Just some general observations about compatibility I've found while starting to use this mod. I have a pretty stable setup now and rarely CTD (but given i have over 200 mods running, I expect a few CTDs   ) :

 

Mods that seem to conflict with Maria:

 

Sanguine's Debauchery +

Sexlab Dialogues

Devioiusly Enslaved

Deviously Cursed Loot

Amazing Follower Tweaks

Sexlab Submit

 

Mods that seem to coexist peacefully:

 

Devious Devices - Integration

Devious Devices - Expansion

More Nasty Critters

Xas Prison Overhaul

Horrified Female Prisons

Realistic Needs and Diseases

Schlongs of Skyrim

Convenient Horses

Captured Dreams

This is by no means a complete list and your mileage may vary. But Generally it seems mods that override default dialog or force events tend to conflict more than other more passive mods. Also mods that force a collar on you will often knock the Maria collar off, which is not that great (but luckily not completely game breaking).

 

If you can provide some specifics about the nature of the incompatibilities between Cursed Loot and Maria, I could look into if I can do something to make them more compatible.

 

@zaira: Not sure if there is a variable in StorageUtil or anything like that I could use to detect if the player is currently enslaved by Maria, but that's what SD+ does, and I am already using it to prevent some clashes between Cursed Loot and SD+. I might be able to do the same for Maria.

It's just that Cursed Loot is a pretty dominant mod. By that I mean, invariably you'll open a chest or something and a cursed or slut collar will be attached and it knocks off the Maria collar. And mostly can't be removed for a very long time. And then once that happens, the Device comments start, which basically override everything and happen at the most inopportune moments. 

 

Device Comments don't seem to check if you're already in a dialogue, they will just trigger and if you're in a dialogue with someone else, you get penalized anyway ("Hey don't walk away from me!")

 

I'm guessing you'd have to check nearby actors (within speaking distance to the player) and see if  IsInDialogueWithPlayer() returns true. (might also be good to call IsInScene() on the player).  If either returns true, abort the Device comment.

I don't seem to be able to activate the static restraints.  I get enslaved, the slaver says "Get in" and I see a multi restraints pillar or a cross which has the option to use when I mouse over, but if I try and use it the camera locks for a few seconds as if an animation is supposed to play but nothing else happens.  I have ZAP 6.04 and have run FNIS.

Is her house finished ? If she's angry and wants to punish me she strolls to the center of the room and says to get on. Get on what ? There's nothing around there for whipping . Same deal with the sleep in her home,strip, get on and then nothing .

I'm here for the same issues, in theory I can detect if the player is a Slave in Maria's Eden with the faction MariasEdenSlaveFaction, but there are some holes where this faction is not always applied to the player, like Transport of goods. I need a better way to catch if the player is enslaved or not, I would rather not have to check 3 quests 2 keywords and a faction.

When I figure out how to edit the MCM menu, I'll try to add a restriction to getting approached for sex as a slave while a slave to maria, but you can turn DE off temporarily or permanently at any time from MCM as a temporary fix.

 

Edit: Actually, you shouldn't be getting approached by NPCs while a maria slave, DCur collar should be irrelevant. You should only be approached if maria is whoring you out. Probably further down in the order of detection, might fix it later if it is.

Install the latest Zaz AnimationPack correctly . I think,the meshes are missing.

Yep, this sounds like you installed only the PATCH file. In order to install ZAZ correctly you must install THREE files, first is the v0600 Textures pack, then the v0600 Main instal and only then should you install the v0604 Update patch.

Yep, this sounds like you installed only the PATCH file. In order to install ZAZ correctly you must install THREE files, first is the v0600 Textures pack, then the v0600 Main instal and only then should you install the v0604 Update patch.

 

 

It was , thanks for clarifying .Now the scene progresses normal (on the cross -> sleep-> waking) .

The first issue would be easily solvable if Maria would provide a means for me to detect whether or not the player is currently enslaved, in which case I could prevent the Cursed Loot collars from getting equipped. They would normally respect other restraints anyway, but Maria doesn't use the DD framework for its restraints, so in that case, they can't.

 

The "Don't walk away from me" dialogue is -definitely- not from me. I believe it's Deviously Enslaved, but I might be mistaken. Cursed Loot's device comments trigger only during actual dialogue, not idle comments. That, and you can conveniently disable them in MCM anyway.

Ah ok, I got a little confused which mod is doing what. I have Deviously Enslaved on the list as well though ;)

 

as far as detecting the collars, the most straightforward way would be to check for the keyword they put on all the collars "MariaEdensCollar" 0xXX22FB73.

 

I don't know if you've ever done a soft dependency, but basically you can dynamically check for another mod without making it a requirement of your mod.

 

To get the keyword from Maria for comparison, you would put this somewhere in your OnPlayerLoadGame()

Keyword MariaKW = Game.GetFormFromFile(0x0022FB73, "Maria.esp") as Keyword
if MariaKW
        debug.Notification("Maria found, keyword is non-null and ready for comparing.")
Else
        debug.Notification("Maria not found, keyword is null and can be disregarded.")
EndIf

Then you can later check that keword against the items worn before proceeding, if MariaKW is null, just continue on as the mod isn't installed.

when running a scene where you must strip and you are wearing a harness or rubber suit the scene will get stuck. Uusually cheat myself some keys at that point.

