I'm not sure if the "universal keys" actually drop from regular loot at all. You need to try special means like doing things in the DCL inn, open lootboxes, dareboxes free bound girls and maybe volunteer to get bound with greatest reward when NPC's ask you.

Can anyone help out with a problem im having ?

 

When ever i try entering to The Whip and Chain, skyrim chugs down to 1-2 fps then close's with out any error or message.  

 

New game and just finished the Riften part of the dollmaker

I went back an saw many with similar issues,  Saw one post about devious body alteration conflict, removed it and done a new game, but still chugs vram entering in there.

 

But i think 9/10 the issue is with AMD,  Just had a forced driver update and now skyrim wont even qasmoke. lol.  Thanks amd,

Then you didn't find it, and it should have almost nothing to do with other mods. I for example nearly always play with DBA and it is very very stable. Your Skyrim is unstable when memory is concerned.

Other thing about crashing when DD is concerned is that your HDT physics and body might not be installed right. It requires XPMSE skeleton, regular XP32 won't work.

 

Regarding uninstalling and installing mods, whenever you disable a mod that contrains scripts you need to be aware that it can leave traces behind in your savefile. They can still affect the game badly even if it's uninstalled, and even if you install it again. Skyrim doesn't even know how to reconnect the old scripts back to the mod when it's installed back. So in short your save isn't clean anymore after you uninstall anything. Any unpredictable thing could happen.

 

Almost every mod in LL contains scripts, whereas only about 1% of the mods in Nexus has them.

Yeah, i have the skse mem patch and memory blocks, and havent removed any mods on this save game since starting it.  24gb vram but it still doesn't like it.

 

And now when ever i try to load my save that was working when i was standing outside the whip and chain inn, the new AMD driver crashes hard and reports the driver timesout,

Hi. I've noticed that DCL traps and rape were working fine up to a certain point, but then it just stopped happening, including the messages about rape-risky actions (being naked, weaponless, etc.). Do these features disable whenever the "quest active" in the debug window is on "true"?

Yeah they disable. Quests like Chloe, Cursed Collar etc. will set that "true". You can still find keys, dareboxes and non-trap DD's in loot and NPC behavior remains. However Bound in Skyrim does not disable it as it's just something on the background.

Thanks. So if I have Chloe and Bound Queen running, I'll have to finish them both to resume these DD events? Now half my playthrough feels like cheating...

Chloe 100%.

Bound and queen if you are in early stage, then it not blocks. But in some of stage it's start block.

I assume if you run both quests - Bound queen is in early stage what not blocks events.

 

Seems you play DCL 8.5 or lower because in DCL 9.0 both quest can't run in one time.

8.5, you're right. I'm just not sure what's the safest way to upgrade without losing any progress. I think the blocking started when I got into the "talk to Nazeem in the hall of dead" part of the quest, and with the Bound Queen I just read the book

There no safe way to upgrade without losing progress.

It's need new game or game where dd and dcl not installed.

Yes blocking starts from that point and if you read just book, it's not block events from bound queen.

You need completely end Chloe quest. Then in 8.5 you are free and events will start trigger

Abot to give up on the whip and chain,  I still cant figure out anyway to enter in without exploding.  Is there any other new quest's in there and is it worth trying to figure out to get in?

I deleted a bunch of NPC's from the whip and chain cell in the ESP with tes edit, works fine now can enter with out vram nuke,  Not sure if they were important or just part of the decorations

There is NPC what gives quest, there are NPC what is used in quests and there is NPC what is decoration.

Not quests but mini games. Only one NPC gives quest and this is Owner of inn.

Yeah, i made sure to leave her alone so i could go in and get the bound queen,  Not sure if it will break things later on or not so i kept a backup to undo the deletes

If you install ENBoost you can configure a higher allowed amount of VRAM that Skyrim can use, as long as your GPU can support it. Its other optimizations might also do something helpful.

 

Also i don't remember now if it was DD's or DCL installer but you can choose quality of textures. Using 2k textures would naturally demand more VRAM.

You could simply move them to a holding location, and then ... in game ... once you are in the W&C, port them to you one by one, or port them back to the holding location.

Then you can check what each NPC does, and get them back if you need them, and find out if it's a specific one that is causing your crash, or just the sheer number of them.

Ok so ordenator, will check but in the mean time there is a minor inconvenience, whenever my PC is about to get raped and she has a chastity belt i get stuck in that animation unable to move....... Really annoying to always have to reload the save..... Any help....... Also if someone can tell me where to find UNPB bodyslide preset to mach all the DDs so there is no clipping id very much appreciate that.

Hello I would like a bit of help for the bound queen quest. (some spoilers ahead for obvious reasons)

I'm at the moment where the guy in the library refuses to unlock me after gathering all parts of the chastity key. This chastity key is now hidden in the college but I can't find it, and the npc is essential so I can't kill him either.

 

Could you help me locate where the key is supposed to be hidden ? Because I've looked for a locked container everywhere, including down the Midden but I can't find anything and I'm starting to lose my mind.

 

TL;DR : I need to find the locked container in the College where the chastity key is hidden.

Its down in the 2nd level of the midden.  There's this pit of bones with two skeletons... and a bookcase.  You gotta pickpocket Julius for the key to this bookcase though
