tevishk Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 hey i have been having a problem with public indecency namely i can't get it to work. i have misogyny enabled i have tried with delayed and undelayed arrest i have report chance at 100%. i have tried it with dialogue misogyny and with cursed loot rape chance. i occasional get a note saying that a guard or someone saw the sex act and i get a notice when an npc see the character naked but nothing beyond that. attached is my papyrus log and load order. i tried checking the forum but could not find anything. otherwise this is a great mod and thank you for investing so much time and effort into it. Ashari Posted October 21, 2017 Posted October 21, 2017 My thanks! Reinstalled DDi beta and picked the default animations and it worked. That being said, I also found I had an old 2.x DDi mod in my manager that I overlooked in my last purge. I selected the 2nd option in DDi first, "MaikCG", and still nothing, but swapping to the Cedec0 default set for armbinders worked. Will also confirm that yes, armbinders too were broken and are now fine, I thought I had tested but must have muddled the mod numbers in my head when adding via console. If I do use devious devices development branch, I have forgotten entirely as the name was fully new to me. Well this is awkward, out of the blue, this problem returned. All attempts at reinstalling or swapping animation pack have no effect, too. List all the mods you have - I found that an issue with animations randomly not playing was due to me inadvertently installing two versions of the same one. I then found the tentacles not working in estrus charus due to me being an idiot and not reading to the end of the pre-reqs. I assume that's something from MO which I don't use so I'm not sure what you mean but basically you do not want the esp in your load order. To be sure I use a cut down version with the esp and scripts removed to avoid it accidentally being installed

I do have Even better quest objectives installed also, but again, don't see how that could affect this mod.

My dcl mcm is empty. Doesn't matter if I'm inside or out, waiting for a week, re-installed, removed/cleaned/saved/installed - it stays empty! Well for a start move morenastycritters.esp above sexlabnudecreatures.esp the mods home page here on ll clearly states this but loot always puts it below then unless you set up custom meta data to stop it. You will need to check for sure but the various dshg esps and helmet toggle both do the same thing I think, hide head gear, you may want to only use one or the other. Also pretty sure that LeftHandRings - Dawnguard.esp and LeftHandRings.esp should be the other way around in the load order. xpmse.esp should be pretty much at the bottom of the load order, and unless I missed it there does not appear to be a merged patch anywhere around. Pretty sure that those changes will not help sort this problem out, also just how many esp are in that load order? It could be there are too many things trying to happen at the same time.

My dcl mcm is empty. Doesn't matter if I'm inside or out, waiting for a week, re-installed, removed/cleaned/saved/installed - it stays empty! Edit - tried the jaxonz kicker (and the console line) to no avail! All other mcm's are working normally. Well for a start move morenastycritters.esp above sexlabnudecreatures.esp the mods home page here on ll clearly states this but loot always puts it below then unless you set up custom meta data to stop it. You will need to check for sure but the various dshg esps and helmet toggle both do the same thing I think, hide head gear, you may want to only use one or the other. Also pretty sure that LeftHandRings - Dawnguard.esp and LeftHandRings.esp should be the other way around in the load order. xpmse.esp should be pretty much at the bottom of the load order, and unless I missed it there does not appear to be a merged patch anywhere around. Thanks, always forget about loot moving mnc. dshg does helmets etc for npc's where helmet toggle does it for pc. Didn't know about rings so will try that. I have xpmse last on left pane so has all overwrite priviledge - never had any issue with where it is on the load order but can move it. there are 250 active mods. Agree with you that doubt any of that will affect dcl mcm tho.

Edit - tried the jaxonz kicker (and the console line) to no avail! All other mcm's are working normally. I ran into a similar issue a while back...and discovered (that on my setup at least) there was a limit on how many MCM menus I could actually have. I had various MCM menus (every new game it was a random menu) do exactly like what you are describing Cursed Loot's MCM is doing. by removing a single mod with a MCM menu the problems went away. i do not know if this is what you are experiencing or not. one way to check is to take a mod with a MCM menu and temporarily remove it and start a new game and see if all other MCM menus (and Cursed Loot's) work, then if so try to re-add the mod you removed and if they are not working correctly after it is re-added you would at least have an idea of the problem.

My dcl mcm is empty. Doesn't matter if I'm inside or out, waiting for a week, re-installed, removed/cleaned/saved/installed - it stays empty! Tried moving it below all conflicts on left pane (MO), looked in TESVEdit, and I cannot solve it. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts or ideas (other than don't use it) that I may have overlooked? Edit - tried the jaxonz kicker (and the console line) to no avail! All other mcm's are working normally. I ran into a similar issue a while back...and discovered (that on my setup at least) there was a limit on how many MCM menus I could actually have. I had various MCM menus (every new game it was a random menu) do exactly like what you are describing Cursed Loot's MCM is doing. by removing a single mod with a MCM menu the problems went away. i do not know if this is what you are experiencing or not. one way to check is to take a mod with a MCM menu and temporarily remove it and start a new game and see if all other MCM menus (and Cursed Loot's) work, then if so try to re-add the mod you removed and if they are not working correctly after it is re-added you would at least have an idea of the problem. Sounds like a plan - thanks, I'll let you know if it works. Edit - Disabled a couple of heavy mcm mods and started a new game and all is well! May try adding them back in later, but not too worried - happy trails again lol - Thanks for the tip

My dcl mcm is empty. Doesn't matter if I'm inside or out, waiting for a week, re-installed, removed/cleaned/saved/installed - it stays empty! Edit - tried the jaxonz kicker (and the console line) to no avail! All other mcm's are working normally. Does the Mod "The Kids are Alright" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/83009/? change children to be "not essential" or killable? If so DCUR is supposed to shut itself off if it detects a mod that changes children in this way. Not as far as I am aware. Had dcl running fine with it previously, just the new save it spazzed out. Have disabled a couple mcm heavy mods (not TKAA) and on a new game all is working again. Wonder if there is a limit on how much the mcm can cope with.

And it will be restored, to whatever it was, once the collar is removed.

I believe it is more for gameplay reasons, wearing the collar makes your arousal go haywire (because you are forced to be naked and marked as exhibitionist) which means it is harder to control and you are more likely to trigger other cursed loot events. Since collars don't vibrate/block sex scenes, exhibitionist mode will make your arousal shoot up without wearing other gear.

Ytheria Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 hey i have been having a problem with public indecency namely i can't get it to work. i have misogyny enabled i have tried with delayed and undelayed arrest i have report chance at 100%. i have tried it with dialogue misogyny and with cursed loot rape chance. i occasional get a note saying that a guard or someone saw the sex act and i get a notice when an npc see the character naked but nothing beyond that. attached is my papyrus log and load order. i tried checking the forum but could not find anything. otherwise this is a great mod and thank you for investing so much time and effort into it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. I also have this (or a similar) problem. I get the message "I'm being raped and the guard is watching" (or whatever), but then nothing happens. I've tried with delayed arrest on or off: makes no difference. Log attached. I see "[DCUR] Public indecency: Player is victim" in several places. Papyrus.0.log

That just means the guard saw you, I believe they will only react if you have the Misogyny option selected (aka - a crime even if you are the victim/males will randomly demand sex when you talk to them). They won't interfere otherwise.