In regards to the above I was thinking: Many of the sex-scenes as a whore/in the taverns etc you get to choose what is done to you via menu. Wouldn't it be more immersive if, just as you wrote yourself, the player wouldn't have any choice about what a customer wants from him/her? 

 

Disable debug mode...

 

 

Now THAT ... seems like an easy solution ... :dodgy:

I have found that for me it was best to play this mod using ModOrganizer.

 

0. I set up duplicated or made a new profile, and striped everything out but what was recommended by this mod maker.

 

1. Basicaly removing any DDI, DDE stuff and SexlabAroused, and anything that needed them removed, but keeping DDA (devious devices Asset's). (SexlabAroused Redux may be okay, which is the one I am using, but I actually have it turned off as well in the profile for this Mod)

 

3. Sense I was using an old save rather than make a new game, I also used savetool, and PDTWrapper to clean my save of all left over script's, and general BS that Skyrim tends to leave in your save game file.

 

4. Then play this mod on this profile, as this mod give's me most everything in a different mannor than DDI, I find I miss nothing really by playing this mod in it's own personal profile, and as this mod is rather unique in it's story line most of those DDI mods where just in the way anyhow.

 

5. For me, this seems the safest way to avoid many hangup' s that can happen in this mod, and avoid's problems with the DDI mod's which I also like to play some times as well.

 

6. I find that I pretty much always have to run FINIS (from ModOrganizer), before playing any of my Profile's as they need to be allocated for the different Profile's that I have, but for me this has been the best course, which allow's me to play most any mod, with as few CTD, and hang up's as possible. 

 

7. Side benifit is also when I do have a problem, it is easier to know just what is causing it.

 

Might not be the way many would like to play, but for me it has worked pretty good.

I actually like having choice's, rather than having to view, or be bored, or bothered by any fetish I have no desire to view. I hope this remains as I just like as many choices as I can get when trying to enable my ultimate fantasy in any mod, rather than be forced into someone else's perfect idea.

 

   In fact I hope for many more option's as to hard core, softer core, less PC death's for silly things like forgetting to ask, and walking out the door of an INN, and suddenly being placed on a Cross, and killed..LOL

 

   Maybe a warning, "better ask My Misstress or master befor I exit through this door"

 

And yes ticking the Debug off, will fix this for you :)

There's 3 collars used by Maria, the "Slave Collar", the "Slut Collar", and the "Succubus Collar". But they all have the same keyword, so checking for the keyword covers all 3 cases.

I finally got to a good no-CTD state last night thanks to Mod Organizer.  Still had some bugs (invisible dialogue, Dragonreach AI fried/slut job incompletable) but otherwise seems to be working now.

I finally got to a good no-CTD state last night thanks to Mod Organizer.  Still had some bugs (invisible dialogue, Dragonreach AI fried/slut job incompletable) but otherwise seems to be working now.

 

 

something else to consider, I find is best to get your ModOrganizer at http://sourceforge.net/projects/modorganizer/?source=typ_redirect

 

as there you will find the latest version, Nexus is quite often outdated.

This mod basically Rape's not only your character, but your inventory too, which will make trying to finish many of the main game quest's pretty much nada, nixed, unable to do. so I would not play it on any save, or profile that I cared about.

  Do play it on a separated Prrofile, it would be your safest bet.

So I keep using the wait key to get past the 15 game hour wait time for the khajiit to show and the quest keeps failing.

 

I guess I'm not supposed to do that?

I have noticed or for me if I am captured, or surender, that what ever time it tells you to wait in the little dialogue pop up is normally what you need to do.

 

or if it says the master will sleep for 5 hours or what ever that seems to be the time to wait.

 

asking the master if they need entertainment may in some area's cause them to bind, and leave you, which if another NPC comes by may led to more abuse, or possibly they will just take you as there slave, and you get a new master..

 

But The quest has failed on some captures where it said to wait for 15 or 16 hours.  also I think some of the factions that may capture you other than bandits have not been figured into the mix. I know I have had the khajiit to get chased away by some of the outlaws that have captured me.

 

  The Khajiit seem to be very cowardly in some event's running away if any agressors are still in angry mode. kneeling will sometimes get around this, as it tends to make all aggression stop.

Yes. The dialogue problem has been reported previously so i'm sure that will be on the list of stuff to fix.

 

The issue with her punishing you isn't actually an issue, its a feature. When you're done playing for a while and want to quit, you need to ask permission before you save/quit. Its the "can i leave you alone" option that you want.

 

Sadly, the mod doesn't know the difference between quitting without asking first and CTD so you can get punished for crashing too.  :P

Thanks. Man that feature is awesome then. Maybe we can do a Q and A thread for this mod? i'm sure other poeple have the same questions as i did. Maybe we could compile them.

Seriously ? Break the fourth wall for no reason at all ? That's not a feature, that's.....absurd and not in a good way. Perhaps in the next update she badmouths the player too ?

At least I can re-install a few mods that I had removed, that thing was driving me crazy and was under the impression that something conflicted when during startup.

EDIT: Would it be too much of a bother to add an option in MCP to disable this down through the line ?
