If you're talking about 2.5 Zaira already mentioned this was leftovers from a version he was putting together before he lost alot of content. It's a little buggy if you're familiar with the setup (and pre-work). He's continuing this over on SE now.

 

The older versions (of which there were many) do have issues but it's a very complex mod trying to do things that skyrim doesn't really want to do.  

 

Haven't noticed temple of dibella issues (actually don't think I've been there, maybe I will) but I do note that it changes your characters features quite substancially in showracemenu than if you didn't have ME loaded, and sometimes on reloading an old save your character defaults to a male body, so you have to reset. Never did understand what it was doing to your character. 

 

It is a game breaking mod though (in that don't expect a playthrough of the main game with it enabled), but still must have in my playlist.

I would really like to know how to clear the restrictions on the dialogue in this mod for gender in relation to whoring dialogue options. When playing as a female char and talking to a male npc about whoring there is the option to suk the npc dick but there is no option for this when talking to a female npc? This game has some crazy mods for it one of which is sexlab which has support for strapons I even have an altered strapon mod that makes it look like a magic glowy dick for females so it doesn't make sense to restrict the dialogue this way. If some female npc wants to whip one out from under her crappy skyrim clothes and shove it down my char throat then so what it won't bother me at all. How do I fix this?

I'm wondering how playable the 2.5.1 version is. I know it wasn't finished for LE, but is it as playable as the older version or should I stick to 2.1? 2.1 has it's issues but being careful with it, it has worked pretty well for me.

2.5.1 is playable but the more interesting elements (the quests) are not complete and overall less content than 2.1 - The LE version of 2.5.1 isn't being continued as Zaira has moved to SE version (of which there is a copy, and a ported LE version). I think you'd be right to stick to one of the 2.1 variants as it seems the most stable.

I've played with Maria Eden through all the versions.  And yes, 2.5.1 is not perfect and difficult to set up, but it adds many unique options to Skyrim.  I think it's worth the effort to figure it out.

 

In my current playthrough, my character has two dominant "followers".  One is a real Skyrim follower set up to use the estXDFF New Rules... mod that ties into Deviously Curse Loot. (Deviously Cursed loot is mostly turned way down in it's MCM because of possible conflicts with Maria Eden - no gag/blindfold equip or side quests).  That follower uses the "share the loot" option from Nether's Follower Framework to get half of all your reward gold and she frequently limits your gold to <500 septims from the XDFF rule. She also requires you to ask her for sex at least once every 12 hours.  Set up the XDFF rules she uses to avoid conflict - avoid required nudity, city restraint, pet suit.

 

The other "follower" is your Maria Eden pimp and she really isn't a follower (don't add to follower framework).  She gets paid by your clients, so your character never really has much money.  You can play as a whore or slave whore with her in this setup.  She will always be after you to do more whore jobs, tie you up or lock you in a cage at night and be sensitive to what you are wearing.  And you have random whore jobs whenever you are in inhabited areas.

 

These two systems work together because the first focuses on bondage and humiliation while the second is about prostitution and submission.  Like I said your character never has much money so you could never buy a player home or do some quest calling for big payments, but otherwise you could do almost all the vanilla quests.  Both followers will fight your enemies and follow you everywhere.  With Maria Eden you need to do your Skyrim questing between about 8 am and 11 pm and avoid being in a city at lunchtime.  Even if you fail at this you can usually continue the next morning.  With the XDFF rules you are looking for any chance to get some sleep.    You can still keep the bondage trap idea from DCL or other bondage mods but escape is entirely up to you - your followers won't help.  It all just emphasizes that you are not totally in control of your actions.

 

Of course I couldn't play this scenario without the Maria Eden mod.  I have changed some of the dialog text in the mod to suit me better, but otherwise I see it as a useful tool for role-playing as it is.

Help. I loaded up the english version along with the rest of the mod, but all the dialogues are in German still. I can't understand what any of it is and I can't dismiss a follower I accidentally picked up with the German dialogues. When I disable some other parts of the mod though including the base and the dependencies on the base, it gets rid of the German dialogues, but also a lot of the features of the mod. Can anyone help?

In the Maria Eden folder delete the sound files (that's where the German dialog is coming from).  Be sure to use subtitles in your game.

If you are using Maria Eden 2.51 -- don't load ME v2.1. Also HouseofBurden is redundant w/METraingAndAuctions (If you use Quickstart you don't need either of those since there won't be any auctions)

 

On the other hand if you want to use MEV2.1 your load list should work (without House of Burden).

Edit: Everything works fine now, I had to delete HouseofBurden from my load order like you said.

To begin with, when I quickly move to the Ponytale Club and Riften Brothhel, I am thrown out of the game. How to solve this?
So where is Mary Eden located? I do not really understand how it works and where it is.

@wendel As I understand it 2.51 was a combination of new and salvaged content which was never released as Zaira had some computer issues. 2.51 is continuing in SE so builds on what you see with this version. 

 

2.1 fair to say probably has more content, and most complete, but given the age and mods it used may have been updated since you might find issues. 

 

If you have capacity to install SE worth doing as the new version is looking promising, but not that much different (currently) from what you see on the 2.5 LE version.

It's not the sound though, it's all the dialogue options, I don't know what to select because the dialogue options for this mod are all in German, even with the English version loaded alongside the others.

Get the English translation for v 2.5.1 here https://www.loverslab.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=772790   

 

Copy those files over (or just replace each of the same named files in) the MariaNew package.  I don't understand your phrase "alongside the others".  If you are refering to a load order all the MariaNew files should be loaded higher in the load order than the MariaEden 2.5.1 eng files.  Then you still need to delete the Sound folders that're part of MariaNew.  In my opinion it's better to unzip both packages and manually replace files in MariaNew with the same files from the translation package.

If all of Maria ENG is overwriting the other files then it should mostly be working like you want.  Maria ENG does not contain a translated version of Maria quests though.

Also, why after I wear the whore outfit then I do the undress action, some of the outfit set will remain on my body?

The outfits are stored in <skyrimdir>\Data\SKSE\Plugins\StorageUtilData\MariaNPCOutfits

 

Maria undress function only applies to the armor slots for body and calves.

Everything else would be much to slow.

Armor from DD or ZAP are never undressed.

another question: my pimp is frequently stuck when I assume it's some john is giving me a job but couldn't find a path to me, but the notification might not show up, so I can't figured out what's going on, and my pimp will remain staying at the same spot and not responding to conversations. I could get him rid off the situation by using cheating- quit quest, but the pimp will lose his ability of following the player. 

Is there a solution for this issue yet? ^_^

I know I am not suppose to do it but I just can't resist to make Maira pimp a follower though the vanilla gameplay(I liked Msex series on FNV).

 

Also, is the LE version of Maira abandoned? T_T
