After visiting the Dollmaker, I went out and...got busy (started having sex to get the items off). But here is where I ran into a problem: no matter how many times I had sex, the counter did not go up. Whenever I have sex, the animations are always a masturbation animation for the NPC and the "vibrators going wild" armbinder animation. EVentually, the NPC gets their orgasm, but I don't and the animation is stuck playing until I force a reset. 7 seconds later, the animation resumes and I immediately get an orgasm, regain control of my character...and gain no sex act in order to unlock the Doll Suit. Am I missing animation that support armbinder sex? Do I need to wait a long time without resetting for the sex act to count? Is there something else going wrong?

I took a longer break because of FO4 and came back just recently, tried 5.1 and now 5.2. DCL 5.2 version 1. - Is this a Feature or a Bug? The Slave Rubber set now needs the Head/Body/etc keys to open. That's all right. However, there are 2 settings in MCM which affects the dropped keys. There is a Rubber key chance which governs the chance to drop the Head/Body etc keys. However there is another setting which shows the chance for the drop of Head/Body etc keys. The empirical testing process shows that the real chance for the required Head/Body etc keys in fact depends on the Rubber restraint key chance, and not on the Head/Body etc key settings. Basically I had the Rubber key on 2% chance (in Event parameters menu) and the Head/Body etc keys on 10% chance (in the Escape Options menu). I lucked a full Rubber Slave set on the character and I expected to find the keys at a decent rate due to the 10% settings. It became very obvious soon, that the chance is well under 10%. At the end I consoled myself a few keys, because it was too tedious to find that many keys at a 2% chance, especially that after that I needed to have luck again to find the correct one (Head or Body or etc). A suggestion: Please move all escape options to the Escape Options menu (or at least the key chances). Please add better tooltip if the above is a feature. 2. - Exploding animals I tried the SLUTS mod and I noticed that the attacking animals explode/die when they hit my character. Code Serpent Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 It seems that if I have a rubber suit and a chastity bra equipped, the rubber suit's breasts don't get shrunk behind the bra, causing some massive clipping. Does anyone else have this issue? If I have to change the Catsuit so that its breasts will fit perfectly under the Padded Bra model than it will lose one of its defining features not to mention that's a lot of work for something like that. Cat Suit is meant to have the rubber stretch over the breasts its like iconic now. I was referring to the fact that the Devious Devices breast node management wasn't being applied to the suit.

CliftonJD Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 (edited) hey, had to dismantle my mods over the holidays so that may be affecting things now, but I reinstalled all the requirements and everything "appears to be working" except if I dismiss all my followers and buy the package from belethor and return to Claudius with it and the 250 gold, i'm unable to progress thru the quest - choosing the dialogs that I have the items and i'm ready to go freezes the game after Claudius disappears and the gold is given to him after doing some digging I discovered I could coc ustolf's house no problem so I dug some more and discovered I could coc the quest target: spawns a clone of Claudius standing next to a door who's able to take the gold and complete the quest stage with the original Claudius still standing in the whiterun market posting a log of the crash, I couldn't find anything useful in it, hope you have better luck (the crash was repeatable, the same result each time, the game would freeze after paying Claudius) edit: after getting that crash ALL day then coc'ing the quest and reload the game and crashing again it somehow worked flawlessly the next game reload edit2: small detail I didn't thik it worked so I left it out ... -when I reloaded the game after is discovered that the clone was spawned with coc of the quest I resurrected Claudius before talking to him again to continue with the quest, no console info was given to show it did anything and cladius appeared the same without the usual npc change of a resurrect it was as tho nothing changed except I was able to continue.... Been stuck in that transparent catsuit for a loooong time and I was wondering why. 2= Yea this mod kills things that cant rape you if they attack when your bound. Like animals. Its like the mod is like "Dont worry about that gotcha covered." I dont think theres an option to disable that, just most people dont like being chased by animals and unable to defend themselves. I however have the bondage witch mod and an unarmed combat mod for armbinders. I was going to say I got it to work by making sure everything was registered and stuff in the menus. Are you willing to making a Curse Loot patch for the new FrostFall 3.0.1? I can't, as I don't use Frostfall and have no clue what needs patching. The FF 2 patch was provided by another modder. If someone makes a FF 3 patch, I can put it up for download. The issue with Frostfall 3.0 is not specific to Curse Loot its specific to Sexlab and particularly a file that is overwritten. Ashal addressed that somewhere today and the proposed fix was simply to install Sexlab after Frostfall 3.0 or with MO you just move Frostfall above Sexlab in its virtual directory. Thanks Ill try that too. What exactly is this fix supposed to do though you'll still get cold when naked either way right?
barak43 Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 the latest sexlab is 1.61b. and it's really working great from v1.6 a change happened in the way the animations are used. that change is not dealt well by Zaz Animation Pack. but the mod being very complex, it would be hard for someone other than xaz to update it xD

