I'm having some issue with the catsuits being worn by the 2 girls at the bar and those sold at the Inn.

I think some sort of shine texture or something is missing.

In my inventory however, they look like they should. With the proper shine to them.

 

In the following screenshot you will see the 2 girls with pretty much pitch-black catsuits and me wearing a blue one, bought from the Inn.

I'm using Mod Organizer 2, so I tried making a second profile only enabling the minimum to load Devious Devices 5 and Devious Cursed Loot 9 and the issue was the same.

 

One very odd thing I noticed was that, if I create new test character (by using coc whiterunorigin from the main menu for example) and then add the Black Ebonite Catsuit (1603D2C4 in my game) to my inventory with the console and then try to equip it, it looks completely normal, as it should.
Then I used coc to go to the Inn, saw the 2 girls still having the problem. Bought that same black suit (it had the same ID) from the vendor in the Inn and that too had the same problem.
I thought maybe going outside might make a difference, so I used coc to go back to whiterun and they still had the problem.
Then I threw everything that I had away on the ground and added the exact same catsuit to my inventory using the console as I'd done at the start. Strangely enough, it now DID have the bloody issue, when it didn't at the beginning of this test.
So somehow, something about the Inn seems to create this issue for me.

 

As a side-note Laura from the mod Laura's Bondage Shop also wears a catsuit that has the exact same issue. So this might not be an issue with DCL, but with the catsuits themselves, but I have no clue how that works.

 

I haven't added a papyrus log to this, because I didn't think that would show anything at all related to this problem. If I am mistaken with this, I can see about creating one.

I managed to fix the texture issue - I reinstalled the mod, and used the 1024 textures rather than the 2048, and everything seems to be showing up again now!

I've now tried starting a new game as normal with Live Another Live before doing the same test I described in my earlier post, This time all the catsuits I tried wearing myself DID look as they should. Sadly, the 2 girls behind the bar were still not fixed.

 

EDIT: After saving that game and then reloading it, the catsuits I was wearing lost it's shine and went back to being problematic. I have no idea how this shine stuff works, but this seems very weird behaviour to me. But hey... I guess that's Skyrim for you.

Bugs encountered so far marked with a - the * are ideas/tips

-After completing the 'Supply and Demand' quest while working down the 'Bound in Skyrim' quests the dialogue for the new Inn that the Dollmaker should say bugged out (hangs and after a while the dialogue just stops). So I had to start the quest myself.

-Yoke not removed after the 'Escape Room' game

-To much lights in the new Inn causes black floor tiles. If to many light radius collide or to many in a single cell you get black spots. Perhaps removing some light sources, there is also a max of shadow casting lights in 1 cell

*Many DD NPC's in 1 cell. For performance sake perhaps moving the "sexing" NPC's and "vendors" to a separate cell to also help in preventing CTD's caused by script load on slower rigs.

*The ultra tight straitjacket has a very hard to reach lock but also a key break chance. Might be a bit to much to have both.

 

-On the prison quest doing the same job twice results in the objective not getting displayed. This can be fixed by forcing the display like this MyQuest.SetObjectiveDisplayed(15, abForce = true)

-When the guard has finished with you in the pillory he just stands there, one time he was to close and got damage by the furniture refreshing (just Skyrim things?). Perhaps letting him walk back to his regular spot after the scene can remedy this

*Had the idea of a random chance when at the end of the day when you enter your cell the guard decide a belt and some plugs are required. Just because they can :P

After doing some poking around in the CreationKit. It looks like the ARMA object for the rope armbinder for this quest (Assuming dcur_ltr_ropebinder_inescapable_rendered is indeed the right one, this would be dcur_Armbinder_RopeBlackAA) has the "zadx_rope_BlackTS" texture set to the hands, as well as all the ropes, which is presumably why the hands show up black. At a guess, it was only supposed to be applied to the ropes, and Kimy got trigger happy with the texture applying ?.

 

Edit: In retrospect, this seemed potentially more offensive than playful (the latter being intended, the former not so much), so...No offense intended! Just trying to help out a bit.

@Everyone who reported bugs or made suggestions. I have seen and read all of your postings, I just can't write a reply to each and every one of them. Rest assured that all these bugs and ideas went on a looooong list of things I have to look at, so nothing will get lost! :)

Press E, it'll pop a menu to struggle out

SE bug for DCL cell names - @Kimy don't know if you saw this from the SE thread. As I recall, this is an SE only issue, and the save is still there, it's just not present under the character name.

 

A little bug report of sorts:
Since the Dagonar Prison cells have underscores in them, saving in prison breaks the character "folders" in saves - the saves no longer appear under the character name, but only in the all saves list. This can of course be fixed userside by replacing the resulting "00000000" in the savefile name with your character's corresponding sequence from a previous save. I don't know if changing cell names would break stuff and be a lot of extra work, but it would be nice if it worked :) Other DCL cells don't have underscores and no save problems - for example, DawnstarDCURDollmakersHouse or UstolfsPartyRoom, while the prison is dcur_prison_basement or dcur_prison.

@Kimy mild bug report on DCUR for you. First off the premium line gag doesn’t show up on the PC when the Dollmaker equips it for Courier in Chains. The PC’s mouth pops open, the gag effect goes on, but no gag is visible. I tried running Bodyslide and Fnis just in case but got nada. Also at the end of Courier when I returned to the shack, the Dollmaker was sequestered behind the other shack door, the one that supposedly leads to her bedroom, and wouldn’t come out no matter how long I waited for her. I eventually had to resort to physically moving her via ref id to get her out as the console command for clipping is, I think, disabled. My suggestion would be remove the door if you can or put an actual room behind it that can be opened. Oh, I also just had a bound girl get released from everything but her yoke too. Otherwise so far so good and you’re a filthy sadist. ?

