SexLab Sex Slaves 6.2 December 06, 2016

Modified the home page and added two new Labia Exciterxxx files.

I modified the home page to remove the references to Alicia Painslut in the requirements section.  (Thanks swmas for pointing this out.)

Alicia Painslut has never actually been a requirement except that there were references to her in some dialog.  That dialog was removed in the 5.1 version.  However, at least understanding her story is helpful before reading Mia's Journal (on the bedside dresser in the palace) for immersion purposes.

I also added a new section concerning Newmiller Jewelry and uploaded two new files related to them.  Special thanks to Pinute for his work.  What he did was extract the esp from the download leaving just the textures (which are all that are required).  If you are esp constricted, the NOESP versions are for you.  You need only one of the four versions.  If you take the NOESP version, you loose the ability to craft the other Newmiller jewelry.  Other than that, there is no downside.

Here is whatPinute had to say:

I spent some time checking them against the bodies most people use. The CBBE one works just fine with 3.2.3 and 3.3c.  I've tested the UNP archive on the standard  UNP 1.2 body, the UNPB 2.5 and 2.5g bodies, and the UNP HDT body that Devious Devices is using. It works fine for all of them. It also fits on all 4 of the SevenBase bodies.

Thanks again to Pinute for his work on this and sorry it has taken so long to get it tested.  He actually sent this stuff to me back in February.

I also added links to the full versions of 5.1a with names that describe what they do.  Special thanks to nyctophilia and TheDriedFinger for instructions on how to get this done.  nyctophilia was very patient with my ignorance and most helpful.

I have removed the UNBP version to avoid the confusion,  Use UNP instead.

For those of you who are interested, here is a link to the full KS Hairdos.  Not sure how long it will stay up, but here it is.  (Thanks Carida for the link).

Thank you very much for your help.

Piercing UNPB, downloads section, appears as an empty file.

7.zip not decompressed.

PeaZip request a password.

I tried to download the file three times.

OK, I think I have everything you need to start a new game and try this mod.

I leave the list of the last mods installed in the MO (left panel)

Do I have everything you need?

-SexLabFramework
-Non-SexLab Animations Pack ver V2.6
-ZazAnimationPack Main v0605
-ZazAnimationPack Textures v0605
-SOS
-SexLabAroused V16 Loose
-MiasLair V51a Loose
-Piercings for UNP

This all looks fine except that SOS and NSL Animations are not required and NSL is not used.  Sos should be set via it's MCM to limit the papyrus impact, especially if you are using other script heavy mods.

Added FNIS Sexy Moves to the not recommended list.

Some of you guys are gonna hate me for this, but I call them as I see them.  I recently downloaded it and evaluated it's papyrus source.  It uses an old fashioned method of cell scans that runs (by default) every 2 seconds and puts a heavy load on your system.  I love the walks, but the standing idles cause the NPC to kind of float across the floor if the NPC starts moving while the animation is playing.  This one is every bit as bad as the old Lovers Comfort for papyrus load.

Use with caution.

I've been playing with St. Andrew and he's okay. I guess. Kinda miss his original incarnation though.

Any chance of getting his evil twin Amos into the game?

You can still play with the original, just don't set him as dominate.

Thanks for the note about FINIS Sexy Moves.

Also: I deselected the .esp in Wrye Smash, but FINIS For Users still found it.

I had to uninstall FNIS Sexy Move 1.2 to actually get rid of it, based on FNIS for Users.

I'm not seeing this, I'll look into it closer but as long as I don't have it to remember walk assignments I have no issue at all with FNIS Sexy Move. I'm not noticing any papyrus strain from it. And quite frankly at this point I consider it essential.

You get the float across the floor with EVERY SINGLE animation that involves movement, we're talking flying, wings flapping, special ninja jumps, EVERYTHING if you happen to lag when the animationa activates. I NEVER see this on NPCs with FNIS Sexy Move and I've used that mod since it was first released, and I never see this on my own character, but I see it sometimes when flying around with Flying Mod, mostly because I'm moving at speeds fast enough to go from Riften to Solitude in maybe 2-3 minutes and loading all those extra cells is a big strain. You have something seriously wrong with your system if you're seeing that with FNIS Sexy Move, or you didn't run FNIS properly.

And what is a NOT "old fashioned method" to figure out which female character is in your vicinity?

And from where do you know that GetNthRef called on the surrounding actors called every 2 sec is so bad? Have you tested that? Any measures?

