digi2600 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I've been running this for awhile, and I've never seen a MCM or anything to set options for Sanguine’s Debauchery Patches. This had been tried with several mods and different orders for a long time. I am either not loading the mcm, or not finding it, if under Sanguine’s Debauchery MCM or another mod.

I always thought it would be under it's own section, or in Sanguine’s Debauchery MCM, under Addons & mods section. Thank you.
DonQuiWho Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Just as a quick thought, if I have understood everything OK :-), is it worth mentioning in the 'Requirements' section on the front page that this should only be used with SD+ 2.044 and not with SD+ 3.0?

Yes, good idea. I'll do it tonight.

It might me a good idea to add it to your downloads as well since SD Patches is built on top of it.

That will clear up confusion hopefully. When you are interested, I have an idea how SD Patches 2.0 could be structured to run as an add-on to SD+ and not a hard patch.

darkfender666 Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 yet i'd love the same features on the new SD
locualo Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 what is sd+ 2044? my version of sd+ is 3.02c...
DeepBlueFrog Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 yet i'd love the same features on the new SD Which features in particular? I tried to incorporate many features and ideas from SD Patches into the new version of SD+ already. what is sd+ 2044? my version of sd+ is 3.02c... SD+ 2.04.4 was the last version of SD+ used to build SD Patches. Since this mod is a patch, it is tightly linked to the scripts of that particular version of SD+, which means they cannot work with SD+ 3.02 and will actually break that version.
Guest Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Which features in particular? I tried to incorporate many features and ideas from SD Patches into the new version of SD+ already. I like the heavy use of devices in this version, as well as the (occasionally) functional former-master-as-follower, and the ability to escape (even though it is difficult). I think it's just a matter of preference, and there are certainly improvements in version 3. I maintain MO profiles for both versions.

I liked a lot the cages and zaz furnitures when master went to sleep and the use of the same for display when master wanted. Also the plugs activation as punishment. really few mods makes use of the awesome zaz furnitures. Even if i have to tell the new sd is really nice already.

But till v.0.77 SD Patches didn't strictly required SD+ 2044, right? I'm asking this because I use v.0.76 on SD+ 3.0.2 and noticed requirement for v.2044 only now.
ttpt Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 SD+ 3.0.2 probably didn't even exist when patch 0.76 was current. Any patch older than 0.77 will require 2044 because the patches are built on top of that, SD+ 3 changed a lot of scripts, so using any patches found here will lead to trouble on it. This is true until a newer version of the patches shows up that explicitly states it's using SD+ 3, and when that happens those patches would be incompatible with SD 2044.

If you're using 0.76 with SD 3+, it is probably not working correctly or is hurting your game somehow. Then again, I've never tried it. What exactly is your experience using the mods together?

I wouldn't expect SD Patches to work well on top of SD+ 3.0, if at all. There were just too many changes between versions of SD+.
octanium Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I did not think that anybody was still using this. Everytime i'm trying a new version of the original SD/SD+ i'm very disappointed. Most times it made my game very unstable, had a lot of unfinished features, missing assets in animations, etc. Same with new version. Either I'm doing something completely wrong or it is just that way. Your patches made the mod a lot more interesting and playable to me. It feels more stable, complete and the way it should be. I'm very disappointed that the developer of SD+ didn't integrate all of your patches. He seems to be going a different way. How about making your very own mod out of it? Or maybe making something new like this from scratch (maybe with a more lightweight version without sanguines realm and with a stable code-base)? That should make it a lot easier for you to move the mod to the point you want it to be and you don't have to keep up with the SD+ development.

For the features I did not include (mostly because of a difference of direction and feedback from other users), I tried to build the new version of SD+ in a modular way to make another SD Patch easier to build and maintain. That said, I am not done working on SD+ or incorporating features from SD Patches.. I need to approach that in a way that I can keep building upon. For example, the next update to SD+ will include automatic removal of cuffs during sex scenes. Making a new version with a stable code base would be nice but it is a lot more work than it seems, even for a lite version. Talk to anyone trying to make a slavery mod at this point and you will see how easy it is.

Why not take it a bit further and make a real basic and stable slavery framework out of the current codebase. Something like DDi , only implementing the basic mechanics as a library and then move current logic and directional stuff like the realm, special punishment handling, etc into its own mod. That way many different mods like this one can co-exists, no patching is needed at all and all would have the luxury of not having to write their own complicated slavery code.
locualo Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 thanks for your response skyrimll, so this mod it's of no use then.
