Slorm Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 I'm still on v4.8 as I'll not have a chance to update to v4.9a until Friday night as rl is busy this week. I saw the earlier posts regarding the odd behaviour of disappearing NPC's after sex attacks and thought I'd mention an oddity I have experienced and haven't reported before as it's pretty trivial and never seemed that important. Indeed, it may not be anything to do with DCL and just a Skyrim AI error. After a sex attack at Candlehearth Hall, for some reason now most of the NPC's (usually 5 or 6) congregate in the bedroom when sleeping or hitting "T" to make the time pass. It doesn't matter how long the period is, even after an hours rest they'll all be in the bedroom then disperse, if you pass time for another hour and they're all back in the bedroom again. It only happens in that one location so I personally think it's just an AI glitch but I mention it in case it's relevant in some way. When I do the upgrade I'll test it at cleaned game stage though with AI issues script cleaners are pretty hopeless so it likely a waste of time, but if it does clear up the issue I'll let you know. @Kimy Sorry to quote my own post but I do have something of interest from this. I have cleaned out DCL v4.8 using a script cleaner and then gone to Candleheath Hall and the NPC's are behaving normally again (no more congregating in the bedroom). I've no idea what's happening but something is. I'll let you know what happens when I reinstall v4.9a EDIT: Tested after reinstall of v4.9a and the NPC's are all back in the bedroom again. This is rather odd EDIT2: Tested on a new game with the same result, it seems to have crept in with v4.8 (never ran v4.7 so maybe there as well) it wasn't in v4.6.

Slorm Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Bug Report There are some problems with Estrus Chaurus 4.00a. 1/ DCL will not trigger tentacle attack only slime or dwemer machine (see log 2) 2/ Tested out of range of Whiterun with a chaurus and tentacle attack works (see log 1) 3/ Tested closer to Whiterun and for some reason a crowd of NPC's are drawn to the pc even though crowd is switched off in DCL (see log 0) Also a question on Serial Strip is it supposed to kick in when a standard event goes off as the old routine still runs (wasn't sure if that was upgraded or not)? Hope the logs are of some use Papyrus.2.log Papyrus.1.log Papyrus.0.log
Blackness blackness is... Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 I am always open to feedback and suggestions, but polls are something I am pretty much guaranteed to never do. And don't worry, one way or the other corsets are going to stay. In case I am going to phase out the existing ones, I will replace them with an alternative implementation, consistent with other DD items. yus!
unmog Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Hey, fair enough. I guess the only really way to fix that would be to have two options, one for your camp and another for mine. Then again, I can always use Deviously Helpless and Dangerous Nights to get what I want, so it is more than reasonable that yous should here as well. Nu I'm here with ya, I didn't like how Deviously helpless did a few things either, and I prefer DCL. I just also have had to turn off the sex attacks almost completely since the teleporting bandits bothers me so much. I think if you're in an otherwise safe or empty place then it shouldnt bring a person in from no where to make sure they can attack you. To me thats like saying you get hit with a cursed loot event because "its that time again" when you werent even opening a chest, and frankly stupid. If Kimmy had to lower the amount of rapists that'd be fine, I thought somewhere upwards of 50 rapists was rediculous What now the whole city is going to rape ya? I dont even think Ive seen 50 npcs all in the same room before regardless. When picking plants and stuff, I'm sometimes getting a notification about the ground shaking beneath my character's feet. I'm assuming that's the estrus thing. I've got Estrus for Skyrim and EC+ installed. I'm not getting any estrus attacks though, just a notification about the ground shaking. I ended up having to uninstall Estrus, I only tried it out because DCL made a mention of it, but I also had those rumbles and couldnt figure out what it meant. I never got to see a single attack either, but maybe I play too carefully. Either way I didnt think it was worth a place in my load order. Maybe if Kimmy could incorporate it without needing to use some other buggy mod, from what people was saying about Estrus at least. I just didnt trust it, or myself for that matter since I wasnt sure if I had simply installed things incorrectly Is it possible to add option for saving my MCM setting? Having to repeat my adjustment after every new game gets tedious really fast for this mod. Id be all for the ability to save the settings to an ini file and load it later. I know Kimmy says she doesnt like that idea since she changes stuff too much but if thats the case just have the DCL menu say "sorry cant upload changes from this file the settings are out of date" or something. Would be much preferable to "difficulty sliders" If you feel like removing corsets from DDCL, please do a poll first to check if that's a generally acceptable idea with everyone, as I have not had a single problem with them, and enjoy them being implemented into the mod. I'm not saying problems should be ignored just because not all of us are having them, but I hope you consider other user's thoughts Sorry if I sound like a complete bitch, I just thought I would get my thoughts across. I like the corsets and havent had many problems, I am aware what they are though. Its the fact that when wearing a belt it combines the item into a new item. I dont see an issue with Kimmy making her own versions of the corset that dont combine. Might be a little clipping, might not, who knows I dont think anyones tries it yet. I'm still on v4.8 as I'll not have a chance to update to v4.9a until Friday night as rl is busy this week. I could run over there for you now, Im running 4.8 and am in white run. Ill see... oh wait, sex attack? Yea thats your problem right there, turn the buggy things off Thats probably why I havent noticed it before.
mybrainhurts Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 I'm not playing a male character and I have no child follower mods or killable children mods. But DCL shut itself down apparently thinking I did and the male override check does not work. What I do have is SexLab Hormones which in its latest version involves changing the player to a custom race. Could this be the problem? DCL was fine before I got to the race change part of Hormones. Also, the hint for the male override option in the MCM reads something to the effect of "enables fairly verbose debug messages." So maybe the male override option itself is broken? EDIT: Hormones did indeed set my character's gender to male somehow. So no problem there, I can fix that. The thing about the hint for the male override is still true however.
ninjakris Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 I love this Mod a lot! I really want to try out the content in 4.9 but for some reason none of the traps work. Even with Arousal being 100% I get nothing. All the other aspects of the mod work fine, just not the main part. 4.8 was the last version to fully work for me. Is anyone else having this problem too???
Guest Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Some one might have reported this but anyway: BUG REPORT: Sex attack cause the rapist to play generic surrender quotes. (eg: "I yield! I Yield!", "I cannot best you", etc)
zenetx Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Same here for the open hood for the Doll quest: it doesn't render in game. I see the mesh and the armor AA in the CK, so I'm a bit puzzled by this. Haven't spotted a matching texture file - but then, I'd expect a purple hood if that were missing (not an invisible one). I guess it's because the default device hider slot (long hair), which may be conflicting with the hood. Try to change it to something else in the DD config menu.

