Hi everyone!

I have a problem, may anyone explain me, why, when I triggering DCL trap and gain Steel Shackles om my PC, they are not working. Shackles are not restrict my movement, actually it not working as DD device, so I can equip\unequip it whenever I try, even no DD interface.

 

This can happen with different devices, not just shackles. Did you tried to use the option "free me" in debug section? Sometimes it fixes the problem.

 

 

Actually, what I think is happening in this case is a conflict between shackles and arm cuffs. If you get arm cuffs equipped first (or they were previously equipped), then the shackles won't work. Otherwise the shackles work fine.

 

Tried equip Shackles while not wearing anything, still don't work. I don't see reason for conflict, because arm cuffs doesn't restrict player in any way, but shackles uses same slot as armbinder/yoke, not arm cuffs (as I know).

 

I just checked the esp and it turns out that both shackles and arm cuffs use slot 59, while armbinders use 46.

 

My own testing confirms that shackles do not work properly when arm cuffs are equipped (the arms move into position and the inventory object is equipped, but the rendered instance is not equipped, nor are any other secondary effects enabled).

 

Of course that doesn't help you much since yours aren't working when you have nothing else on. However, given the similar behavior of the shackles, I'd say your rendered instance isn't getting equipped for some reason.

Hey guys, wondering if I can get some help with a crash here. Whenever I talk to Leon/Leah and choose the dialogue to start the quest, I CTD. Already ran FNIS and LOOT, and used the save cleaner. Papyrus logs are attached. If this is the wrong place to post this, just lemme know.

if the cuffs were equipped before the shackles that would have been the source for the problem And much easier to fix - don't need to rest followers , most likely just need to get the cuffs unlocked before resetting the shackles, been a while since I had this, I think that's what I did

you remember the night to remember where the player had a drinking constest if the player enters a inn that has a round table and 4 chairs like in the pic in attachment

 

there would be 3 people at the table and chairs leaving the blank 1 free for the player to use they challange the player to a bet like in the night to remember where the player drinks then passes out

 

when the player wakes up she finds herself behind the inn wearing a armbinder plugs and harness and ankle chains with a note on the floor near her to read

 

the note would say something like we placed your gear in a chest in the town center but only 1 of us has the key if she guesses the wrong person through chat the plugs kick in and the person runs off leaving the other 2 in the city to find

 

when the player finds the right one they give her the key then run off to a diffrent town to wait for the next inn so it wouldnt be bound to 1 city

 

 

the more times it happens ie say if the player trys to win the second drinking contest and fails she gets another item equipped to the list

 

first bet = armbinder

second bet = armbinder and 1 of the piercings

 

 

and so on so it gets slightly harder when the blindfold comes into play in the quest

 

 

for the talk options it could have for chat

 

 

i can handle 1 beer

i can handle 2 beers

i can handle 3 beers

 

and so on more beers increases the chance of losing the bet and waking up with the find the 3 people quest

 

with the dialogs from your mod it could give more options for chat like npc could say looks like they couldnt handle there beer or something like that

that sounds fun, what mod is that

Thats true. I always wondered why the shackles didnt take the slot of the arm binder insiead of the arm cuffs

So there are nearly 400 pages here please don't blame me for not looking through all of them.

 

Doing the leon follower thing and I'm in Ustolf's mansion.

 

I can't find the boots and spawning in some does nothing for moving the quest on.

 

After 2 hours of looking I have to ask where they are.

Without a doubt a wonderful mod. Though lately a issue has arrised. The cursed loot triggers but it doesnt actuallly apply itself on my character of some reason.

Are you already wearing devices?

Also, have you looked at the settings? You could've enabled the worn restraints threshold or disabled too many devices.

 

Also enable debug messages and tell us what it says.

 

And please post a papyrus log.

Feedback on Bound Queen quest

 

 

The technical part worked without any problem. The quest updated and ended as expected.

 

There are 2 small typo bugs in the last quest objective in the Journal.

 

Other opinion is in under spoiler, for obvious reason.

 

 

 

I really liked how the quest started, finding that book and talking to the NPC at Winterhold.

 

After that though, I expected more. Finding the pieces of the set, and then the diaries is exactly the same as finding keys. They are either in the container or they don't. I hoped for more quest elements, various tasks to collect the set. The escape was quite boring too.

 

A few ideas what I would have liked: The set pieces would be at story specific locations and each (or at least some) has a unique task connected to it. For example one piece is owned by your rubber shop NPC who won't sell it until you do something for her, for example testing a new rubber suit. Another piece could be in the collection of an art collector, who asks a lot of money or sex for it. Another piece is being worn by a female bandit chief and has to be killed to remove it from her. Etc.

 

I would have liked more lore about the Queen and her struggle to escape the set, I always enjoy reading your stuff. She also could have been part of the quest either as ghost or a draugr. Maybe saving her soul/putting her to rest/inheriting the set somehow would equip the set on the character not just the usual "suddenly is everything on you".

 

For the escape part I don't have any decent idea at the moment. I still would have liked more questing, for example looking for a map which might or might not lead to the King's treasure (which may or may not contain the key as well), failures (like finding a false key or asking lock expert thief who would send the player for a quest and then not able to pick the lock, etc.).

 

Another idea might be that the Winterhold NPC actually had the key the whole time and forces the player to do things for her freedom (sex and/or quests).

 

At the very least, at the end of the quest the WInterhold NPC should offer good money for the set as he wanted to do get it. Also, he said something about the King wanting to defend his daughter and insinuated that the set gives some very serious buff to the wearer as well (I checked the magic effects, but I saw only the usual negative ones).

