ok, fixed that first issue, the Mistress still doesnt show up, the girl in pink doesnt go get her or anything, she just keeps on sweeping

So what does she say when you talk to her? Have you tried starting anew with fixing the device hider setting before you try to put on the rubber gear?

 

yes, and the dialogue is fine, i tell her to go get her she says ok, then she just goes back to sweeping.

Try 'startquest tir_twr_fetchmistress' in the console. And if that doesn't help, 'prid xx014f35', followed by 'moveto player' (replace xx with the hex mod index in your load order). That should transport the Mistress to you.

ok, the startqwuest thing doesnt work, so i tried the prid thing, but ive tried replacing XX with 32-37, and 32-20, and none of those numbers work, despite this being my load order:

You have to use '1F'. Alternatively, type 'coc tir_towerpartyroom', walk towards the Mistress (the elf in white) and then click on her to get the refid. Then reload and use that id.

There is a problem with this mod and a mod called expanded towns and city's. when you have to deliver the four letters one of the houses gets put on top of the barrel in riverwood  and becomes inaccessible even when you use the tcl command. I would suggest moving the barrel and putting it next to the lumber mill or the small dock behind the mill as these two structures don't get moved.

Seems to me like a problem with that other mod. The barrel was placed there by Bethesda and is part of vanilla Skyrim. If I move it, I risk incompatibilities with other mods that might rely on the other space being free. Or on the barrel being where it is now.

 

I'll see if I can come up with a solution but for now, it's probably best to just disable such highly invasive mods.

Do what you like i'm just letting you know of one of the problems that breaks your mod and in this situation i have two choices disable a mod that alters EVERY town and city in the game or a buggy mod that i have had more than one problem with. The others being the gas mask that was invisible and the mask effect that would not go away and the basement i could not get out of no mater how many times i activated the sewer. I have given you the info you need to fix this bug do with it as you will.

 

PS - i have had 0 problems with this highly invasive mod that alters a HUGE portion of skyrim.

So, i downloaded this mod and all of the required bits, and installed alternate start and more nasty critters to go with it, well alt start crashed every time i went to use the bed, so i got rid of that, then my game crashed every time i tried to use nasty critters so i got rid of that mod, now i'm at the point were i found the strange girl in the rubber suit, I can take the gas mask and the book but if i try and take the chest piece, boots or gloves the game crashes, any ideas?

Not really. It seems like something is generally wrong with your setup. Check your papyrus log.

Not really. It seems like something is generally wrong with your setup. Check your papyrus log.

 

 

I was going back over everything when I realized several of my mods were out of date (Unoffical patches, DD, Zaz) I also switched from using UNP to CBBE just to be safe, everything works perfectly now. Thank you for making this amazing mod by the way!

Gas mask is invisible for me, anyone got any ideas why?

Have you tried reading the OP?

Troubleshooting:

  • The gasmasks do not show up on my character!

     

    There is currently a conflict between the default settings for the device hider from DDi and the gasmasks from the Shiny Catsuits mod. Open the MCM menu for DDi (Section "Devices Underneath (1)") and set the device hider to use a different slot (like 54 or 60) or disable it completely.

A few questions regarding this mod:

 

1. Any consideration of a mechanic that would allow a player who has lost access to the escape tunnel to still get out of the suit to do quests that require certain clothing (such as Diplomatic Immunity) without resorting to "cheating" via the console?

 

2. After dealing with the desperate chef, the game informs me that I have completed The Desperate Chef. However, the quest did not appear in the journal either before or after that announcement, making it a bit confusing.

 

3. The party quest is a bit spammy in regards to the journal; is there any way you could do it that doesn't cause the journal to fill with a large number of completed entries? Also, ending the party appears to not properly end the Waitress quest that is running and leaves it as active in the journal.

Not sure. If you lose the escape tunnel, then it's a consequence of your own actions. Maybe you should have to live with it. Gaming means, by its very definition, that you can lose.

That is because the chef is his own quest and when a quest reaches the stage that is marked as "completed", the message will appear. I don't think I can prevent that. The only way I can think of would be to not officially complete the quest and just leave it open forever in a stage where nothing happens anymore. But I'm not sure if that's a good idea. Might clog up memory and make debugging more difficult.

 

I could make a quest start message appear by writing something in the journal. But then you'd have it in the journal.

 

3. The party quest is a bit spammy in regards to the journal; is there any way you could do it that doesn't cause the journal to fill with a large number of completed entries? Also, ending the party appears to not properly end the Waitress quest that is running and leaves it as active in the journal.

I don't know how. The moment I display an objective, it creates a journal entry. The only way I know of to prevent journal entries is to remove the objectives and the quest markers. Not sure if that's a good idea.

 

2 and 3 are basically because of the way the Skyrim journal works. If it can be done differently, I don't know how. :-/

I'm working on it. Provided I don't die in a car accident or something like that, it'll come.

 

I can't tell you when that will be, however. Probably weeks rather than months, but as it goes with free time projects - that could change any day.

Would be awesome if the Mistress advised the player of the rubber trees and then have some random 'rubber trees' placed in the world that attack you when you come too close, then find yourself all rubbered up haha

Life is chaos and shit happens. Imagine I die and then you complain that I promised to finish my mod! How could I live with myself after that?

You go right ahead and create the models and animations for that. I'll be happy to integrate it. :cool:

Nudity check in the sewer escape should be tweaked a bit

 

It already is in the development version. I gave up on the extended slots and now only check base slots (hands, feet, body, etc.).

 

 

BTW: I'm currently in the testing phase. Bughunting sucks.

cool. are you also aware of the bug that mistress may go back to partying after the questline. happened to me.
