Love the mod and the overall concept, but I must be missing some things.

Hoping someone can help with few answers....

If max Milkmaid lvl is 10, and at lvl 10 you can have up to 5 other milk maids, why do we have player home with some 20+ milk machines ???       Also the milk seams to disappear for me and followers. I am lvl 10 milkmaid with 5 followers as milkmaids, I get updates that they have gained lvls etc. I had mcm set to sell from machine or cuirass, but when i check their inventory and mine there is no septims gained, if i dont set to sell I am only one that had milk etc. in inventory.  And last question...the only time I get updates about follower/milkmaids is when I am not in same cell with them, and if I am in same cell I have never seen a follower actually use the milk machine unless I "forced" them to and then I have to ask them to relax or they will stay in machine forever.   3 of my followers are vanilla npc's, currently 2 are from other mods and I had even started with 3 I had "stolen" from the milk plant that comes with MME.

    Thank You in advance for any help or advice!

When you are in a dungeon, at least certain dungeons (early game, doing get the horn vanilla quest), MME fails to locate prices, and spews a great deal of the following to Papyrus log:

[11/02/2017 - 11:38:30PM] warning: Assigning None to a non-object variable named "::temp123"
stack:
[MME_ECON (20069FB5)].milkecon.GetMarketIndexFromLocation() - "MilkECON.psc" Line ?
[MME_ECON (20069FB5)].milkecon.EndMilkEcoCycle() - "MilkECON.psc" Line ?
[MME_ECON (20069FB5)].milkecon.MilkEcoCycle() - "MilkECON.psc" Line ?
[MME_ECON (20069FB5)].milkecon.OnUpdateGameTime() - "MilkECON.psc" Line ?

While milk is set to update every 3 hours, economy seems to be updating rather more often than that. Every 30 seconds? Is that really necessary?

nope, coz economy updates once per day

any you have something broken

"nope ... something broken" Of course there is something broken. But I think you're suggesting it's my fault just because you never saw this issue before ... yet I played this save for days, without the character lactating, and never got an unexpected log message from any mod (and yeah, I re-check the log at the end of every session, so I can spot broken saves early).

Maybe it is my fault. But with a response like that, I have zero hope of fixing it, don't I?

So what is broken? Could it maybe, possibly, just going out on a limb here ... could it be a problem in MME? A script that should have stopped, but is stuck spinning? Maybe even the economy update? No. Surely not.

I'm simply posting log info. You know the code, and can disagree with the diagnosis, but feel free to explain what MME_ECON (20069FB5)].milkecon.GetMarketIndexFromLocation() does, and exactly under what circumstances it is called? That would at least be constructive or informative, might give a clue as to what is actually happening.

I'll agree 100% that I wasn't seeing economy update messages on the top left - but something is running - and that something is MME, every 30 seconds. Maybe it's not doing it for you, but it might not only be doing it for me. Not everyone looks in their log, and a lot of people that do will have so many other errors that this would pass unnoticed, but I don't have other errors. The only mod that spews into my log is MME.

There's a bug here, in an otherwise bug-free log, in a load order that has practically nothing in it apart from the requirements for MME, simple-slavery, and MME itself, in a master-order-checked, Wrye Bashed game that began with that load order, which has never changed.

Well, I abandoned that save and went back to an earlier one, and haven't seen this spew since, though I'm seeing other, completely different, spew from MME (and again, no other mods have problems), but as reporting errors is clearly unwanted, there's no point posting them here. MME seems to be functioning properly on the surface, the oddities are only in the log.

I didn't ask for a fix. I reported an issue, that's it. Ignore it if you like, but honestly, "nope" as a response, it's not a nice way to encourage problem reporting.

So you can put there 20pcs and fantasize about perverted stuff

Idk

Not sure about septims but milk is added correctly unless you set maid to slave mode, then you obv don't get milk

Milking and progression only happens in same cell, which means you have timesmilkedprogression option or something like that

Install sandbox plugin, and npcs might use milkpumps

well yours cut log doesnt contain a lot of usefull info,  Line ? tells very little

possible solution could be disable and enable economy, though probably wont fix issue

possibly try playing w/o wyrebash patch

error reporting is wanted when it does contain useful info, and not pure guesses

apparently people dont bother with reading what i want from them so they get help, so they get replies they deserve, sorry, im not good at mind reading

There was absolutely zero point me posting the log, because it contained nothing but freeze and unfreeze, then... The lines I posted, repeated every 30s for about 45 minutes (around 90 of them). There was nothing else there. Zip. Nada. That is why I did not post it. Unless you count a few bits of stuff that should be there from game startup, and that I had long before MME was installed (which is entirely SS discovering that SD+ and DA aren't installed, which should be fine).