chipstick Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Hey, fair enough. I guess the only really way to fix that would be to have two options, one for your camp and another for mine. Then again, I can always use Deviously Helpless and Dangerous Nights to get what I want, so it is more than reasonable that yous should here as well. You're very gracious. It's not our decision, but gracious of you nonetheless. And again Kimy, wherever you take DCUR, thanks for the fun you've given us.
gooser Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Just wondering if anyone has tried a playthrough with DC Loot and the Nexus mod called "Legacy of the Dragonborn", which is a mod supporting 'completionist' playthroughs. I get stuck in the very beginning when I visit the gallery and never make it through the tour. EDIT: figured it out. I configured DCL so solicitation is only enabled for Collared players, inside of inns and without armor. Also, I had removed SL Dialogues (which ironically is listed on the main DCL as a potential source of conflict, where the mod at the same time lists SD+ as a recommended/supported mod. SD+ now requires SL Dialogues. Doh!)
Kimy Posted June 26, 2015 Author Posted June 26, 2015 Also, I had removed SL Dialogues (which ironically is listed on the main DCL as a potential source of conflict, where the mod at the same time lists SD+ as a recommended/supported mod. Alas, trying to support SD doesn't necessarily mean I will be able to in all cases. I wish SL Dialogues came with MCM toggles to restrict its features to the actual SD master, or at least would stop trying to remove DD items indiscriminately of whether or not they are quest items. Oh well... But I see your point and the irony of having to declare a partial incompatibility between Cursed Loot and one of its "recommended mods" isn't lost on me. I suppose I will need to remove SD from the "recommended/supported" list, eventually.

