Pretty sure I just have a bugged save from using too many dev builds of various mods, but 4.4 distress quest is bugged for me.

 

The new distress quest didn't put any items on me, just the hogtie, checking the log I got several None is not valid inventory errors

 

Like I said, this log is full of crap so I'm just going to try a save clean tomorrow, Leaving this here in the event it's actually useful though.

 

Nope, save clean did nothing and new character gets the same bug: damsel quest results in no-restraints, just hogtie

 

Log is:

new character via alternate start ->

set cursed loot events weight to low but the damsel quest to high ->

set min arousal to low ->

set chance to high ->

open barrel ->

get quest event, hogtied ->

break out of hog tie

Edit: SD enslave isn't working either, although I've never actually gotten that event before now, it now says Player is slaver, nevermind, and gives up.

 

 

The quest started up just fine for me on a new game. I'm still trying to find enough keys to get out of all of Kimmy's evil equipment 3 hours later :P

 

From looking at your log Zad (DDi) appears to be trying hard to equip devices but failing miserably due to "none" variables for some reason. Are you running DDi version 2.9?

Yes. I had to make sure it was the official 2.9 and not the commit, but I'm definitely running 2.9.

Not sure if it was asked but is it safe to just update from 4.3 to 4.4 or clean save recommended?

 

I had no problem with just update and running with an old save.  I just made sure I had no C loot quests running and all devices off, usual stuff.

Got one idea about item sets: how about doing it the way it done in "Skyrim bound" mod? You can select a preferred item of each type or keep it random. So you can actually mix and match different sets as you want.

Mod stopped working for me after v.4.2. I have mcm settings, keys, safeword and *tie me* - all of it working well, but nothing happens when i activating container, no debug messages. Here my load order and paryrus log.

I've got an idea where it would be great if you could think about implementing it:

 

A more specific item deactivation system. I think Devious Captures has a very nice variant, where you have a list of the different styles (leather, ebonite, metal) and colors (black, red, bronze) that are available throughout all the Devious item pool.

From this list you can deactivate certain item variants (eg don't use white, bronze or ebonite).

Would be great if you could think about this. Maybe with a random fallback if there is no fitting item available. (So it was told no leather no metal, which collar to choose?)

With 4.4 I am having issues when a customer invites a friend to share you with during a solicitation scene.  Have not had much chance to mess with it, but in the few tries I have given it the stripping animation plays then they walk away, talking to them again they act like the event completed.

 

Included log has mod added NPCs, but get the same problem with vanilla NPCs.

hi, i'm a bit confused: when using Bosyslide to create mxw Body there's always an erorr occuring. Anyone help?

Also the Catsuit files don't work same errror. When clicking on preview the window stay empty somehow.

A small bug: I had an explosion with bandits. After the rape they added a Heavy Yoke on the character (among other things). In 3rd person everything looked ok, but in 1st person, I could see my own hands (I could not use them though).

 

I also had gloves on the character. When I talked to an NPC, he added locks to the gloves. This resulted the character continously moving the hands between the behind back and the yoke position.

 

I don't know if the 2 things has anything to do with each other, but NPCs definitely shouldn't add locks to gloves while wearing a yoke.

 

 

Also, I'm pretty sure Kimy has nothing to do with this, but the flavor text says that the elbows are locked together, but the character pose has the elbows quite far from each other. It is kind of bad for immersion. Would be nice to have a pose where the elbows are touching or really close to each other.

I'm rather fond of the tiered preferences approach of Deviously Helpless. Choose your first preference "Leather - Black", then your second preference "Steel - Silver".

 

 

I like the one of DD Captures (if it is from there ^^) more, because it still has more variety.

Helpless offers a whitelist, Captures a blacklist, so it has (probably) more options to choose from, but still the player doesn't get what he doesn't want (most of the time).

 

So eg, I like both, the black AND red version, but no ebonite. Try to tell this Helpless.

 

And another idea (man, I am that productive atm xD):

Timed devious loot. I recently had the problem that I found an Aradia harness at Lvl 1 in Jorrvaskr. Just came the first time from Riverwood to Whiterun, BAM.

So maybe take some of the more nastier equipment (the Living Harness, Cursed Collar, ...) and give them a rasing chance with raising level. So that they start at 0% chance (or maybe 1%  :angel: ) and let them raise with the PC Lvls until they reach the chosen max chance.

Thanks for the update Kimy, your mod gets better and better each time (or worse, from my char's perspective ;) )

 

Regarding updating DCL on a current save, you may need to clean it. Initially when damsel in distress triggers, I would get bound on the spot instead of teleporting to the cage. A new game worked fine, and so did my current one after I cleaned it.

 

I can also confirm unmog's report that the sharp object escape setting breaks the arm restraints (visually takes all the arm restraints off, but it still thinks you've got them on so doesn't let you take the rubber suit off).

I start becoming afraid speaking to NPC's. Some of them already mention, that they would love to keep my PC. Others makes some notes about my cuffs and stuff.. I treat them like containers, leave me alone same i do to you!

 

But i must admit, it's more as fun, when the Master of Captured Dreams sudden say, that she like my cuffs and she can't wait till later to get in chains as well :D

I must have missed that feature on Captures... Mine doesn't have those options (perhaps I'm missing an update, though).

Brilliantly, she was the first one to slap a load of devices on my PC. Trying to drum up business I guess.

 

Another idea: hook into frostfalls rescue events to make it a little more unforgiving.

- Theme selection - I will probably go with a Helpless-like system. I find it more straightforward to tell the system what you want rather than what you don't want.

- Frostfall hook - I don't think I can reasonably hook into Frostfall without setting up a hard dependency on it, which is a no-go.

- @TNT90 /re Frostfall patch: I added a few new items and changed others, so it might be that the FF patch needs an update.

- No punishing items below a certain level: Having been locked in a Living Harness AND Shock Boots when first reaching Riverwood, I like that idea. Will happen!

All up to you of course, but I like the idea of giving the mod the ability of more variation by telling it what you dont want. But ok.

 

And how do I have to understand that last sentence? I get frightened again, Kimy  :s . Not that you build in a system that hardcodes the first two found items as Living Harness and Shock Boots, or sth like that ...

It's a file naming error.

 

Go into your Data/CallienteTools/Bodyslide/ShapeData/ find Cursed Loot mxw_Catsuit and change to mxw_Catsuit

Would this not affect those, who plays with the "Life another deviant live" mod?
