What mod are you using to pay your followers, I checked the simple taxes mod, and it doesn't say anything about paying followers...

 

Simple Taxes. :)

 

The mod description and pictures seem to be old. Current MCM allows you to set up the number of followers you have and the amount you pay for having them. It does not add gold to their inventories (obviously, or player could just take it back). It is extracted among other taxes you pay.

 

I have been playing with solid 300, but I think that it would work better, if I would start lower and raise the amount slightly when my follower(s) level up.

Thanks... I always thought that paying followers a flat, one time rate was a bit wrong. Now they can leech me dry... :)

that sounds like a conflict, I've heard some people are still using dd restrained, its way out-dated with dd. if you're not using dd restrained you'll need to try to paraphrase it the closest you can to explain what's happening and hope somebody recognizes the dialog

I'd like to add my voice to those who are having issues turning in at the end of the trip. Devious Devices is giving a Mmph! dialogue, and the SLUTS dialogue Mmph! isn't the one that is coming up. When I hit E/Enter/click, the dialogue window fades then comes back, as it does when a normal Devious Devices gag is equipped. 

 

I have Devious Devices Gags+, is it at all possible that this mod is causing a conflict somehow? I have been unable to find any option anywhere to turn off the DD gag effect (not being able to talk with one equipped), maybe somebody here knows how this can be accomplished? Or should I uninstall Gags+?

 

yes gags+ is obsolete with current dd

May I suggest putting that info into the OP, with the bit that it's outdated?

Honestly that should not be neccessary.

Gags+ was last updated 1 1/2 year ago and has a DDi requirement that is of similar age. DDi and Sexlab evolved so much that gags+ should be considdered [dead] and/or [obsolete] by pure user logic alone.

Found a bug:

 

If you finish a run, go back to your Escrow's Chest, and take back your equipment it finishes the quest. So far so good, but if you then start a new freight haul you are able to activate the empty Escrow's Chest which pops up a "Finished Taking Care of Your Package" quest notification whenever you activate your inventory (stealing, looting). This then removes the quest marker for the current delivery and allows you to take on a new job, but your character keeps the cart and outfit.

Also causes another cart to spawn and attach to you once you take on a new job.

 

Since the above sentence sounds horrible (and I am too tired to unfuck that) here's a step by step that doesn't look as stupid:

 

 

1. Finish a normal freight haul job.

2. Go back to your Escrow's chest and loot it.

3. Take new freight haul job from the dude besides your chest.

4. Once you are strapped to your cart activate the chest again.

5. Access your inventory (loot a barrel/bag/dead NPC, or steal something from someone, it does not matter how)

6. Quest finishes once you close the inventory.

I'd like to add my voice to those who are having issues turning in at the end of the trip. Devious Devices is giving a Mmph! dialogue, and the SLUTS dialogue Mmph! isn't the one that is coming up. When I hit E/Enter/click, the dialogue window fades then comes back, as it does when a normal Devious Devices gag is equipped. 

 

I have Devious Devices Gags+, is it at all possible that this mod is causing a conflict somehow? I have been unable to find any option anywhere to turn off the DD gag effect (not being able to talk with one equipped), maybe somebody here knows how this can be accomplished? Or should I uninstall Gags+?

 

yes gags+ is obsolete with current dd

 

that sounds like a conflict, I've heard some people are still using dd restrained, its way out-dated with dd. if you're not using dd restrained you'll need to try to paraphrase it the closest you can to explain what's happening and hope somebody recognizes the dialog

Gags+ was last updated 1 1/2 year ago and has a DDi requirement that is of similar age. DDi and Sexlab evolved so much that gags+ should be considdered [dead] and/or [obsolete] by pure user logic alone.

Plus all of it's content (gag talking) is provided through DDi (or was it DDx?) anyways.

This says it all with dd scripts really if your dd mod is over a year older than the dd version you're using dump it

Thanks too many replies on this topic I have solved many problems , knowing where to look.

I was testing a lot of mods at the same time.  I have no bugs, the only thing thats bugging me is my follower

he is sometimes overrun by my cart , too far behind, too lazy to protect me or my goods.

 

But without him, I wouldn't make a run at all......  , Thanks

Indeed, this is correct. In general, most DD based mods will not be broken by new updates. However, mods that are implemented by overwriting core DD scripts will break whenever those scripts are changed. This includes mods such as DD restrained / etc.

 

As a user, you can tell if a mod is problematic by taking a look at the scripts/ directory. If it contains scripts starting with zad (zadLibs.pex, for instance) and has not been updated in some time, it is likely incompatible.

Hey all & Doc!  I think this mod is going to be pretty cool as it moves forward, but here's my 2 cents...

 

I started out in Whiterun - everything went smoothly, got hooked up and was off to Riften. Knowing that there are tons of wolves and Valheim (whatever) Tower ahead, I knew I was going to have some problems :) . Got "nailed" at Valheim (d'uh) and when reattaching the cart, it started acting "weird" - kinda ping-ponging around, laying on its side, etc.  Anyway, I moved on dragging the thing (going downhill is awkward) and eventually got attacked by someone - cleared his dialog by accident and the guy started knifing me - and got trapped within the cart yoke, i.e. right behind me and I died. Rather frustrating for the distance I had traveled.  I've only played a short time, but it seems to me that the distances are simply too great.   $500 gold to go from Whiterun to Riften, all the while having to suffer the obvious hardships along the way doesn't seem like a worthwhile venture. Just a thought...but I'll try again.  :)

 

Also I noticed someone stated that there are problems with walking / running mods. I don't think so...I have the usual "Feminine Running & Dash" and "Victoria's High Heel" and experience no issues. Just saying...

