The rape event doesn't seem to take into consideration the trap restrictions.  This makes a bit of sense, but there aren't any restrictions on rape at all otherwise, so I tend to find my character stuck in a full suit.

 

If my character springs a trap it seems to do a better job tracking filled slots and not equipping the same item/slot.  But rape events seem to double equip a lot more often.  I'll be wearing bondage boots and it will force equip another set of bondage boots and I'll somehow be wearing two bondage boots.  Or sometimes it doesn't so much force equip, but it still adds the items to my inventory, so I'll have 3 leather corsets, or four red leather arm bands.

 

DCL rape events seems a lot more stable and effective than Defeat or Yamete.  I just want a bit more control over the force equips.  It would be better if at least it didn't force add an item that already exists in my inventory, or force equip a cursed item when I was already wearing a cursed item.  While creating another set of rules might be best overall, I'd be happy if rape events used the same rules as trap events.  So if I turn off full suits, add item limits, or turn off options like high restraining devices, or turn on options like forgiving dungeons, It would be nice if they worked with rape events as well.

Also, just want to say I totally love the mod.  I'm just trying to find a way to make it work in a playthrough that also allows normal gameplay with the spice of DCL.

Does the Dollmaker call you to come back for other quests after the delivery quest to Riften is completed?

So far, it is. But the Bound in Skyrim quest arc will be expanded in the future! :)

Can you please make it so i can select my item theme preferences to ropes. also i have set mine to white ebonite but sometimes get red ebonite items when bound

Hi,

 

A couple items of feedback/suggestions

 

  • If using the rape feature it can teleport draugr/people in dungeons, hypothetically unaware of your presence given they're not attacking you, to you to start a rape scene. This strikes me as a little odd. Also of note, if animals are not enabled in the mcm, the draugr still get teleported to you, but then the scene breaks (unless this is something messed up in my setup specifically).  Suggestion: It might be nice to add some sort of "line or sight" or "awareness" check to rapes, instead of teleporting them directly to you, though I'm unsure of how feasible this is from a technical standpoint (though I think deviously enslaved has a similar feature)
  • I really like the layered concept of the ultra-tight straitjacket. However, it can be a major showstopper in dungeons and stuff due to how many keys it requires (I know I could use merciful dungeons, but more minor showstoppers can be fun). The problem presented is also very binary; you either have enough keys and can work your way out (turning this back into a minor showstopper), or you don't and have to look around for some, which may or may not require leaving the dungeon entirely (major showstopper). Suggestion: I think it would be neat to have a similarly layered item, but that can be struggled out of, piece by piece. Call it the "Super-tight straitjacket" or some such.

@Kimy I think there needs to be a check on what race of NPC can confront the player after public indecency (I think this is what this is). I'm also fairly certain this was caused by DCL but if not, sorry for wasting your time and let me know so I can delete this.

 

In short, Devious Carriages put some DDs on my character before I got to Solitude. She got raped by the vanilla carriage driver there and I got notifications that someone saw noticed and my character has been reported to the guard or something. Little did I know that Solitude has employed talking horses to help carry out "justice". Hilarious, but I don't think this is intended.

Just check this horse reference and i can swear as 70% that this horse is added from some mod and marked as guard for error.

I am having a problem, when I solicit myself, it skips the sex scene and when I talk to the npc again it continues as normal. Basically the solicitation is just skipping the sex scene. I am not sure what's going on, if there is an obvious fix I am just not seeing? It could be a incompatibility somewhere but my mod list is pushing 200 individual mods so if its that it will be a nightmare to sort out. But its probably just me being an idiot.   

 

The mods that I think may have caused the problem,

SL framework v162

SL aroused v28b

SL confabulation

SL solutions

SLIF

SL animloader

Many packs loaded

 

That's the only other problem I have save the occasional crash but at almost 200 mods its bound to happen...

I would suggest to open and close the console while the NPC says the final line before supposedly starting the scene. At some point it will start bumping up information about searching for a scene and failing (the text in the console usually stands still when nothing is going on, so you can simply open it. If nothing moves, close it, wait a sec and open it again, eventually you will catch the text in action).