Why do you think this post was necessary? Did you put all mods on your "not recommended list" that do such nice things like "busy waiting"? Or numerous lengthy waits in their MCM scripts?

I always appreciate if someone gives suggestions for improvement, privately or open. But a post like this? So if you want a feud it's ok with me.

Guys, easy.

Nobody is saying that ANY other mod is a no go. Well unless someone would go crazy and make a mod that conflicts with everything - that is a no go... anyway.

What is said here that some mods that use this "old fashioned" ways can be script heavy.

Installing too many of such mods will affect game stability - in a way that is impossible to predict.

That's why - use them with caution pls. In a sense - dont go crazy with them. Do not install too many of them.

So Fore - we're sorry if you got offended. It wasn't anyone's intention.

We love you. Now and always  :D

I am not seeing this either.  I noticed nothing different on my machine with Sexy Moves loaded.  It all worked perfectly.  As a matter of fact, I can load nearly anything including the old Wet and Cold and not see any issues.  However, because I was looking at the code for another project, I noticed a coding choice that I know to be problematic after extensive previous testing.  My mention of this is in no way a negative tick on Sexy Moves.  It is a great piece of work.  It is however one more mod that uses a scripting method that will result in papyrus overloading when combined with other mods.

I think you are probably right about EVERY SINGLE animation, because I tried two and got the same results from both.  It the idle animation started and you forced the NPC follower to move by running off, the floated until the animation completed.  Not likely this is my machine.  It is state of the art and I run my heavy enb at 90fps when not constrained.  And, If I had not run FNIS before, the animation would not have played.  Note that this is not random NPCs, I was testing on followers where I could make them run when I wanted to.  If you are using Sexy Moves and a follower is in the middle of a standing idle animation and you take off running, she will float after you (at least that's what happened to me 100% of the time).

Let's stop talking about about the idle animation floating away. I know that, and it was my decision to release FNIS with this "serious bug". I love Dragonfly's idles very much, and I wanted to distribute them to a wider public. Unfortunately there is no (or, I didn't find it) easy way to get informed when a dialog is finished. So I just did let the animation finish despite sliding. Why not? Is it "immersion breaking" for you? Then why didn't you simply replace the animation file? Or wait until the animation is done? If I had known that this is one of 2 reasons to call FNIS SM being "every bit as bad as something" I had never dared to release it that way.

The other issue with the "old fahioned method". What the hell is old fashioned about a method introduced by SKSE (GetNthRef)? More old fashioned then the standard Skyrim aliases that you have proposed in your mail? Ridiculous, isn't it? Starting/stopping a quest with at least 10 aliases every 2 sec (4 sec is a misconception) is so much more efficient? I just don't believe you. And besides, as Sacremas indicated, I don't see any reason to be worried about FNIS SM performance.

But all that is not important. What makes me mad is the style of your post. That should NEVER EVER happen between seasoned modders.

Todo esto se ve bien, excepto que SOS y NSL animaciones no son necesarios y NSL no se utiliza. Sos debe establecerse a través de MCM es para limitar el impacto de papiro, especialmente si usted está utilizando otra de guión mods pesados.

I started a new game with all installed.

SexLab Sex Slaves seem to work, I got the MCM menu, and I have handed a note saying go see the Jarl.

NSL have it installed because some mods ask it as a requirement.

SOS is not necessary to play Sex Slaves?

And what is a NOT "old fashioned method" to figure out which female character is in your vicinity?

I guess "Old Fashioned" is not the correct choice of words.  This methods was discovered and used when SKSE came out and is newer.

And from where do you know that GetNthRef called on the surrounding actors called every 2 sec is so bad? Have you tested that? Any measures?

I tested this extensively on three programs.  In all cases, using aliases was at least 10 times faster.  In one case where there were lots of conditions to check which used factions, it was 30 times faster.

Why do you think this post was necessary? Did you put all mods on your "not recommended list" that do such nice things like "busy waiting"? Or numerous lengthy waits in their MCM scripts?

If you look back in this forum, you will see that I have reported and debated many other mods and all were discussed freely.  I did you single out yours.  As I said, it is a great mod.  But, if players are having problems getting vanilla combat packages to run, they need to start looking for mods they might scale back on to get their game to run right.

I always appreciate if someone gives suggestions for improvement, privately or open. But a post like this? So if you want a feud it's ok with me.

