I noticed DCL ignoring my MCM settings in new games until level 3 as of 8.5, if not earlier (I forget when this feature was added offhand). My guess is that the separate list of devices used to pick less punishing restraints for low level characters doesn't check itself against the MCM settings. Things I probably should've posted about a while back, but I was busying being a lurker...

About the QS collection, it seems that chance to find them from boss chests is about 30% in practise. Considering Sarah's set is 5 parts total, you need 5 boss chests x 3 to find them all. It is actually very hard to find that many dungeons! I can only save before opening boss chests, load and loot until i get it 100% that i expected it would already be. Oh and the Supply and Demand will disappear from quest log when continuing with the console command.
Guest Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 I think I found a bug in the "bondage high-low" minigame: after equipping a collar on me (and a lot of other stuff, since I've been a bit unlucky ?), I keep getting the message "it's impossible to wear multiple collars at the same time" each time I lose.

The "Heavy Yoke" came up some time ago as well (several months ago, maybe approaching a year not sure exactly), this yoke is a BlockGeneric device meaning the only way to remove it is via the methods provided by the mod equipping you with it, in this case the courier quest tester86 mentions is the intended way to escape the "Heavy Yoke". However the Heavy Yoke is treated like any of the other generic wrist bindings as far as when it is added to the player is concerned, it is one of 3 "generic" yokes available to be equipped if the random wrist binding rolls yoke, the others being a standard yoke and the breast binding yoke (shouldn't be available during the Escape room due to progressive bondage having already equipped a suit), the chances for rolling yoke is determined by your device weights set in the MCM. When the only way to roll for random wrist bindings was cursed loot traps this disparity of a BlockGeneric yoke being available in Generic device traps was less obvious (but has still made me greatly reduce if not outright prevent the use of random yokes from any mod), but now that it is appearing in a game centered around the removal of generic devices it is a serious issue that needs to be addressed in my opinion. I don't mind the "Heavy Yoke" existing and that it has a quest dedicated to removing it is fun, but the yoke should have its own trap category or some way to differentiate getting it compared to an actual generic yoke.

qawsedrftg765 Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 Suggestion: Would it be possible to move The Dollmakers shop outside of dawnstar, similar to how Laura has her Bondage shop outside of whiterun (If this is already done in 9.0 I cant tell as I am SE only at the moment)? Currently the shop conflicts with many City Overhauls, and I get that it is impossible to make everything compatible with everything. Thanks, can't wait for the SE conversions. Probs looking more forward to DD stuff for skyrim more than most games this year.

Unfortunately I have encountered some technical issues which I am not sure if they are the mod itself or something I did wrong during installation. The problems that I have is when I go into the whip and chain inn the game will sometimes randomly crash. This issue doesn't occur any where else in the game for me so I'm not sure what is causing it. The next problem is that all or the gag textures or models that are added through DCL9 appear to be missing when I put them on my character. They appear on the ground fine and when I look at them in my inventory they look fine but when I put them on my character she does the animation for having a gag in her mouth which is she opens her mouth but there is no visible gag present. Again I am not sure if this is a problem with DCL9 or a problem with the way I am installing DCL9 (I'm installing DCL9 through nexus mod manager and I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the mod multiple times but it doesn't fix the issue). This is not a issue with DD5 as all the gags from that mod work properly. If anyone could give me advise on how to fix the texture or model issue with the gags it would be greatly appreciated.

All looked good. (Heavy purple ballgag and ultra tight straightjacket)

Texture issues don't depend on load order, it's about the files that you installed (in wrong place or wrong way, etc...). @Best1123 Try changing your skyrim pref inis to high quality. Gag's showing "crystal" texture had something to do with missing mipmaps in textures perhaps, too rough optimization routine done by mod devs, i don't know.

That is not a texture issue, it looks like you haven't installed the mesh. Could also be load order issue for DD. Maybe not done Bodyslide batch build? Although maybe gags weren't needed for that... Nope, even the slaver keeps attacking her so i can't deliver (a bandit from Whiterun hold). Also very often their arms get outside the armbinders.

All I can say is that it works good with MO2.
Best1123 Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 @Zaflis I initially thought that it was a mesh issue so I tried manually installing it to see if NMM was the problem but the same problem occurs. I have also checked the meshes file to see if all the meshes are there and they are. I have also tried different load order configurations and that doesn't fix the issue ether. What is also strange is I don't have this issue with DCL8.5 stable version. To me it seams like the mod itself is not using the meshes even though they are present in the files which is very weird. I will do some more investigating to see if I can find a problem.

DD or DCUR can't just be extracted as is, all the folders in the archive are Data folders in different name. You only need to extract some of them, and you need to know which. That's why there is installer files so that your mod manager can do all that for you conveniently. You need to reinstall both DD and DCUR in correct way. Best1123 Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 @Zaflis NMM does support a FOMOD installer as I get that window when I installed it. I normally install it using NMM but as I said in my last post I decided to try it manually as a experiment to see if it could potentially fixed the issue. Believe it or not NMM is still supported at least in a bug fixing capacity as it received a update fixing some bugs it had 2 weeks ago from today. I have done some experimenting and looking at the mesh files and all the other components of the mod to try and identify what is causing the meshes to not appear in game and as far a I can see there is nothing wrong with the meshes of the mod and everything appears to have been installed correctly as per the options I put in the installer (CBBE bodyside, 2048 textures, Documentation and Live another life). What makes it even stranger is that I installed DD5 in the same way as I did with DCL9 and DD5 works perfectly with no issues what so ever which leads me to believe there is a problem with DCL9 itself that is causing this issue. I'm not sure what else could cause this issue so again any help would be greatly appreciated in trying to get to the bottom of this issue.

When the beta ends and the release version is out, I may look at moving to Vortex, as I'll be starting the whole thing from scratch.

To me at least this issue I am having looks like a problem with the mod its self which isn't surprising as it is a beta. It looks like it will be something that Kimy will need to probably fix before the release version is out.

This is not how to report bugs... make a real reproduction case with details. I have not seen any issues with gags in my game so far, so that still leads me to suspect it's only problem in your game, not in the mod. You can check items mesh names in console and then track down their filename and full path. I did it up to suply and delivery and eveyrthing worked up to that point, but the description says it's part of the dollmaker quest And BTW i didn't have much problems with 9.0, the only real problem was with the mcm, but it was easy to fix, and my only critique is about the movement speed. There's just too much reducing our movement speed by a lot. It would be fine if it was only once, but it's in almost every quest and it becomes a chore after a while. 2