 

Sometimes the bug is so simple that the console itself will tell you what you should do to fix it. Otherwise you could just copy it in here and we will have more details.

 

If that doesn't work, you would have to provide a log (which is usually a bit harder to read) and hope someone here is capable of reading it XD

 

P.S: While we are at it, know that in general, holding the console open while the sex scene is being processed seems to be good practice, since it stops time and prevents other things from happening. I often do it whenever I know sex is going to start: open and close console until the text starts moving, then hold it until I see the message that an animation was chosen, then release the console, scene then starts almost immediatly and nothing could happen in the world in the meantime to ruin it.

That happened to me in the newest run. Bad new is I also have not found out the cause of the problem. After tweaking almost every LL mods in my mcm, the problem fixed itself so I never bored to investigate further.

However I notice the problem only occur when u solicit in bondage, and the animation may load twice. I think my problem is because of ZAZ filter conflict with DD filter. So I just disable it. DD5 however no longer have an option to mess up the filter so I cannot test further.

Yea, that might be it,, the error I am getting is a "Thread 0 - cannot find valid default animation" and estrus animations are not starting either. I will look into the zaz/DD animation conflict idea, play around with the mcm and see if it helps. 

Another idea, DD just updated to 5.0 and it was a pretty big update, perhaps it created some kind of conflict with DCL? It does say on the mods main page that additional DDevices will not play nice with DCL... I don't actually know about mods... just a thought

So I did some leg work, and it seems like DCL or even sexlab for that matter cant see the estrus animations or the animations are not properly tagged, the only other thing I can think of is that I have gone over the animation limit.

So I found out it was EC+'s doing, you have to register the animations in their mcm in order for them to be properly tagged.      

 

 

 

If someone who knows more about this has any info I would appreciate it.

From what I can tell DCL is not starting the animation at all

I made a clean save with no devices on my character and still no animation, not only that but the usual console messages about trying the start the animation, its filters and such is not there. So I am not sure what's up.

so i am currently doing the learning the ropes quest, but i am unable to remove the armbinders. I am unable to remove any of the rope armbinder through normal means, and only the first armbinder through console command (at one point i was able to remove the second one but not the third, but now i also am unable to remove the second one). I even tried the free me optin in the mcm, both remove normal device and the remove all device but still cant get them of (also cant remove dollmakers collar with free me remove all option). Would appreciate any help

 

edit: actually, just realized that the free me option just doesnt work at all.

Please help, for some reason my game crashes to desktop when I try to "take their valuables and leave them" option on surrendered enemies

whether they're bound or not, the game strips them and gives me the loot but then it crashes as the enemy de-spawns

if anyone could help with this CTD that would be amazing

Safeword does not work on the Ultra-Tight Straitjacket.  It had no effect at all, either with the generic option or the ALL option.  II wound up getting out of it by giving myself 100 Body Restraint Keys with AddItemMenu and spending almost a half hour of real-time fighting with it. 

 

I then went into the MCM and set the weight on this item to 0, because I just don't find that particular device sexy at all.  This part isn't a complaint, because the option is there to disable it (something I really appreciate about this mod in general), but somehow I missed this one when I was setting my options (which I always do immediately on character creation), apparently.  That said... 25 by default?  That's considerably higher than the other similarly restrictive options, if I recall correctly.

 

Also, the Chloe quest... I never was able to find the package.  When I went to where the quest marker was, there was an ash pile that I couldn't loot and an option to squeeze through a narrow passage?  Which just took me to a place where I couldn't get back to where the quest marker was.  I ended up having to load a previous save and leave the poor girl there (abort quest) which also bugged out in that it didn't terminate Bound in Skyrim the way the release notes say it should?

 

In fact, I still have Bound in Skyrim even after choosing the safeword ALL option which specifically says it will terminate that quest!

 

So, something is very bugged out and I hope this doesn't mean my new character already has a borked save.

 

Also, I just wanted to note that I really liked the way the quests were before, where I could pick and choose which quests I was interested in doing and not be stuck with having to do ALL of them.  Especially since, if one of the quests bugs out, it now blows up the entire quest chain, whereas before it just meant I couldn't do that specific quest.  I feel like linking them all together like this detracts from the mod rather than improving it.
