Maybe some NPC overhaul (like New Vegas Redesigned) changed the vanilla race males to custom races, NVR caused the same in my game.

TRO has some issues as it override some scripts with its own modified version. I wrote about it in the support topic about it, and neutron_rus provided an updated esp shortly after (I tested it with them shortly after).

 

TRO changes the list of outfits to not remove, so I would suggest grabbing the upgraded esp if you are using that overhaul mod.

I am looking for some advice on how to proceed with Nephi's initial quest. To refresh memories, he's asking the player to earn 2k caps through blowjobs only. The issue I'm having is that most NPC refuses the offer when asked (a quick look through xEdit tells me there are 10 possible answers, 8 of them are refusals). Cass is drinking her own milk, no idea how to stop that, and doesn't give any BJ to anybody. 5 caps the BJ, to get to 2k means 400 johns. Each of them has 1 chance in 5 to agree to be serviced. That's kind of an insane time requirement asked of the player, but I may be missing something obvious. Is there a way to make the whole process go faster?

 

I couldn't find the initial greeting dialog tree, the one where the player ask for the BJ. It's probably hidden deep into the GREETING Legion list.

 

(Edit: previously searched stuff to debug legion related things, brain slipped)

The only thing Nephi wants is 2,000 caps. How you get that is your business.

That's exiting news. Do you have a roadmap of what you want to accomplish? I'd assume mostly bugfixes and tweaks.

I reloaded from an earlier save and no longer have any issues, probably had to do with a buggy approach from inside the powder gangers cell to my character outside.

 

I do like this mod a lot, joining the gangs in a real way was something I always wanted to do when playing a low karma character

So, I went to Vault 19 and got the pain train. However Cass is somehow still wearing her milking harness and the vault's slave outfit seems broken (show only one one leg).

 

Did I screw something during install?

The only thing that's planned for the update is giving voices to some unvoiced NPCs and fixing some dialog typos, in addition to fixing Sexout Slavery going off of the reservation during the NCRCF enslavement.

I'm curious, does this mod replace some NPCs during or after their enslavement? Like Trudy, Corporal Betsy and some other characters look different after their plot. Also wasn't there some conflict with sexout breeder about the Christina Morales NPC that was aknowledged? Is it getting fixed this patch?

If you have MPO, that would probably be an issue I created. I don't really see an issue here, except small clipping in the right leg?

T.B.H. I didn't know that Sexout Tryout was already using Christina Morales NPC.

 

We'll have to look up, how to make it compatible (We = SexoutBreeder team)

Well cass outfit in the screenshot is the milking outfit from the fiends. The actual vault19 outfit is the band on the leg. I'll try to get a proper screenshot of my character instead, was kind of tired last night.

 

Figured I'd check MPO's nifs, and when SOB's lactation is in effect and breast morph occurs, my character gets 2 pairs of nipples. I can follow up on your discord though.

@Loogie I've been digging around the scripts because of various reasons, one of them is to figure out why Cass still has her milker and why is it hidden in her inventory. I believe I found a typo:

 

In SOTOMilkingQuestScript (xx047FD5), first line would generate a syntax error.

The question about the V19 outfit earlier has been resolved, the outfit is fine but just looks weird (some straps on one leg?).

Another question regarding Vault 19: is Cass supposed to always get whipped?

 

I am afraid of having entered into a buggy state and I'm wondering if I should restore to an earlier save.

 

My game crashes sometimes, however the context isn't obvious. The NVAC log shows: 

07151702 ; script 'Expression Error: SYNTAX' (0A003128).

But that doesn't seem to trigger the crash.

I had to go to the cave with cazadors. That was hell on my framerate. I'm still confused about the whole fiend milking sub-quest, doesn't really seem to want to work for me. To be sure I would need to restart a character without the overhaul, but that's way too much work and I the overhaul do not touch the milk stuff.

I tried the walk of shame for Sunny Smiles, without having her companion mod, and that apparently do not work: she doesn't follow and has missing textures. Clarifying that in the OP would be nice, I originally went into the game thinking the companion mod was optional and then forgot about its existence. Maybe I'm blind and didn't see it was already recommended, in that case I am to blame.

Anyhow, I played enough Tryout to arrest an opinion. It's integration into New Vegas's world is actually well thought out, which make it seem nearly natural. And so it's at the same time a quality and its weak point, the whole set of natural quests is enjoyable to experience but we somehow expect a bit more. For example, is there a follow up after joining the khan through "golden whore"? How does it help me? I find myself wanting more.

Fransisco Flambe seems oddly friendly with the female PC once he takes over Vikki and Vance, I always found that weird.

I know broad changes isn't to be expected, I just wanted to say that Tryout is a pretty good mod overall.