I know of two steps you can do to solve the freezing issue. Step 1: somewhere in the MCM you have options regarding fast travel. Make sure it says that fast travel is disabled as soon as you wear a devious restraint. Step 2: make sure you have done a fast travel at least once (like from Whiterun to Whiterun stables).

I still think its a good idea to have some of the NPCs that you can go to already to get out of restraints, like the blacksmiths for the high security ones, or the Rubber Lady, be able to buy keys from them. Since you can earn money via solicitation and that has its own risks and rewards. But the money earned can scale via level gained, which makes it a better long term solution since you would get better at it as you progress instead of getting a flat random key reward. I liked that about the Captured Dreams lady that you could pay to get free of restraints, never figured out how to buy keys though so I always end up just sticking key creation on easy so I can make my own, just also make it so keys break after using them and it balances out. You can buy the keys when you're dominant enough, only then will the master sell them to you. As for buying keys, there isn't any risk in making money. (as long as you're not using the solicitation function) Making money in skyrim is too easy, making it easy/boring to get out of the restraints. yep, i don't want to use money for the keys too. too easy, but use the solicitation to replace the money with keys (with added risk of course) now, that i find interesting. it could be not with every NPCs. just the ones that makes sense (those that are obviously Doms/Dommes for example) for them to have said keys I have overhauled the Solicitation for Keys feature to hand out actual keys instead of unlocking (standard) devices. So you will be able to use this feature to escape from devices requiring rare keys as well. That's intentional. The catsuit have a tag preventing breast shrinking. It would look silly getting deflated when putting on a catsuit. Rubber devices use Head/Body/Hand/Leg Restraints keys now. The bug part is that the rubber restraints chance is still in MCM. I will remove that. However, I would label it having an influence over other key chance a myth. Except you can explain how it's supposed to do that without getting referenced anywhere in the code outsides of the MCM (I just checked!) 2 - is a feature as well. It is active when Combat Surrender is activated. It will kill animals on the spot because they are not eligible for rape scenes. thelastczar Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Started up my game this morning and it turns out that solicitations are broken for some reason; I can still solicit NPCs, but nothing happens afterward - they just continue on with whatever they were doing before. If I talk to them after, the 'were you happy with your service' dialogue comes up as if the sex is already finished. I still get paid, but there's nothing in between. Haven't installed any new mods, it just stopped working. Any ideas?

Guest Long John Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 @Kimy - Is it possible for the freely entering or leaving the player slavery to be able to be disabled or enabled through an additional mcm setting (which becomes locked while enslaved). When going to the party from time to time the player character gets stuck (game freezes before leaving Whiterun). This sometimes happens while at the party when transitioning between areas of the house. Also could the Branding Device of Doom (or SlaveTats Bridge) be used to brand the player during their first slavery? In the case of the animals why not apply a flee AI package on them until they get far enough away from the player and/or humanoid companions in the appropriate situations.