I am currently not running any slavery mods because of that.
Slorm Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 I'm still on v4.8 as I'll not have a chance to update to v4.9a until Friday night as rl is busy this week. I could run over there for you now, Im running 4.8 and am in white run. Ill see... oh wait, sex attack? Yea thats your problem right there, turn the buggy things off Thats probably why I havent noticed it before. It still does the same on a new game with sex attacks turned off, but I suspect you are correct as to the root cause.
Slorm Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 @Kimy Also noticed that Flashbang now uses neutral NPC's (tested in Whiterun) rather than bandits. Not sure if that was intended as the only real problem in v4.8 was bandits materialising out of thin air for sex attacks, I can't recall any problems with Flashbang. I'm going to rollback to v4.8 for now and EC+ 3.94 as I find the tentacle animation a lot more atmospheric than being raped by a piece of pink bubble gum . Hope the logs were of use btw.

The change was intentional to keep flashbang traps in line with the other sex attacks, but nothing would keep me from going straight to bandits for this kind of traps.
Doombot7 Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Say, would it be possible for you to add an MCM confing for slave/slut collar armor restrictions? Basicaly i wanted to do a playtrough with a permanent slut collar, but the restrictions prevent me from wearing any type of armor (or cloth in this situation since i wanted to play mage). Or maybe you could create a "Bimbo" collar that would be a regular lockable collar that would force you to have sex with everyone you talk to (just like the slut collar but without armor restrictions).
Slorm Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 One last thing as I did some testing with EC+ without DCL and the NPC's crowding round still occurs so ignore that log. I'm not sure why as I have removed entirely all the c=scripts and and the esp from Estrus for Skyrim. No matter I'll ask Bane_master about that one.

I could add that, sure, but that's one thing I really don't want to do as it would water down the purpose of these items. There might be another item coming soon you might like, though.

Just set the sex attack to a frequent and high chance and put a collar on.

Just set the sex attack to a frequent and high chance and put a collar on. I dont really want to increase attacks since i had problems with them interupting some quests, like in dawnguard where Isran stopped adresing others before the attack on castle to take advantage of my char, some of those instances didnt continue once they were done.
Kethrian Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 I just encountered a small problem. While doing the Cursed Collar quest a second time with the same character, upon making it into the dark dungeon, the two key-required doors (into the cell area, and the cell containing the wizard's skeleton) were closed and locked. I used TCL in the console to get through them, and the quest finished just fine, but they should have been open when I first entered, closing only after the talk. Just to say again, everything was fine the first time my character did the quest, but those two doors were closed and locked when I entered for the second time.
gooser Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 It appears that if you use DCL's Surrender Attach mode (where you surrender if low on health), and you have a follower, that follower can end up bound. But even checking the inventory i don't find anything to remove, nor is there a special menu to relieve the follower of the bonds.
Nicoya Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Escape option suggestion: Speak to the local Jarl and ask for help. He/she removes all your gear and any remaining clothing right away, then equips an inescapable yoke or something. You then get sent on a series of "diplomatic missions" starting with calming local bandit camps and working up to delivering important trade documents to a hold capital or something. The missions basically involve "run to the target area, deliver a letter, get boned by everyone, return with a response letter which includes a review of your 'services'" Getting raped or injured along the way there or back knocks down your review points, with the letter containing complaints about you showing up messy or covered in blood. Might be a good idea to send along a town guard to escort you there and back. A flawless run would be maybe one bandit camp and one small town, before finishing up with the hold capital. A bad run might be five bandit camps and two towns before finishing up with the hold capital mission. [ed: weird, I tried to post this as two separate posts and it merged it into one. Forums...] Played around with the rubber doll quest this evening. Seemed pretty nice. One moment of immersion breaking though was when I spoke to the doll maker and she ran through the "let's get it on with the rubber doll" scene, which involved her stripping out of her rubber suit. Also when buying stuff from her, there didn't seem to be any clues as to which color item I was buying. Finally, she didn't seem to be wearing the full set when I found her, notably she wasn't wearing the hood. Not sure if that's intentional.