Addendum on the milking system, because I think I finally found some answers:

  • Scrotes has his inventory overridden by SexoutWorkingGirl, and thus empty (BUG?).
  • Because Scrotes doesn't have the remote, the player can't steal it.
  • The subject needs a milk bottle to generate milk, otherwise they drink their own milk. This is never explained in the game, left me perplexed as followers tends to consume whatever is in their inventory.
  • The milk harness isn't an armor and will stay on seemingly unphased by whatever you wear. The milker might have a default body, which could be shown glitchy.
  • I still don't know if the syntax error I reported several posts earlier is impactful, that is if the script runs at all.
  • Scrotes dialog tree is confusing, doesn't seem to effectively do anything which made me conclude (perhaps erroneously) that it is broken.
  • Forcefully removing the harness from Cass (using cli removeitem) then talking to Scrotes unlocks a line, doesn't seem to do anything.
  • Scrotes seemed to have vanished at one time. Couldn't find him. Placed it to the player through cli.

I don't know if any of those are true, misunderstanding or a mix of both. Without third party confirmation, I'm still wholly unsure. It does make me want to figure out how to get GECK running in a GNU/Linux+wine environment and dig around the esm, however it is a painful task to endeavor and would requires me to be strongly motivated. Tryout as the tendency of picking my brain, as things seems odd, and make me want to investigate further. It's not a healthy behavior for me at the moment.

 

Anyhow, @Loogie, do you have any insight to help me understand it? I'd understand if you could not give a honest answer though, as this project is already quite old and enough time passing it's easy to forget specifics.

Took some sifting and thought I found the answer to my issue.

 

I have the same problem as lightwalker above and by the post below it, which was needing to download spectrum's toys, I had this mod installed prior but still ran into the issue where when my character was enslaved by the powder gangers, they threw a slave outfit and collar over her but instead of clothes it was that big fat exclamation mark covering her body.

 

Any thoughts? Ideas? Help pls? :)

I'm positive that you are missing one of the resources needed in SexoutCommonResources or the sexout-tryout package, I just don't know which.

Can you go to console, click on her and get het inventory. I'd like to know the name and ID of the slave collar. Then I can find out which item you are missing.

I'm not terribly familiar with how to utilize the console commands, sorry.

 

I've clicked ~ to bring up console, clicked on her but it just says name of my character and a few digits, not sure how to generate the deets for their inventory. :(

 

EDIT: I paid a visit to the sexstore and the one [Mary Holmwood] that sells the gags, collars and slave get up also has a big fat exclamation mark over them.

 

I purchased a mouth gag, no issues.

 

I purchased a collar, BIG ! issue.

 

Think the spectrum toys may be the issue... but I downloaded em and with the gag and other stuff working I'm not sure why the collars would be the exception.

 

There's also another vendor, Kerri Addison [sells combat/power armour], who is a floating head with hands, the rest of her body is completely invisible/missing. O-o;;

 

While Kerri MAY be a separate issue, I think Mary's !-ness is the same as the ncrcf slave outfit ! issue I'm currently troubleshooting, still not sure how to fix it but I refer to the above post in response to your earlier question. :P

 

EDIT, EDIT: Come to think of it, a vast majority of the items sold by the sexout vendors do not work, or rather, when equipped they turn my character mostly invisible, it's only the incidental head area items (like necklaces or eye/ear pieces) that cause a big fat ! to appear. I'm really not sure why this is the case as I downloaded the respective mods for them (hence how, I presume, they're there for sale in the first place).

 

I do feel like I'm getting warmer to resolving the issue, there was one instance previously where Actor B equipped anal beads to my character but they were never visible. So it seems the whole shebang of spectrum toys and bout 90% of the clothes available in the sexout store aren't working properly.

 

I'm using FOMM, for reference. :S

 

EDIT, EDIT, EDIT: Turns out I didn't have Maternity Overkill Pack enabled which, admittedly, did help with a good chunk of the outfits in the sexout store, changing them from invisible bodies to actual bodies. However there was the issue of textures, warped as they were when I moved the mouse around (a black dress would turn to white or variations depending on where in 3rd person I gazed at it from) and the other outfits that looked like they were working caused my characters... well... breasts... to be suuuuuuuuuuuuuper stretched.

 

There were still a few outfits that are still invisible however, unsure why. :S

Hearing this story, I believe you aren't missing 1 resource, but many resources

 

 

if you download the PDF on the page above, you get a detailed description of how to install the resources.

It's best to just get them all.

 

The exclamation marks is because you are missing the New Vegas Chokers. The outfits are from a bunch of mods.

 

The Texture glitches you get, are because MPO doesn't contain textures, that are in the requirements of MPO. (to save space)

Remember you have to RENAME THE CHOKERS as the instructions indicate. (also part of the capture shows. That BSA needs to be renamed. the info is in  the guide. Follow it and you will be good to go. think you forgot something just add it to the resources folder, compress the new folder and install the new one. (make sure you remove the old one. Instructions for that is toward the bottom.

 

I admit the tutorial needs to be reworked and updated but the info for what to install is still 100% accurate.
