mrtauntaun Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 So I have an interesting issue with the .67 patch. After i am defeated and the enslaved quest starts, the character gets unequipped fine, but nothing gets equipped. I have no control, can't open any menus (inventory, etc) nor can I fight. I can interact with the master and move, but that's about it. If I use the safe word, the quest ends but I am still locked out of control. I can use EPC in the console to get it back, but the quest doesn't start up proplerly for me. This is on a new game. I reverted back to .65 and all seems to work fine with that version installed. Any ideas?
darkfender666 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Same as above but its not that you lose control Its more that scripts are extermely slow ... if you wait minutes it change phase..... just it takes forever. It didn t happen in previous versions. P.S: not pc fault, since its a recent gaming pc with way more resources to run the ultra settings and lot of mods...only issue i don t run ENB and skyrim memory boosts.

Inte Posted November 10, 2014 Author Posted November 10, 2014 Sure thing. Ok, have you ever run a game save cleaner? If not you should, if you did you should run it again. You should check your inventory for ghost worn items, and remove them, i.e. no-name items with just ID and showing as being worn. Try not to update patches while wearing items. New patches might change some of the old items ID’s and those items will get stuck on you. Can you equip any other devices? Say, buy an armbinder from CD shop and try to put it on.

I downgraded SD+ from 3.xx (new Game) and my Game crashed after 5 minutes (no storage space) I take a Look at the Papyrus-logs .... 12-30 GigaByte!!! per logfile ( i can not open this files...file is to big) (normal is ~ 50-500Kb, frostfall is not active...missing frostfall-files...etc) This is not good for a SSD

Hmm... try disabling mods, haven't run SD+ 3 yet so not sure what to expect there. Not running frostfall either.

You're on the test thread for SD+3, how many times did skyrimll say they are not compatible, it's amazing your PC did not melt.

(example when answering badly to master) the NPC simply goes away instead of whipping :< and the scene stops while the character is on the zaz furniture. Is it compatible with latest zaz animations? If too many of you think that is emersion breaking, I can revert it back, to 1 min, but I like the poses so probably not. Unless you get a message about the whipping its just a pose scene.

I click on them and nothing happens. Hmm...that should not happen on a new save. Sounds like the global variables I used to control those options did not initialize properly... hmm. You can type help "_sd_" "3" in the console and look for _SD_config_RemoveArmBinder then you can type set _SD_config_RemoveArmBinder to 1 to turn that feature on. Almost 2 minutes. I thought it was done at one point then a bit later the gag just vanished. I'll try setting that variable manually and report back. Thanks for all your great work on this patchmod, I really enjoy it.

Oh That is nice to hear. Only issue left is master going away (example i had a follower as master and it went home >.<) I still can use movetoplayer command from console. Ty a lot
j.smith42 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 ok, I really hope that I'm not posting an issue someone else has pointed out... whch I highly doubt as what is happening seems to be kind of mod breaking for me. For reasons I cannot quite understand, each time I have to start a new game, with the patches activated, several 'quests' within SD+ vanish completely, leaving just an empty spot with a small black checkbox next to it. Each time it does not install one or more of the quests, but the most common vanishing are 'Coveted', gold for the wicked, and most importantly, 'Enslaved" which is listed in the console as starting but nothing posts on screen at all. Admitingly, this is all done without beginning the main SD quest, but when I turn off the patches, which I would like to use, everything goes back to normal. Ideas? I mean I would post load order, or papyrus logs but the console says everything is working fine while nothing is happening in game. Nothing is taken, nothing is added, dialog options are there, but no matter how much I talk back, the animation does not load. **************EDIT***************************** Tried it without SD patches, still no enslaved quest so... got to start stripping out mods until it shows up I guess
Dimmest Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Biggest issue I'm running across so far.. The shiny cuffs never come off. Buy my freedom, earn my freedom, even escape with the option to remove them upon escape don't remove them. I absolutely love this mod though otherwise