Whenever I have sex, the animations are always a masturbation animation for the NPC and the "vibrators going wild" armbinder animation. EVentually, the NPC gets their orgasm, but I don't and the animation is stuck playing until I force a reset. 7 seconds later, the animation resumes and I immediately get an orgasm, regain control of my character...and gain no sex act in order to unlock the Doll Suit. Am I missing animation that support armbinder sex? Do I need to wait a long time without resetting for the sex act to count? Is there something else going wrong? that's a compatibility problem between the sexlab 1.6+ and Zaz animation Pack. to work around it, uncheck in both Device Device MCM and Zaz MCM the option to force Bound animations, and you'll get sex working most of the time (when not try to use the O key to force change the animation). it's a known bug, but until xaz comes back to fix it, we're stuck with it I've disabled the "Use Bound Animations" option in the Devious Devices MCM menu, but I don't even have a Zaz MCM menu, while I do have the Zaz Animation Pack installed (I can confirm that I at least have the .esm) Is this a problem? yes it is. you should have a MCM. try to look if you're missing something that Zaz need. ^^, Thank you, for making me realise I've been running with the unpatched 6.05 version of the Zaz Animation pack all this time. I've patched to 6.07 and the menu succesfully registered. What is the option called exactly in the MCM menu? I didn't find a "force bound animations" option in the Zaz menus.

After visiting the Dollmaker, I went out and...got busy (started having sex to get the items off). jaberwocky Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 I have overhauled the Solicitation for Keys feature to hand out actual keys instead of unlocking (standard) devices. So you will be able to use this feature to escape from devices requiring rare keys as well. Yeah, no more grinding for keys (as I am planning to lower the chance to find keys dramatically). Although it does mean that I cannot do the slave belt event as being belted and doing solicitation does not go well together. But, with the chance of a failed solicitation, my character will probably be belted most of the time anyway. Small request I mentioned before, could you add a check box that disables/enables the shopping trip quest and perhaps disable/enable solicitation for keys only.

I took a longer break because of FO4 and came back just recently, tried 5.1 and now 5.2. DCL 5.2 version 1. - Is this a Feature or a Bug? The Slave Rubber set now needs the Head/Body/etc keys to open. That's all right. However, there are 2 settings in MCM which affects the dropped keys. There is a Rubber key chance which governs the chance to drop the Head/Body etc keys. However there is another setting which shows the chance for the drop of Head/Body etc keys. The empirical testing process shows that the real chance for the required Head/Body etc keys in fact depends on the Rubber restraint key chance, and not on the Head/Body etc key settings. Basically I had the Rubber key on 2% chance (in Event parameters menu) and the Head/Body etc keys on 10% chance (in the Escape Options menu). I lucked a full Rubber Slave set on the character and I expected to find the keys at a decent rate due to the 10% settings. It became very obvious soon, that the chance is well under 10%. At the end I consoled myself a few keys, because it was too tedious to find that many keys at a 2% chance, especially that after that I needed to have luck again to find the correct one (Head or Body or etc). A suggestion: Please move all escape options to the Escape Options menu (or at least the key chances). Please add better tooltip if the above is a feature. 2. - Exploding animals I tried the SLUTS mod and I noticed that the attacking animals explode/die when they hit my character. Is this mod doing this? If yes, is there a way to disable this (so for example Defeat could take over)? 3. Saving settings I can't thank you enough for this feature. I suffered through to set up 5.1 and when 5.2 came out if was so good just reload the settings... *happy tears* 1 - is a feature. Most custom keys have been removed in version 5.0. Rubber devices use Head/Body/Hand/Leg Restraints keys now. The bug part is that the rubber restraints chance is still in MCM. I will remove that. However, I would label it having an influence over other key chance a myth. Except you can explain how it's supposed to do that without getting referenced anywhere in the code outsides of the MCM (I just checked!) 2 - is a feature as well. It is active when Combat Surrender is activated. It will kill animals on the spot because they are not eligible for rape scenes. I have to do -something- with the animals, and you can't kill them when bound after all. The alternative is letting them kill YOU over and over. Which is less than fun. Thanks for the answers. 1. Hm, if I understand right, you are saying here that the setting in the Event parameters menu is not working, it is a setting which does nothing at the moment. Empirical testing however shows that this setting is responsible for the drop chance of Head/Body keys. Since I set Rubber Restrainst key chance to 10% too, I get them significantly more often. Please make sure the keys will still drop after you remove that part, because I'm kind of sure it has something to do with it. Of course I might be completely wrong. I will play with this setting a bit more. I set Rubber Restraint key to 0%, Keep Head/Body/etc keys on 10% (or raise to 50%) and enable key drops without being bound. After that I just keep opening containers and see if I get any Head/Body /etc keys and will post another message about my experiences. EDIT: OK, i did the testing, you were right about the Rubber Restraint keys setting. Head/Body etc keys still drop when it is on 0%. Maybe the problem was then the individual relative chance for the Head/Body etc keys? I remember when these keys were 1st introduced the chances were real chances and 10% worked very well. Now I had all 5 chances (Rare and the 4 individuals) at 10% and I had really really hard time to find keys. Now for the testing I had 70/50/50/50/50 and they appear without problem. I'll play with this setting more. 2. Well, it kind of kills the challenge. If you are not very low level, you can try a lot of things to avoid animals, depending on your devious devices. You can try to rush, use rocks (to f up the pathfinding of the animal AI), dropdowns, NPCs to get rid of animals, etc. Having a few levels can give you enough HP to survive an encounter. On the other hand the hostile NPCs have 100% success rate versus the bound character. So IMHO the fun part is now removed from this, because animals always lose, hostile NPCs always win. Now you just run through counrtyside, avoid NPC areas and that's it. If you still meet NPCs, they will get you, automatically. I remember when the Courier in Chains came, it was one of the most interesting new quest. It really made me think, I had to come up with plans which way to go, what areas to avoid, where to sneak, where to rush, swim, etc. I'd like this back and part of this is the danger that the animals bring. If it is not too much work, I'd like if this would be an optional feature.