I would have been 100% fine with zero reply, but what I got? I think I'd rather have got zero.

I thought I would save some bandwidth by not reposting the other near identical (timestamp differs) 90 copies. I guess that just wasted everyone's time.

I didn't remove the line numbers, the ? are the actual log text.

Just imagine for a minute, this was a tediously common problem, everyone would have said "hey, idiot, you didn't run bodyslide" (not likely to be the cause in this case, I grant).

Or more likely, "hey, idiot, don't Wrye Bash MME". Or "ignore LOOT and put MME last in your load" or some other thing...

If it's not something you see often / ever before, fine. I'll put it down to Wrye deciding it was safe to merge MilkModNEW Zaz.esp. Maybe that doesn't work so good?

The obvious fix (for me) is to remove MME from my load order. Any problems I have after that are definitely not MME's problem.

.........well those few bits of stuff can have critical information but it seems you know better...........

sorry for hurting your feelings, im sure 1 day we all become better persons

well you thought wrong

yes, you didnt, afaik its caused by lack sources installed

Ed...

Next time you get into changing/editing this, is there any chance you could use ShortName in the descriptions? When you have Jordis The SwordMaiden as milkmaid, the descripotions are kinda long :)

I use it in dialogue in places. It can be used in messages...title and message text, topic prompts (but not infos), quest log entries, etc.

<Alias.ShortName=AliasName> -- the short name if it exists (otherwise just uses the normal full name)

In CK for character there is a entry for their name (Jordis the Sword Maiden) and also for Short Name (Jordis)

Not all characters have short name, but it will just fall back to their full name if they were created without a short name.

I have been playing with the mod for a few days and it has worked rather well for me. I think the only issue I have had is figuring out the settings and setting it up to suit my needs. It is well done overall.

I am looking at doing an addon to Captured Dreams that would make use of MME seeing as I make use of the milking machines in a few spots (embassy quest and chaste spouse) and have some ideas for some other uses as well. It will likely be a separate esp from CD, the changes I am looking at are more than what a soft dependency can do. Overall I am looking at making custom milkers that handle both the functions of yours and mine, dialogue adjustments, create a stable and pen and some other quest options. Not sure when this will get made but it will at some point.

I am looking at including 3 scenarios within CD:

1- Chaste Spouse - Whomever is the slave of the relationship can be made into a milkmaid. The milking machine in Chaste Spouse would be made compatible with MME and would likely be the binding version (all scenarios would use the binding machine). This would also likely require Hearthfires so a stable, milker and pen could be set up for you at whichever house you choose to use.

2- Bad End to Property Slave - instead of being banished to wherever, bound and with your gear nearby, you would be made a milkslave at the CD grounds. This would involve adding a stable, miking machines and a penned in area to keep you in but that would be your life though I am considering having you be sold to Elenwen after a period of time (see #3).

3- Bad End to Property Slave Alternate - you would be sold to Elenwen to serve as her personal milkslave and playtoy and live in the Embassy Solar basement (where you were kept during the CD Embassy quest). I would give an option to be able to escape though it would not be easy. Any gear you had prior to this would be gone.

If you became a property slave the hard way by earning it and were a milkmaid already you would likely be tossed into the Bad End immediately.

If this expansion is installed then after the Embassy quest the assistant that was put into the milker would be sent to CD and placed in the pen, if you went through the Bad End and stayed at the CD shop then you would be stable mates.

If I did these they would not be short term and other than #3 you would be stuck with no way out. In #1 your spouse would likely come play with you from time to time and in #2 some of the CD slaves may be allowed to make use of you.

Sounds like a great add-on!

It will take some time before I do it. I have several projects currently in line but it may be something I can start and add each of the options individually between regular CD expansions.