I followed the quest line of the Dollmaker up to "learning the ropes". The conclusion of the quest was the hobble/rope harness and that I should return to the Dollmaker. However I could not use the carriage outside of Markath. I could talk to the coachmen, but I could not activate the coach. Walking from Markath to Dawnstar in a hobble restraint is a bit much I think.

 

Otherwise good work, keep it up! Love your mod.

I just had the same problem where the coachman wouldn’t send me back. I ended up having to move myself to the shop’s cell location via console commands. Maybe have Bogran send you back automatically much like Nazeem did?

Hi Kimy,

 

As I keep enjoying the Chloe quest at my usual slow progress in the game, here's a tiny (but slightly amusing) typo report:

- right after freeing Chloe in the Helgen dungeon, there's a "r" missing in "farther down in the dungeon" -- sadly I don't quite remember if it was in Chloe's dialog or the following quest status update

 

And in case there's still some room on your list of feature requests and ideas: what do you think about a rescue quest for the three captives in the slavers' hideout in Riften? The slaver in Riften is still alive, so it would one would have to kill him first and then free the three captives. And maybe escort them or one of them home?

Hi @Kimy, thanks a lot for the cool beta. ? Two things I noticed:

First:

I just attacked a guard in Whiterun, then yielded, then tried to puppyeye my way out, and it actually worked. He said I was too cute to rot in a cell. I was like, cool, let's head off then. And he immediately started atacking me, again. ?

 

Second, more important - since it happens way more often:

I was atacking the dude from riverwood trader, yielded, and he wanted to send me to Dagonar. But while the enprisonment worked, he decided a quick rape would be nice. So he got teleported to Dagonar and the guards there, well.. they didn't like him...

Suggestion: as soon as the enprisonment starts, disable rape? This happend quite some times now, and each time, it breaks the game, because some other dude also gets teleported there who doesn't belong there.

Or maybe make it so the rape finishes and then the teleport starts. The rape was from DCUR.

I was wearing the exhibitionist suite.

I’ll have to give that a try myself because the gag issue keeps happening with me too when it didn’t in 8.5. Of course there goes my hope of sneaking up on Nazeem and locking him in an armbinder and gag. ?

I did some more testing and confirmed that it was actually both DD for Him and Beast races DD that caused the issue in my case. Try removing DD for Him and see if that works initially but don't be surprised if you have to remove both DD for Him and Beast races DD to get DCL to work properly.

@Skullered: Any idea if this can be confirmed, and if yes, what's causing it?

Hi @Kimy here are some more details about this issue that I found through my testing so that you and Skullered can track down what is causing this issue.

 

The issue occurs when both DD For Him and Beast races is installed using DD5 installer. When DCL is installed and you go in game all the gags that are added using DCL do not appear on the player character when they wear them. Even though the gag doesn't visually appear my characters mouth still opens as seen in the pictures I previously showed and the player character is unable to speak to anyone properly which is how the gags normally work. The gag meshes however do appear in the preview for the items in your characters inventory and when you drop the device on the ground they appear on the ground as well and are not invisible.

 

I removed DD For Him and Beast races from my game and the gag meshes worked correctly. I then proceeded to try installing both DD For Him and Beast races again to see if the issue occurred again and it did happen again which suggests that it is a recurring problem.

 

I then proceed to try installing DD For Him but leaving Beast races out of the installation of DD5 and the same issue occurred, I then did the opposite installing Beast races and leaving DD For Him out of the installation and again the same issue occurred.

 

I have not tested to see if it works on any races outside of the wood elf which is the race I used for my main character and I have not tested to see if the issue occurs with NPC's.

 

I hope the information above can help you identify what is causing this issue.

Sorry if this has been posted before, but there's nearly 1000 pages and searching google for keywords can't get me specific pages like it usually can. Cursed Loot is working fine for the most part, except in every scenario it's applying full sets as if I had always force full set enabled despite having "Minimum and maximum number of items per container" set to 1 and 2 respectively.

 

Any suggestions would be much appreciate~

Funny, I always had a different idea. The next time you get back to Riften and talk to the lizard lady inn keeper she is mad at you. Little John eventually woke up, he came upstairs and demanded to know what happened. The other patrons were quick to turn on the innkeeper, she let her go, so she needs to keep her promise to make you pay if it ever got back to her. So I thought of a continuing in Riften, not to help those slave's but to be there with them or some other punitive measure.

having a bit of an issue with beat race refits. gags didn't get "refit" when I installed DCL bata. fixed that issue by just loading DRR plugin after DCL.  

 

The main issue is that items from DCL aren't getting refit.  standard devices are fine, since they are taken form DD 5.0. its the quest related gags and special restraints that don't fit properly

Hi, guys. Yet again I have a question about those girls, that were enslaved by "Restraining touch" spell.. or how is it called?..

As I understand - they are given some specific AI which makes them follow you everywhere no matter what! So when you or even they themselves are attaked by some enemy they don't flee, just stand there taking hits.. even if I did "setav confidence 0" for them. So is there a way to.. I don't know how to put it.. stop them from being that stupid and revert to normal behavior? :) Maybe there's some command or whatever to switch them back from that "slavegirl state" back to normal?
