PenBoozerX Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Do we have to complete Leon/Leah quests before getting them to trigger trough Simple Slavery? Turned their probability to max in hopes of bypassing the quest but SS never seems to want to pick their outcome anyways. Are my mods screwy or is the outcome locked behind quest completion?

Pantheress Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Does anyone know how to get rid of the cursed Whore Collar? I've tried console commands, I've tried the FREE ME button... I've tried soliciting, but that never earns me any money and just ends with me getting even more devices applied. I'm about to restart this character out of frustration.

If it says 30, you need to add 70 to reach normal 100. So: player.modav speedmult 70 If in the future it starts going too fast, just use the same command with -70, and check that it normalized to 100. Before other options, make sure your carryweight is a positive number... No amount of speedmult will make you go fast if you carry too much. Editing this worked but now I noticed that non-extreme hobble dresses don't affect my speed at all (Ankle chains do work though). Is it possible I have a lingering buff that was the original cause of the slow, which would be why I cant get a new one? If so, how is that buff named and how can I remove it? Also, could it be related to the lingering "pierced nipples/clit" that I still have even after removing these stuff?

Set generous customer chance to 0%, and you might get stuck in fewer devices while soliciting. Sorry if you tried all of the above, in that case you have a tricky problem. FREE ME!!! really should remove the collar. If it doesn't, that would be either a bug, or your save is broken.

Hobble dresses get most of their effect from forcing you to walk, not from speedmult. The force walk is achieved via carry capacity modification. Add carry capacity and suddenly you can run again. 1

My original bug was that my RUNNING speed was slower as if I have a non-strict hobble dress (while having none), and I only edited speedmult to fix it. It was never a question of walking vs running as far as I could tell. I am quite sure I was always running. Is it possible you mistook my case to the extreme hobble dress?

I'm not an expert on that and i've never experienced a lingering effect bug but you should empty your entire inventory to a chest, and then use console. Select player and use "showinventory" to see what you have and "player.removeitem" to rid of them. You might have an ID for devicehider, don't remove that. The console should also list all the active effects on player btw. You can also try giving yourself a full set of restraints, put them on 1 by 1 and then remove them normally with keys and normal game mechanics. It might refuse to wear some of them and restore the already existing hidden items... or not. You'll at least get an idea of which body slots are the issue. Can you wear other hobbledresses and remove them with keys normally? You can temporarily set DCL rules all sorts of different to make it faster, such as that every npc you walk past will offer you to remove all your restraints. Then load back settings you had before.

The nipples are definitely free, I can normally equip other piercings or clamps on them just fine. I still have this lingering buff. even if I equip and remove them. These buffs alone don't really matter to me, as they don't seem to have any actual effect on my PC, but I was just thinking their existence makes it quite sensible that another effect is lingering which is the soft-hobble of a non-strict dress. Couldn't find any effect like that even via the console menu, though...

What I always do to solve these problems is: First of all, try to store or sell all the DD items in your invertory. Some items might fail to sell or be stored and this failure will reconnect the invetory to your invisible version. If this does not work: 1. unequip everything via invertory, so that when you are in the invertory tab, it seems like you have nothing equipped. 2. console player.inv and look for all IDs that are "worn" on you. They will all be nameless. 3. console player.additem every one of these IDs plus or minus up to 4 into your invertory. It is not always the same address gap between the equipped ID and the invertory ID, far as I could tell, so for example, if you have a worn 0B07562B2 you might need 0B07562B6 or 0B07562AE or anything in between, just not 0B07562B2 itself. Most commands will give you the message "Added" which means you didn't hit the item, but eventually you will see the name of your invisible item such as "Added heavy yoke". Remember which ID gave you that message. Once you have determined all the IDs that you actually need to add, you may wish to reload a save back in order to avoid filling your inventory with empty items. 4. console player.equipitem for the ID which gave you the inventory item of your invisible gear and put. Remember to set the second parameter to 0 and not to 1. Then you can remove it normally like a locked item (maybe console a few restraint keys if you don't wish to wait to get them). 5. In order to test that the item was removed, click any restraint which consumes the same spot. If you get the dialogue to either lock it on or carry on, it was a success. A way to realize you have this bug is to watch for any error message during a DCL event. If you have a warning that an item can't be equipped because the slot is taken, you have the bug. A specific exception to that is when you get the chain harness or any other set while already having a spot or two (usually a collar) occupied by an invertory-visible item. But I advise reloading as save in that case as well because the new item (for example, the nipple chains) might and up being the one stuck bugged. Also, it is possible to click bondage items in your inventory and then choose to carry on and not equip them. If you got the option to either put it on or carry on, the slot is free. If you get the error that you can't wear it simultaneously, then either the slot is occupied by a good item (in which case you should notice it) or by a broken item (and the attempt to equip should make that broken item visible on your character). I do this check every once in a while through my gameplay, just to remain safe. I always rather reload a few minutes back rather than be bothered with my 5 steps, if it is only a few minutes lost. I gave you the 5 steps because it seems you have had this for a while and might prefer not losing progress, step 2 and 3 are quite tedious after all. The bug usually happens after a combat surrender which didn't break combat, or basically every DCL event that seemed to release control back to the player sooner than usual. Also if you accidentally opened your inventory during a DCL event and got asked about putting one of the items as if you tried to manually lock yourself, it is a good idea to reload the save rather than bother with the consequences, and next time wait patiently until you are sure nothing else is about to get equipped. Also avoid opening more than one container per second (harversting included), because it seems to be very likely that two will fire at once if you are too fast, which can cause such trouble if both events are bondage (though I have to say, getting raped by estrus with a straightjacket as a result of this speedlooting mechanic looks very hot. I think the non-tentacle estrus shouldn't rip straightjackets if possible ) Thank you. I will try this next time it happens. And it gives me a pointer, when to quit and load an earlier save game.
lazertomato Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Having some weirdness with the rape/defeat mechanic. I get down to the threshold, the "you can't keep fighting" or w/e, and I get sort of... stun locked? I just keep recoiling backwards endlessly like i've been staggered. Only way out of it i've found is to disable rape altogether at which point the recoiling stops and i just die.