Forced milkmaid/slave would be an awesome feature. I dont think perm lock would be such a good idea, kinda game ender. Who would log into their skyrim game just to look at their ass locked into milk machine.  A thought I had if possible, sort of a work release...towards the end of your sentence when "released" from the pen you would be forced to return once a day to be milked.(sex slaves has similar concept when volkar wants you back once a week and if you dont show up he forces you back)  Maybe even have npc punish you before or during milking if your late.   Just some thoughts, use if you want.

Posted

Well, I could switch it to something like this:

1 - Chaste Spouse - it would use the bound milker and you would be put on it until you were dry. You would be allowed to leave if you want and go do something but you would have to either have nipple clamps or a bra on if you do so when you wanted milked again you had to come back.

2 - Property Slave - From the start of Property Slave you would start each day by being milked in the morning then go on to do your normal routine. The pump would run until you were either dry or were on there for a certain amount of time (about 6 hours) whichever came first. You would be clamped or have a bra put on the rest of the time. When sent on quests you would be clamped or have a bra as well. During the post tasks out by the road you would be put into a milker while waiting for a customer to come and enjoy a 'free sample'. The milking could extend into Manor Slave as well. There would be adjustments made to the quota's for each stage.

3 - Bad End - You would be given to Elenwen to use and abuse as a personal cow and play toy. There would be opportunities to escape during this, probably several but you would have to work at it (there would be multiple stages to the different escape possibilities). The Skyrim embassy quest would need some changing if you were her cow before you do this quest to disguise you, likely a spell that altered your appearance for a set amount of time. After that was up, who knows what would happen.

The only change I would have to make to the milkers is have a version that had a maximum time limit.

I got to a point in my game that I could end up in the bound milker all day if full even with it set to 5 seconds for feeding, 10 seconds for milking and turned off the fuck machine. The hourly milk production amount was set to half of the standard and lactaid was set to 2.5 and I still produced just over 100 units of milk in 12 hours and was finally dry. That was set with no limit to how much you could hold and the amount you made an hour was enough that towards the end you would think you would be finished but it would update and have more added. It was enough that you had to be nearly dry at the last update as the production amount was just low enough that it could be milked in under an hour so you could just make the cutoff finally.

There are people who would, Though as a last resort maybe that feature wouldn't be too bad but that would have to be the worst ending possible for a character, unless maybe... adding a struggle system to it kinda like the dd armbinder? where you have a chance to break free idk just brainstorming.

Hello Ed,

It seems some of my posts disappeared even thiough I posted them after the forum move. You even answered one, but that disappeared too.

1) The first was about a Milk Pump problem. It seems if Fuck Machine is part of the milking cycle, then Feeding adds only 1 unit of Lactacid in each turn and Milking won't start until the Maid is full with Lactacid. So this slows down the milking process tremendously. If There is no Fuck machine, then the Feeding feeds more Lactacid, so everything is fine. This happens with the fancy bondage milk pump in my current game.

2) Some of the preplaced Milk Pumps has really wonky activators (I'm using the Fancy(B) versions). Sometimes it is really hard to find them, you have to aim to very small and specific places to make them work. At some places it was so hard to find it, that I went and Disabed it from console and added a new one. I really like the ones where you build some small area for them.

3) I have a custom NPC follower, who I made into Milkmaid. When I tell her to use the Milk Pump (I need you to do something...), she uses it but all her clothes stay equipped.

@Veladarius

I'm glad you think about including it into your mod. Captured Dreams is in my load order more often than not.

Have a nice day,

M

Myself, I could not picture all the hours spent in a game just to end up with a save that all I did was be locked in a milkpump, but maybe your right, there are ppl that would be fine with that. I do like your idea of struggling to get out, even if it is very slim odds, eventually you could/would escape and be able to continue with the game.

I also think all these random thoughts being thrown out there would make a rather awesome mod !!!!  MME being not the most profitable of time spent could use a "reason" to be "forced" into it, and who doesn't like being "forced" into something they know they want anyway lol  and I think combining it with CD would also expand that mod and obviously add new content so that ppl will finally (re)try it.  So many possibilities available !!   I am very interested where it all leads and look forward to the time I can download and check it out !!

well escaping is easy to do, just make hotkey, say space, and set chance 5% to release player

                Game.EnablePlayerControls() ;(True,True,True,True,True,True,True,True,0)
                Game.SetPlayerAIDriven(false)
