All tests done on minimal setup with Sancrosanct as vampire mod, vampirism forced with potion of embracing. Here are my findings about Yiffy Age vampires: Races that get double fangs: - Argonian Male - Argonian Female - Khajiit Male Races that crash game upon vampirism: - Dark Elf Male - Dremora Male Do note that Khajiit Female did not get double fangs @Taven so something else than YA is at fault there. Blaze69 Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 The "double fangs" issue could be due to wrong head part order for the vampire race data. The idea is that vampire transformation works by "overlaying" its head part list over the original race's one (this is a literal option in the CK alongside "override head part list"). The vampire race only includes three head part entries: the head (same as the original race, though it could be different), the (vampire) eyes, and the mouth (again, same as original, but could be different). So when the list is overlaid, the vampire eyes replace the original ones, and so do the head and mouth, but the change isn't noticeable because those two are the same as the originals so it looks like only the eyes change; fangs are applied through a morph on the original mouth so they don't count, and hairs/brows are not present in the vampire race list so they are unaffected. The problem comes when the head parts are listed in different slots between normal and vampire races, because then you can have the vampire head parts overwriting the wrong slots; in this case, we would have the mouth from the vampire race list overwriting a slot that is not the mouth slot in the original race, so you get two mouths: the original one and the overlaid one. (Disclaimer: this is an educated guess and I can't check the plugin itself so I could be wrong). TL;DR: @Bad Dog, check the head part list for the vampire races and make sure the slot numbers match those of the corresponding normal race.

Hmm..that's peculiar..I have RaceCompability near the top of my load order(would post my load order, but I don't know how to copy my load order..and I'm in loath to actually type all 200+ mods out. ><) and BV is pretty far below it..and I don't have any bashed or smashed patches at all. Neither the readme's advice nor starting a new game keeps a female khajiit in my game from getting double fangs. I've yet to test any of the other races/sexes, though.

I'd either try to fiddle with mouthparts in racemenu before vampire transformation or wait for an update if I were you.
Bl1nd_Eye Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 Hey, not sure if I or anyone else mentioned this, but certain boots don't seem to work quite right with this mod, causing characters to be standing on tiptoes wearing boots instead of barefoot with paws. At least, that's how it was the last time I used this mod.

Seriously though, what is this "probably fix"? Yes I have HDT set up. I have HDT tails for Khajiit that work perfectly fine and do not float when playing animations.

Spoiler Srsly if you want real help you have to give more information. I'm guessing at the problem since you didn't post a pic. It might be something that was reported and fixed way upthread. It could be your load order but you haven't posted that. Could be your HDT setup but you haven't said what that is. Help a furry out here. I went through the vampire race setups and they're nearly all wrong. Will post an update when I have it tested.

Left-side mod order matters too and that's where the HDT stuff would show up cuz there's no esp. Make sure the tails mod is loaded pretty much last.

Previous guy who had detached tail issue either never solved it or didn't post the solution. Looks like faulty skeleton to me, I'd reinstall any skeletons you have and see if that helps. Also move YA to the bottom on left pane (you are using Mod Organizer, right?). Does that happen only with HDT-PE enabled tails?

I was just noticing that last night and thinking given the time I spent getting the neck to match the body I wasn't sure how I got it wrong. Might be something I messed up in V6, tho I dunno what.

I moved YA to the bottom of the load order and it did nothing. I did what the other poster had suggested and reinstalled my skeleton and it fixed the issue, the tails stay attached through animations. Thanks for the help guys, can't wait to play with this mod now.

YA fixes it by using a separate texture file for the tails (argonianfemaletail.dds) that doesn't include the pussy texture.

To be fair, it's not like there's a ton of unused space in the body texture so there would have been some overlap one way or another, but at least they could have tried to be compatible with tails. We're lucky they didn't just drop it right where Khajiit tails are located and it's only Argonians that are affected.