And I know now that I need to change one thing in my playthroughs: I use an autolooter, that picks up plants very fast. My guess now is, that if he triggers two traps very fast in succession, the scripts blows the cursed loot equips out of the water. I am pretty sure that these item come from cursed loot traps, btw. That is the reason I try now an older version of cursed loot, and not the actual even less stable "beta". I will try a session without using the autolooter now and after that I will look into my inventory. At the moment it looks like a swiss cheese of nameless items. After an attack with an machine pistol ... 100 bullets fired into it ... my almost new save game inventory is already an accident that will happen soon .... again. I think you should stress out in your main page, in the FAQ that using an autolooter is NOT advised at all, if you value an uncorrupted inventory in your save games ... Thank you again for your hints. I did not even know that it is possible to equip incomplete, corrupt items. under some circumstances. We learn every day something new. It's a Bugthesda game, after all .... At laast now, after I broke my Skyrim installation literaly in half two weeks ago, I have now the most stable version I ever had of this game. P.S. Oh, you can test this regulary with "Devious Devices equip", Load an outfit. and try to equip it on an DD "empty" char . If it succeeds, your inventory is OK. If you get the "I cannot equip message, because slot is already used", you're screwed. -> it is load an older save game time. It's faster than equiping all items by yourself for a test.
Kimy Posted April 10, 2019 Author Posted April 10, 2019 That plant autolooter is SPECIFICALLY listed in the ReadMe as being problematic with DCL. Not sure why I wrote that ReadMe. Or what people think I wanted to tell them by including a file literally named READ ME. Quote Magical Harvest-a-Tron: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15899/?: Accesses a lot of plants super rapidly and can thus cause significant script lag when used with DCL. The best part obviously is when people don't read the documentation and then complain about their problem not being mentioned there, despite it is. *sigh* 1

Also I should like to say that I really, really enjoy your work, you've managed to make a sufficiently interesting gameplay mechanic out of BDSM stuff that it actually adds something to the game, and I laud you for making it as customizable as it is because were it not I (and others certainly) would find it obnoxious or too infrequent. You've created a masterwork, and furthermore you created the first thing that ever got me to bash the bishop to a video game that wasn't a porn game to begin with! Congrats on that!

CrazyOne Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Hello there. An idea for a new item. The Obedience Collar. When equipped, this collar forces the wearer to comply with anything they are asked or told too do. The outcome of interacting with a npc while wearing this collar could be: 1) The player's character is told by the npc too hand over there items like; all there gold, there clothing or keys ect. 2) A npc asks for sexual intercourse. Sometimes the asking npc will want the player's character to wear bondage items, before; A) Asking for one on one between the npc & the player's character. Sometimes the npc's may give the player's character a choice between oral, anal or vaginal intercourse. B) Telling the player's character pleasure a random npc that's nearby. C) The npc gathers multiple npcs for the player's character to please at once. 3) The player's character is asked to carry out a random task. From the mundane to the humiliating. 4) A npc tells the player's character to strip, maybe followed by a few lines of dialogue along the lines of "These items are going to look great on you" before locking restraints on. 5) The player's character is told to prostitute them self out for a while. After x amount of time the npc returns to the player's character to collect all the money that the player's character earned. 6) Npc tells the player's character to work for free as that npc's servant for a while. Or if the obedience collar would fit better as a unique item for its own quest, instead of having it equipped as a random item. Then as a possible way to start this quest could be: That a mage/scholar is looking to hire a guard to escort them into a ruin or cave, this location is rumoured to contain forgotten documents. After finding the collar in place of any documents the mage/scholar pays the player's character for there aid. After a few days a courier delivers a letter from the mage/scholar, asking for the player's character to meet them. Upon arrival the mage/scholar explains what the collar does & then asks if the player's character is willing to wear the collar, so that the mage/scholar can document its effects. Thus starting the obedience collars quest. A quick question: Will there be any more quests or content involving Chloe? 2