I have no interest in a feud.  I respect and admire your work.  More importantly, I am not dissing Sexy Moves.  I use it myself.  I was merely pointing out that Sexy Moves has a large script that runs every 10 seconds by default.  In my testing, it consumes about 2.3 seconds of a papyrus thread every 12 seconds with the default settings.  By itself, that is not much, but that is significant part of the total available before problems start setting in.

I hope everyone understands that I am not dissing Sexy Moves.  As noted above, I use it myself.  However, it does impose a significant load on the papyrus engine.  This is particularly true in highly populated areas.  I can run it just fine on my minimally loaded game.  So can you if you are careful which mods you use.  But, if you are having problems, be aware that Sexy Moves might be part of your problem.  It will almost certainly not be the main cause however.

I've still never seen it on NPCs, and I've had that mod installed since I got it on. Maybe it's on companions but I'm not making a habit of running backwards so I can actually see my companions running behind me. Sexy Wench bandits, vampire girls, anything, never seen it with them.

No, SoS is not a requirement.  However, you at least need an erection mesh.  I personally used favored souls.

That is exactly what I did (run backwards) because I was trying to find a way to make aroused NPCs do an idle.  Trust me, that is what happens.  Note that I had to enable the "Choose the Animation" and pick one of three that had a sexy idle animation.  Forget which ones.

Also please keep in mind I tend to have maximum modded games with 220+ mods active at all times, every single texture in the game replaced, AI replaced, extra NPCs, and so on and on. I never even had a problem I could trace back to Sexy Moves with runnign Open Cities. I had framerate drops yes but never any scripts failing that wasn't due to Open Cities silliness.

is a papyrus size (i viewed it through save cleaner) of over 100 mb bad for an over 220+ mods game? i am not getting any significant script lag with my current config. but i am wondering why it got this large. the small cell i keep testing at the moment has me and two other npc's only.

opinion?

would like to add that i recently been busy removing equipping overhaul, wet and cold and lovers comfort-source:(read sexlab sex slaves description). because you said that they are too demanding and unstable. hope that this was the right thing to do.

No, I don't want to discuss with you in PM. You needlessly pillored a one year old mod, and I have no intention to discuss with you a possible performance improvement just because you think it's appropriate. Where do we end when everyone thinks he should judge publicly other mods based on his alleged knowledge?

I have no intention to delay FNIS 5.5 one more day in favour of an annoying discussion.

I only run about 40 - 60 mods.  With that said, my logs for half an hour of play are 85K.  100 megs seems like a lot.

Some of this will come from mods that write informational messages in the log.  I would scan the log with notepad and look for errors and especially stack traces.   If you have stack trace dumps, you have papyrus overload and you will eventually crash.

After re-reading your "I viewed it through save cleaner", it might be that you are referring to your save game.  If that is the case, it will increase slowly as you level.  A level 50 save for me is about 1.2 Meg. and that is without Dawnguard or Dragonborn dlcs.

oh so they progressively increase in size as you continue to play. hmm.   stack trace dumps you say? i remember seeing that somewhere.

where's the log located and how do i share it?really would like a professional to take a look at it,to give me an idea what the culprit is. p.s it makes me sad to see you two quarrel :(

As much as I want, I do not find.

Play with a female character and SOS seems a heavy mod.

For me, papyrus scripting is like a lake. Every mod that has scripts is a pump that uses the resource (water), when the resource is low scripts misfire, the game glitches, freezes etc.. When the resource is depleted, CTD. It's a balancing act. You're going to have scripts that scan cells, do condition checks and temporarily take over the game in scripted scenes. Depending on your system specs and the number of scripted mods installed, there must be a balance between mods that recycle the resource and don't affect each other negatively by not using large amounts of the resource at the same time.

There's no getting around the fact that this mod uses a large amount of resources at times, especially during the scripted cut scenes. Hence the need for users to be aware of other mods that impact the overall resource load. I also consider this mod a WIP, with the various beta versions and the fact that new scenes/quests are added periodically and/or rewritten. I also have total confidence in Fishburger's, Aqqh's scripting abilities to fine-tune this mod like a well oiled machine.

I use many of the mods on the remove/caution list without any anomalies/problems in combination with this mod and other Sex Lab mods. So to me, it's just a heads up, these mods use lots of resources, be aware of it and have a nice day.

It's a good analogy but I'm afraid Skyrim's "lake" is more like the kiddie pool in your back yard. It works great for your kid and her friend to play with, but add their big fat friend doing divebombs and, well there goes the pool. Lake makes it just sound like it's a lot more robust than it tends to be. Or maybe I just have a lot of big fat chicks over too often....