 

Doc - I noticed you also did QAYL. While I understand it's impossible to diagnose things not knowing my mods, etc., I've installed QAYL twice (with different mods active) and both times it simply CTDs shortly after the loading screen. Most of my mods are of a visual nature (Realvision, CoT, ELFX), some armours, etc., so I can't figure out why I'm CTD'ing. Obviously others are playing, so it's rather odd this is happening as I don't have any mods that should affect QAYL in any fashion. Any possible ideas?

Hey Clifton. Yeah, that's what I would think. However, the only requirements mentioned are Devious Devices Integration, Devious Devices - Assets, Zaz, Sexlab  ...and I have all those, so it's quite odd. All I can think of is some conflict, but again, I really don't believe I have anything installed that should conflict with QAYL, so I'm at a loss.  I didn't have SlaveTats (which I do now) and even though they're optional, I guess I'll try it again and see what happens 'cuz S.L.U.T.S. just isn't working correctly for me now - can't attach cart - which seems to be a problem for a lot of people. Also odd as I had no problems my first go around with it. Arrggh!  :)

 

Edit:  SlaveTats MUST be a requirement 'cuz the QAYL mod works fine now.

Tried player.sqs on it and it only shows stage 10 so tried completequest on it but that didn't work either :(

Try reading the flyer / note in your inventory, that pushes the quest along towards 20, which allows you to talk to any carriage driver for further information.

Yeah i've done that to get the first pony job and i've tried going to white-run, windhelm and riften but at the end of each run if i ask for a new job straight away or when i talk to a driver with the i'm ready to haul some frieght i get a pop-up saying bj requested for driver name but nothing happens and then using the i'm ready to haul some freight it gives the "sorry no jobs" dialogue

 

It's a bit more of a bug if you say you want to do a second run as you stay locked in the DD gear but don't get a job, if i chose the i'm done dialogues i can go back to escrow and get my gear but then when i try and do a new run i get the same bj pop-up on first try and then no jobs

 

Am wondering if there some other mod i have interfering if nobody else is seeing/having this

tried on a new game with the new version and it has the same issue, get the BJ requested dialogue and then no jobs.

 

Did getstage on the scene quest and said it was at >> 10

 

Tried player.sqs on it and it only shows stage 10 so tried completequest on it but that didn't work either :(

Try reading the flyer / note in your inventory, that pushes the quest along towards 20, which allows you to talk to any carriage driver for further information.

 

 

Yeah i've done that to get the first pony job and i've tried going to white-run, windhelm and riften but at the end of each run if i ask for a new job straight away or when i talk to a driver with the i'm ready to haul some frieght i get a pop-up saying bj requested for driver name but nothing happens and then using the i'm ready to haul some freight it gives the "sorry no jobs" dialogue

 

It's a bit more of a bug if you say you want to do a second run as you stay locked in the DD gear but don't get a job, if i chose the i'm done dialogues i can go back to escrow and get my gear but then when i try and do a new run i get the same bj pop-up on first try and then no jobs

 

Am wondering if there some other mod i have interfering if nobody else is seeing/having this

I notice you have "puppet master" as well as "puppet master swallow"

if that's anything to do with a bj as the name implies, i'd suggest trying that as a possible conflict to disable--no idea either, just possible suggestion

What would be the console commands to tether the cart to my character? The "taxi" and "cart test" spell tether on me fine, but when i do the quest the cart will never tether no matter how many times I try it.

Not quite sure how it happened. But after a run the delivery quest got stuck - it would have the deliver package as undone but also the get escrow chest done. Some slavetats, specifically in body slot 2 were never removed and I can't figure out how to manually fix that. The sluts livery is stuck on my char.

Hey all & Doc!  I think this mod is going to be pretty cool as it moves forward, but here's my 2 cents...

 

I started out in Whiterun - everything went smoothly, got hooked up and was off to Riften. Knowing that there are tons of wolves and Valheim (whatever) Tower ahead, I knew I was going to have some problems :) . Got "nailed" at Valheim (d'uh) and when reattaching the cart, it started acting "weird" - kinda ping-ponging around, laying on its side, etc.  Anyway, I moved on dragging the thing (going downhill is awkward) and eventually got attacked by someone - cleared his dialog by accident and the guy started knifing me - and got trapped within the cart yoke, i.e. right behind me and I died. Rather frustrating for the distance I had traveled.  I've only played a short time, but it seems to me that the distances are simply too great.   $500 gold to go from Whiterun to Riften, all the while having to suffer the obvious hardships along the way doesn't seem like a worthwhile venture. Just a thought...but I'll try again.  :)

 

Also I noticed someone stated that there are problems with walking / running mods. I don't think so...I have the usual "Feminine Running & Dash" and "Victoria's High Heel" and experience no issues. Just saying...

 

Doc - I noticed you also did QAYL. While I understand it's impossible to diagnose things not knowing my mods, etc., I've installed QAYL twice (with different mods active) and both times it simply CTDs shortly after the loading screen. Most of my mods are of a visual nature (Realvision, CoT, ELFX), some armours, etc., so I can't figure out why I'm CTD'ing. Obviously others are playing, so it's rather odd this is happening as I don't have any mods that should affect QAYL in any fashion. Any possible ideas?

Consider how much YOU pay HIM to haul your ass around in his wagon and 500 gold seems like a huge amount.

Hey all,

 

Sorry I've been a bit quiet. Been a busy weekend with a lot of RL happening, so I've not had much time. I did get a few fixes and improvements in for the cart, although I still need to test one of them. (I also put some time into trying to fix Helpless and tweaking the DD scripting for the yoke.

 

I'll post more tonight when I have a bit more time.
