That first image would be more accurate if those kids were glued to their smartphones while trying to eat dinner.

When they said

No kings

they really meant it

The U.S. justice system always was quick and brutal with no room for nonsense but that never stopped people before. I've seen video footage of politicians in court praying and bowing like they are doing a summoning ritual to summon Elmo or something. This is where your tax dollars are going people.

I will give that judge kudos for what it's worth for being in the Halloween spirit.

Otters aren't pets they are wild animals. They are also as vicious as hell like all mustelids.

It doesn't get any better when you zoom in. All those banners with a flag and number are armies and move about. Trying to sort out friend, foe and neutral during any sort of internal war is a pain.

Why do I have to use workarounds, such as logging in my PC as an Administrator, to use certain optimization tools for Skyrim on Windows 11?  I had no such issues with Windows 10.  Doesn't make any sense.  I wish I could go back.

I am not a fan of winter, and I would rather stay in the warm home, but I "sacrifice" because of my luvs and the children for whom I would lay my life.

I'm curious. Which tools require Administrator access? My computer can't even run Windows 11 so I don't have a clue.

I use VRAMr: a tool for optimizing textures in Skyrim.  And it seems that Windows Security in Windows 11, along with my PC username not being a single word, is somehow blocking file access while causing VRAMr to crash.  VRAMr also uses a .bat file instead of an .exe file; attempting to run it as an administrator just won't work.

I tried excluding files and file paths in Windows Security, but that didn't help either.  Only when I logged on my laptop as an Administrator was when VRAMr started working again, as it should.  Funny enough, I had no trouble running it straight out of the box on Windows 10 without any admin privileges.

I swear, if I keep running into anymore issues like this while trying to keep Skyrim modded and updated, I'm taking another hiatus.

I don't think I use that tool but then again it has been awhile since I last played Skyrim. I am sorry you are having such a rough time with it.

Beyond installation of a program, you shouldn't need PC administration privileges.

Check the status of your UAC settings and make sure it isn't so sensitive.

Using programs that require admin after installation is a major risk. Not recommended on any machine that has sensitive data.

My PC is password protected and my UAC settings are the same as before.  The tool itself is also safe to use.  I would have discovered something malicious by now if it wasn't.  I believe there's something in Windows 11's extra features that's setting it off.

I have this bad habit of shitting on society but I want people to be happy. I even want shitty people like Andrew Tate to be happy. Maybe even find a man that will love him the way women never did.

I don't know what is wrong with me. Maybe it is the holiday air that is making me sentimental.

I believe, based on my experience on a couple of Windows 11 machines, the UAC and it's system is more sensitive. There are more parts of the computer that is protected. The firewall is more robust as well. Any of these can be causing the trouble. (Assuming this program is valid and you are using the Widows 11 version etc.)

If your UAC is mid to higher in the settings, try lowering it.

You can also try to turn off firewall for a brief time to see if it is trying to call out and being blocked.

You can try to turn off antivirus (briefly, suggest after a fresh reboot) and see if it works.

I assume this Windows 11 computer came with Windows 11 and not upgraded from Windows 10. (mention this as some programs miss some features if not an upgrade. Sad to say, but a week ago someone I know experienced this event and had to reinstall Windows 10 just to be able to go through the upgrade as the component that that program needed wasn't present in Windows 11.  Rare, and in this instance it was a known bug that the company was working on. (If I recall correctly, it was a Razer device. All be it an older one. )

Hopes this helps. I don't use that program so I can't help much more.
