Talking about custom outfits and a custom event.

Perhaps add an advanced option that allow us to pick devious itens from other mods we have installed. Maybe something where you have to manually write the xx0000 item ID for equipping for advanced users. There are some many mods with awesome itens that I want as traps.

For something more advanced maybe we can have a json where the event/itens can be configured, so anyone can share the setup for a single custom event.

Which mod do you have in mind? I am not aware of any larger collection of -original- restraint items not already supported by DCL (I know there are the re-textures in DD Equip...but...nah!)

It -technically- doesn't let you pick specific items from the database, but more often than not there will be only one item matching your query, if you pass enough tags.

 

DCL never made use of the tag selector though, because it has a few limitations making it not powerful enough for DCL's needs. And if I have to preselect devices anyway, I might as well pick them directly from DD's database (which is how I do it.)

 

In short - yes, it's doable. But it would be work. I keep it in mind. :smile:

DCL's combat surrender is more lightweight and doesn't have THAT many features, but essentially it does the same thing as Defeat. I wrote to replace the DA/Defeat/Captures triad with a more lightweight and stable option (DA caused an endless string of grief in my load order).

 

It does not directly support creatures (none of my mods do), but there is an option that allows you to tell DCL not to filter them (by default it filters creatures), so they will get picked up and passed to SL for using in whatever animations you have set up for it.

Asking for specific support to be added for DCL is a bit too much, since I see your mod as being about devious outfits/devious clothing and not about all the other things.

That was the reason I asked for something configurable.

That was the reason I asked for something configurable.

There is a new Dwarven style restraint is the DD beta. It fully binds your character. But has dwarven arms and legs you can still use instead.

I have no idea how far I will get with this, nor do I know if it's quality enough.
I'm discovered Supertin's DD animation resources recently, allowing animators to get certain DD device poses directly into Max, like armbinders.
I gave it a shot, and this is what I fiddled together in 10-20 minutes.

Obviously low quality, since I made it in 10-20 minutes, don't expect these animations being final :tongue: 

I'll try and make use of as much bones as I see fit (toes and finger movement, etc.) so that nothing looks "static".

 

I read that there is a lack of bound animations that specifically use DD items (I actually haven't seen any yet), so if there is interest in these kind of animations, I'll try my best make an animation with my current knowledge of animating (not much, I tell u that) and see where it goes from there.
 

This will also be a learning experience and hopefully some people are interested so I have a reason to keep going :smile:

Suggestion for next version

 

A new Devious Device event.  Based on MCM chance option.  An enemy arrow hit, by an arrow known as the Harbinger of Devious Doom.   On hit, it deploys a (notional) bolass which applies variants of the new rope harness, arms, legs, full body (on weighted chance in MCM?) etc to the PC and/or followers.  Preferably both as that should minimise any hassle in ending the enemy encounter

 

No real in game arrow needed at all.  Nor a check for each arrow hit either, as could decide at start of any combat whether or not event is in play.  Effectively, it would just be a rare combat event that can restrict the player/followers, partially or even totally.  You could use it as an alternative to total rape/combat defeat too.  Just end the combat, and leave the player/followers where hit, to try to make the best of things from there 

 

Who needs 'fixed traps' when you can maybe build in the equivalent of a Forsworn Drone Strike?

I think a "bolas" trap is a great idea - I think I'd really like to see that as a regular chest trap that specifically equips the new rope bondage gear when triggered.

 

I personally probably wouldn't want a random in-combat event that triggers bondage, but that's personal preference.  I do like mods like Estrus Chaurus since you *know* that chaurus spit attacks can be dangerous, but those are a lot rarer than getting hit by an arrow.

Is there any way to disable restrictive corset? I want the cursed loot to only apply armbinders, ankle cuffs, and gag (also maybe blindfold too) without getting undressed. I tried to set it to zero and it still applied. Granted, I used debug option, not actual chest trigger. If there is no weird clipping with my armor, I might shrugged, but it's not.

 

Additionally, could a gag disable shout? because it's kinda funny lol.

That is currently not possible as far as I know.

I suggested something like this yesterday.

But giving us even more customisation is a lot of work. But she is considering it.

Currently you can avoid a corset by using the Self Bondage event and only having the restraints you want in your inventory.

For SSE we need Nioverride to be ported fully first so DDa/DDi/DDx can be adjusted for Skyrim SE and them DCL can be ported too.

Most of the items are easy to convert to UUNP. Did this already. Took only patience. But I never asked the author to be allowed to upload the BS files... sooo... The Angeli sets are only local...

It's a shame the author has not logged since january 2018 according to their profile. Maybe someday.

I will keep eye on this if it gets updated then. Don't mind about restricting the shout when gagged, I can see it might be troublesome. But I just want the corset option.

So I know it's likely not this main mod, but honestly I don't know which of the requirement ones it is causing it (I have ONLY these required ones installed right now) I have the alternate start addon too, which is what I noticed this with. But when I loaded in to that game, I had the heels, armbinder and gag showing up fine, but the entire of my character's body minus her head was just non-existant. I'm assuming it's a part of the 'clothing' (I cannot be 100% if it was because my computer did an auto-update and force closed on me) because the hobbleskirt text showed up, but this was something I could not see.

 

Which mod is it that's missing/corrupt and needs to be reinstalled?

Make sure that you build every device in bodyslide.

I used to run this mod in earlier versions with no problems,  but for some reason when my character is about to get her face pushed into the sand every NPR just stops and literally disappears and my PC stands upright again with no other animations. I looked at the conflict mod list the only mod I can see might be the dangerously nude reeked mod . Or is this a new bug or something?
