Having an issue where my feet land in the ground after beieng released from the cart. If I mount a horse, my character is sitting far to deep in the horses back.. Anyone can help with this? Seems to be a Nio override problem..

Or any chances for a HDT High Heels only version? I get this problem with almost every mod that relies on NioHH.

this mod relies on hdt heels system - it dates back to before devious devices made use of nil-o heels

I know that. My problem is having issues with my feet beieng too low after finishing a carriage mission. This only happens when I use heels that are meant for NioHH. I understand DD is currently Nio only which seems to be the culprit here. Using Nio and HdtHH on the same save often just breaks the character y pos for some people.

so what you're asking for doesn't make any sense then unless you were looking for this to update to the current dd that's made for the nil-o heels allowing you to remove the hdt heels...

Never mind. Actually it would be really nice if some of the skillful people around here could just try replicating the bug. I ve read several posts on nexus, reddit and here and there are several suggestions to fix this, but those suggestions dont work cause it seems those people suggesting actually dont understand the the bug because they never encounter it in their own game.. Also sadly I see that their is very little understanding in the modders community for other gamers when the modders themselves dont encounter a certain bug (this refers to mods in general, not NioHH alone). Its not all modders, just some. Yes, I understand what I am saying doesnt make sense for everyone, but I am grasping straws here and currently can only guess what the issue could be.

i've actually known for quite a while the hdt heels system is flawwed. i think the fact that dd has upgraded its system to use nil-o heels suggests that they've come to the same conclusions. i don't doubt your findings even if all you have atm is an educated guess (or theory). the 2 combined systems might even be what causes the supposedly rare bug in sexlab strip - sexlab has a toggle to disable that bug that comes recommended but its off by default. again what i have is just a theory as well...

the problem is if the theories hold to be true, the solution would be to quit using mods that haven't upgraded to the new system yet Or we would need to follow the past few pages here to look into upgrading hdt heels mods to nil-o ourselves. we don't know when the modder here will return to skyrim to upgrade sluts

I d actually say Nio and HDT HH have their advantages and merrits. I ve been using HDT HH for years flawlessly. While Nio seems to be the smarter and most resourceful way to handle heels, having some of its heels break the character positon (and sometimes even the break the save because the position persits even after uninstalling the heels (even with th so called clean uninstalling, which usually helps a lot..)) is rather unfortunate. It doesnt seem to affect all heels, as far as I remember the heels I use with DD for example work fine and my character is repositioned well after unequipping them. So maybe the creators of the heels that cause the flawes are missing something, I wish I knew.

Yapp. In my case I ve done the opposite actually and ended up abandoning most mods that come with game breaking Nio high heels.

Here is a modified ESP w/o the HDT heels. I have NOT checked to see if NIO heels works in it since all the hoopla already suggests it is in play, if someone wants to try it to see if it makes a difference for them go ahead.

Thx for this. Unfortunately I am running into trouble that does not allow me to test this. The dialogue for the cart drivers eitherdoes not appear or if it appears I get stuck after the "I am ready to haul some freight". I am currently at Whitrun stables and Bjorlam does not jump of the cart to get the job started. He just sits there and first says he will see what he can do, but does nothing.. and after a few seconds the the dalogue "I am ready to haul some freight" becomes available again.

If someone posts a 10MB log it turns a few K page into a huge monster and most people reading that page will never look at a bit of that log. The bigger the log file the worse the problem, 10mb is on the low end of sizes, for a log file that has a problem like stack dumps in it the size can get into the GB range..

But that same log file can be compressed into a relatively tiny file since it's all text and a lot of it is repetitious.

i've tried to reply to some of those before - had to learn to truncate or the site would just cut it off

Yes, each message sent to the software managing the forum is limited in size (usually between 216 and  224 bytes). Your usual message should never hit that limit, however as WaxenFigure said it is possible and will kill performance both on the database (because the db has to sort and serve all that data) and for the users.

I don't understand why posting an uncompressed giant log in the messages isn't moderated (removed/edited by mods).

Oddly enough, there is very little moderator activity in the Skyrim forums. For the most part the people here are nice to each other, mostly follow the rules and try to be helpful. It is one of the best communities on the web but because it requires so little moderation we don't get much either.

What can i do if my PC loose the cart?

Per example the PC get raped, after that she can't pick up the cart again. Does it works as designed or is there a possibility to get the cart back?

Find the cart, position the character between the "handles" facing the cart and press "E" to activate it. That should harness your character up again.

That's what if tried, but it didn't work. I have tried to press 'E' around the cart many times.

But in fact that 'E' should work i guess that another Mod maybe block that button when the PC is tied up.

I am getting the issue that when you arrive at the destination to turn in your cart, and after all of the dialogue telling you that you have to return to the start for your gear and payment, the quest does not seem to advance. I end up with a quest flag at the target as well as a quest tag back at the start location. In the journal it shows the deliver your cargo and return to your start to get your gear as still active.

If I return to the start location the storage chest is locked "requiring a key" and the driver has no dialogue for me.

Is there a console command for advancing the quest so I can force it along and get my gear back?

Thanks

Same issue here. Anyone have any ideas?

I also ran into this issue. I ended up working around it by selecting the chest via the console and entering the unlock command to get my stuff back and continue on. I was then able to get new quests just fine.

At the start when the driver casts the spell on me I lose my hands and feet and am not connected to the carriage. I have all the required mods and have tried resetting several times.

You didn't run Bodyslide for the Devious Devices which is a requirement for current versions of the DD mods.

That would explain the invisible hands and feet (should be in a Yoke for the hands and pony boots on the feet).

As for not getting connected to the cart, that's probably because you don't have the XPMSE skeleton which is required for this mod because that skeleton and ONLY that skeleton has the support for connecting the cart.