CliftonJD Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 hey, had to dismantle my mods over the holidays so that may be affecting things now, but I reinstalled all the requirements and everything "appears to be working" except if I dismiss all my followers and buy the package from belethor and return to Claudius with it and the 250 gold, i'm unable to progress thru the quest - choosing the dialogs that I have the items and i'm ready to go freezes the game after Claudius disappears and the gold is given to him after doing some digging I discovered I could coc ustolf's house no problem so I dug some more and discovered I could coc the quest target: spawns a clone of Claudius standing next to a door who's able to take the gold and complete the quest stage with the original Claudius still standing in the whiterun market posting a log of the crash, I couldn't find anything useful in it, hope you have better luck (the crash was repeatable, the same result each time, the game would freeze after paying Claudius) edit: after getting that crash ALL day then coc'ing the quest and reload the game and crashing again it somehow worked flawlessly the next game reload edit2: small detail I didn't thik it worked so I left it out ... -when I reloaded the game after is discovered that the clone was spawned with coc of the quest I resurrected Claudius before talking to him again to continue with the quest, no console info was given to show it did anything and cladius appeared the same without the usual npc change of a resurrect it was as tho nothing changed except I was able to continue.... I know of two steps you can do to solve the freezing issue. Step 1: somewhere in the MCM you have options regarding fast travel. Make sure it says that fast travel is disabled as soon as you wear a devious restraint. Step 2: make sure you have done a fast travel at least once (like from Whiterun to Whiterun stables). the solution was to resurrect Claudius from the console @Kimy - Is it possible for the freely entering or leaving the player slavery to be able to be disabled or enabled through an additional mcm setting (which becomes locked while enslaved). When going to the party from time to time the player character gets stuck (game freezes before leaving Whiterun). This sometimes happens while at the party when transitioning between areas of the house. Also could the Branding Device of Doom (or SlaveTats Bridge) be used to brand the player during their first slavery? In the case of the animals why not apply a flee AI package on them until they get far enough away from the player and/or humanoid companions in the appropriate situations. pass the word next time you have Claudius issues to resurrect him from console possible suggestion for future fix to make a Claudius fix from the mcm