 

 

I don't have the PO installed in this run, but I tried what happens if I got arrested. The key then is taken from the player, since it is tagged as stolen. I don't know if this is good or bad, probably bad, since player will use the console, having no other way.

 

I don't know if you tested what happens if you get arrested in PO, because PO removes everything from the character when cpatured. Would they remove the Queen set? The regular vanilla jail won't remove the set.

 

 

To sum it up, I think this quest has much bigger potential than it shows in its current form. I know that making all the above would be 10 times the work, but it would also make it much better (IMHO)

Yes, you can pick the gender of NPCs to be included in scenes.

 

All known compatibility issues are listed in the ReadMe. It does not break any vanilla quests. There are a number of 3rd party mods Cursed Loot can clash with in certain situations, but there are workarounds for them. Most of the time it will include not using a feature or two of Cursed Loot. E.g. you cannot use Cursed Loot's combat surrender feature if Death Alternative is also installed. Both mods offer the same functionality and would get in each other's way.

 

In principle, you shouldn't ever uninstall a mod halfway through a playthrough. It's a recipe for disaster (there is really no such thing as a clean save game). With all new mods it's recommended to test them, but keep an other save in case you end up not liking them and revert to that after uninstalling the mod. In Cursed Loot's case, you can disable all functionality via MCM, so even if you end up not liking it, you don't have to remove it from your load order, potentially corrupting your save game in the process. That being said, -most- of the time uninstalling Cursed Loot and cleaning the game should work reasonably well.

Nope it still not working sadly. I still can't get the dance animation or any strip or sex action to work form Curse Loot form the solition option. Yes i did run FNIS and made sure everything is up to date and still not working.

Much thanks for the replies and yes, I know that saves can break; hell,Bethesda's original stance was to start a new game if you removed a mod IIRC. Will give this one a spin then, thanks again.

It's Milk Mod Economy not FNIS sexy move that giving that warning.

 

I removed both MME and FNIS sexy moves form MO and i still getting the same problem.

No devious items equipped when starting the quest. I think the issue might be equipping the "Obsidian Catsuit", as whenever I try to equip that one item, I CTD exactly the same. I'm running the 7base body, and already converted everything else with bodyslide. I might try replacing the mesh for the Obsidian Catsuit with one of the converted meshes.

I apologize if this has been asked before. I skimmed back a ways but didn't see an answer.

 

Is there a config option for the triggering of loot events when sleeping while highly aroused? Getting tied up every. single. time. I sleep while stuck with cursed plugs is getting old, fast.

This continues to be one of my favorite mods, and I am amazed at how much it has expanded since the first version. I particularly appreciate the degree of customizability that has been built in. I haven't really found any bugs, but I would like to offer a couple of suggestions.

 

I've noticed that after a "Combat Sex" event, whatever the outcome the player is left in possession of all their stuff. It seems likely that bandits (and many other characters) would probably take some, if not all your stuff no matter what they ended up doing with you.  I know this is much harder to implement than it sounds, and many folk really dislike losing their stuff, but I feel like this would greatly add to immersion.

 

My second suggestion is one of personal tastes. You see, I prefer to keep my bondage looking fairly medieval and basic so I usually disallow the more modern looking devices if I can, most notably anything rubber. Now the MCM does allow you to deselect rubber devices from cursed loot events, but they still seem to show up in other events, and of course Leon and Leah are total rubber enthusiasts. It would be great if the rubber devices could be disallowed more universally, or perhaps replaced with leather equivalents  (if the models or retextures are available).

Ok, trying this out and have to say that I'm loving it. Incidentally, the first time I got raped by a bandit for picking a flower, I went all WTF?! Was really ninja-like and stuff *poff in* RAPE *poff out*.

 

That said, here's some more annoying questions that I didn't see the answers up front:

After I have locked someone in a dozen bondage devices and she pays me, when can I release her? Is there a timer or something, or is Gerdur cursed to wander around Riverwood forever, pony-girl style?

 

You can check if/when your keys become lost etc. Is there a way to set it when you want to initiate bondage via dialogue too? Getting locked up is fun, losing the keys ain't.

 

EDIT: Now with even more annoying annoying questions: When you disable follower slavery, the nipple and vagina piercings do not get removed, unlike everything else. Is this intentional? Secondly, how exactly can I get rid of them? Pesky things just absorb all magical energy I can throw at them (despite 100 skill) and I can't pick the lock.

 

PS: Enjoying the follower WAY too much, thanks for making Leah. Wasn't feeling like giving this a spin before with the male one so thanks again. The compass loss is kinda annoying though >_> . Stay out of my UI dammit :P .

Had a new problem yesterday, with sleep attacks; taking a nap in the Legion camp east of Dawnstar, I had a pretty reliable crash (9 out of 10 tries) just as the character would have woken up.  As in: go to sleep... pause... count down the hours... crash.  Nothing useful in the log.  I'm guessing there's something about the location keywords that maybe doesn't fit the usual wilderness / city / dungeon categories, but that's only a guess.

 

Disabling sex attacks seemed to fix it.  So did moving to another location (Hob's Fall cave) and sleeping there.

Is there a config option for the triggering of loot events when sleeping while highly aroused? Getting tied up every. single. time. I sleep while stuck with cursed plugs is getting old, fast.

This might be self bondage, and yes you can disable it or make it less likely.

The only MCM options that affect this feature are the global enable flags. Otherwise it will always occur when arousal is greater than 75, except when in a player home or in jail, the damsel in distress quest is running or a sleep attack has occurred.
