't it mean that anything is possible within the bounds of an infinite universe? Simply put, there are no limits to anything.

No.

No. It means there are no bounds to the thing (e.g. the universe). An infinite universe could have only one planet. It has nothing to do with repetition.

since there are no boundaries, there are no conventions or restrictions.😅

because, as far as I know, the term “infinite universe” also includes the concept of a multiverse, which in turn directly indicates the possibility of the existence of other universes that are unique and unlike anything else, and can be repeated completely. or vice versa)))😊😂

In any case, my worldview is clearly more fun, since everything is possible.🤣

You understand that this is closer to a poetic flight of fancy, and not the ultimate truth, a play on words?!))))

> It's 100% true. My Prince is an awesome man, always there for us, our children, our family, our friends, our workers, and the people. Sometimes he simply gets tired and feels drained. My Ivy and I are always there for him so he can lay his burdens and his head on us.

Undir dimmum himnum rennr þú, kaldan straumr. Sál mín leitar vega, yfir skugga Heljar. Draugar fylgja spor mín, hugr minn dofnar hér. Gjöll, þú syngvar dauðans, kallar nafnið mitt. Í djúpu myrkri Niflheims þar sem stjörnurnar deyja, liggr örlög mín í straumi þínum. Gjöll — leið mér heim, yfir brúna gullna. Gjöll — tak sál mína, inn í fold Heljar. Gjöll — mitt síðasta orð, kallast þitt nafn.

That quote is a mangling of Heraclitus:

“No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man.” There are various translations but I've never seen one that mentions time or enjoying every moment. The words are about change - Heraclitus is known for his theory of Flux ('change is the only constant'). Related to this is the theory of 'the eternal present' (or now) which may be where the enjoy life part is coming from.

Sadly we only have fragments of Heraclitus' works.

If I had super powers, I'd definitely be a villain. Not even like an A-tier villain, either. I wouldn't have schemes or have a hand in masterminding evil plots. I probably wouldn't even have a nemesis. I'd just be a massive asshole with super powers. I wouldn't actively try to hurt anyone that didn't deserve it. But I also wouldn't save people. I don't think I could handle people turning on me or trying to start shit with me the way comic book heroes do. Like that Superman movie that just came out. I'd have just killed Luthor. Fuck him, he took my dog.

I think this is true for most people. Sure, if you ask they'd probably say they'd use their powers for good, but the second shit doesn't go their way there's gonna be a massacre. Like a toddler throwing a cataclysmic tantrum.

The latest AI thing to rustle people's jimmies, AI "actor" Tilly Norwood. I agree with a statement attributed to its creator, who said something like "Tilly Norwood is not an actor but a piece of art." We could argue all day long about whether or not its art (and how good it is as a piece of art), but, yeah, Tilly Norwood is no more an actor than Mickey Mouse is.
