The writer seems to be a Gen Xer who played AD+D (or Boot Hill, Traveller, Star Frontiers, Planescape, Twilight:2000, Gamma World, Gangbusters, Space Opera, Car Wars, or Paranoid) as well as early PC games. I agree. I will be 48 in a few months and love all the references to the early days of gaming and 80s pop culture. My son (20) can't explain why he liked it so much, I just asked him and he shrugged and said "I like movies". I promise you he is not mentally handicapped. LMAO. 2

I was up around Amsterdam (Broadalbin (sp?) post office address though) while in nuke school for a winter. On the musical front: Proof that Benny Hill's theme can make almost anything funny (had this song going through my head on the drive home from work for no reason). 1

Didn't make it through though. I missed a week when my grandmother died and just couldn't catch back up. Ended up on a supply ship (AOE 4) based in Jersey. 1

steelpanther24 Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 Making my next radio expansion mod, I am weighing the pros and cons of using different types of music. I have noticed that I have a wide range of tastes in music from K Pop, to classical to gangster rap, but........ the mod needs to appeal to a diverse audience. So I am interested in people's opinion on how much they will suffer/allow for/listen without uninstalling a song or two but still enjoy the over all station. I am interested in everyone's opinion, answering how much patience do you have for a radio station that may play a wide range of music styles. Basically, I want to find out if putting classic rock, gangster rap, funk, blues, and country music in a radio mod limit will limit my mod's appeal. I have five original songs (including the one below), but need five more.

RavenOryon Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 Definitely a metal head. Primarily Thrash, melodic death, gothic metal, symphonic metal, power metal etc. though really I can listen to ALMOST anything. My own band is influenced by the 80's thrash metal bands primarily however.
