fathippo Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 @fathippo: Did you get the other items? Or none? Do you have the latest version of DDx? I assume that since you say you tried the new pirate end, the elf Melaran showed up. Right? @others: Anyone else seeing this problem? dont think i got any of them. i do have the latest version and melaran did show up
stobor Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 @fathippo: I don't see any way that can happen, unless the FormIDs in your install are different from the ones in the DDx mod. It is obvious that the relevant script ran, otherwise the mod wouldn't have used that ending at all. Sorry, without more information to go on, the only thing I can suggest is that you give your character those items using the console.
eric_starbuck Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I tried the new path through the icerunner without being in chidna mine. It works fine. At the end, instead of escaping, I gave my PG to Erikur as a slave through Maria Eden mod. this way it was much more immersive than just leaving.

Right? @others: Anyone else seeing this problem? dont think i got any of them. i do have the latest version and melaran did show up I can second this one ... using DDx-v1dot2 (1.2), Melaran shows up as expected when Pirate count reaches 25 but no items are added to my inventory. When attempt to talk to Melaran, he just keeps repeating I should put the corset on but there's no such item in my inventory (or in his when I pickpocket him). The door to deck is now unlocked so I can waltz right off the ship, but the quest won't continue. Lack of corset occurs whether or not I picked up a door key from the First Mate at some point (my first guess what was wrong), whether or not I'm wearing any other clothing or bondage items (which the crew occasionally put on me for fun, seems to be part of this quest). And it's not missing textures ... there's nothing at all in my inventory that wasn't there before. I'm going to try reinstalling DDx and see if it helps, but not tonight.

If I am reading it right, DDx 1.2 only has the black version of the corset. Red was not added till 1.2.1, so you would need to update.
justbob2 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 I just downloaded the newest revisions of both this mod and Angrim's Apprentice. Before I start them, I was wondering if it matters which one I do first to get the best results from the cross-over content you mentioned?
stobor Posted April 16, 2015 Author Posted April 16, 2015 @justbob2: I don't think it matters what order, or even whether you choose to follow both quests - the cross-over does not require tight integration between them, and doesn't really alter the plot in either case. I chose to put the additional magic effects in Angrim, rather than directly in Devious Cidhna, because they fit better with the themes of that mod. And because it gives people the choice of whether or not to include that aspect. Edit: Come to think of it, there is one order-dependent interaction: Angrim won't teach you if you're still wearing the restrictive gear. And this mod does not remove those items, so you'd have to find another way to get loose. Standard keys work (e.g. from Cursed Loot). @others: Sounds as though I may need to add a version check to the DDx part; I'm mildly surprised that anyone is still using a version from a couple of months ago, but apparently they are.
eric_starbuck Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 I am probably using an old version too since it was a while I didn't launch Skyrim. but everything was perfect in my playtrough.

bathoz Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 I'm not getting Meleran spawning at all. Got onto the Dainty Sloag (or whatever it's called) via Simple Slavery. Been through Cidhna, but not cleared Silvermine. There were invisible bindings on me that were on me before SS triggered. But I removed 'em by consolling a restraints key. Otherwise, I don't know.
stobor Posted April 16, 2015 Author Posted April 16, 2015 @gllzhgllzh: Have lots of pirate sex? Or set the variable in console. @bathoz: Most likely, Melaran won't spawn because it didn't detect DDx in your install (or you're hoping for him to spawn at night, which it won't do - that would result in you standing around outside Erikur's house waiting for morning so you could open the door).

I'm not even getting marched out. Nothing happens when dvCidhna_Pirates switches over to 25. As it is I'm pretty sure any mods that mess with the force greet are disabled, though I'm going to give that another hard look. Otherwise, I don't know what else. I've gotten all the gear off to switch to the next stage of the quest (try and find a way off). I've then gone to 25 with gear on and off. (I've been set staging it back to 24 to test). -shrug- I realise diagnosing through the internet is near impossible, so no worries.
stobor Posted April 17, 2015 Author Posted April 17, 2015 @bathoz: The trigger isn't a force-greet, it is a dialogue topic in the "Are you ready for me" tree (one of several, but I believe it takes highest priority among them when the conditions are met). The first mate would have his own (higher priority) branch, so talk to some other pirate.

I have a feeling it has to do with Mod Organizer not "liking" the way DDx has it's own installer. When I look in Mods under Devious Devices Expansion the Meshes/devious/expansion folder does not contain the CBBE .nif files (I'm using the CBBE-HDT body). Tried dragging and dropping them in, reinstalling (merge) the latest DDx and running Bodyslide 2 - no change, Melaran still shows up but I don't get any new gear. Has something to do with this thread, I believe: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/43710-ddddx-bodyslide-22d-cbbe-hdt-body-updated-20150228/ However I can't get toptoper's mod to work under MO either. Looks like it's not Devious Cidhna causing the problem (one clue is some restrictive boots are invisible). Sorry to post here, though if anyone has suggestions?
stobor Posted April 19, 2015 Author Posted April 19, 2015 @eurgetes: If the meshes/textures were missing, the items might be invisible (or purple) but should still be added to your inventory. Since you have the latest DDx, try looking at the console for the correct form ID ('help restrictive', page up until you find the red leather one, it will start with 'RD' I think). Try adding that to your inventory ('player.additem ID'). If that works for you, post the ID that you found - the symptoms suggest that it is different from the one I see, somehow. If you cannot find the red leather corset via the console, then DDx is not installed correctly. If you find it, but it has a different form ID, check the first two digits - do they agree with DDx's place in your load order? If not, which mod do they match?

The RD-Restrictive Corset is available and the form ID has the right first two digits for my DDx (0E). If I console it into my inventory as you suggest I can put it on - at which point Melaran's dialogue progresses to telling me to put on restrictive boots I don't have. So something about the trigger for adding the needed items to inventory is not working for me. I suppose I can just console all the items into my inventory and see if the mod will continue. Or start disabling my other mods one by one to see which is interfering (ugh, I hate that).

Add those via console and put them on, M. tells me to put on gloves. Ditto, now the collar. Finally once all these are in place, M. puts the yoke on me and I get a quest start for "Prize Possession." It looks as if I now have to walk myself up to Solitude with Melaran tagging along behind me. Correct so far? (Hard to tell where the goal is since I can't use Map with the yoke in place.) I'm going to fiddle a bit with other Devious mods I have running. I have Deviously Cursed Loot and Deviously Helpless turned off via the MCM menu, but I have been leaving Deviously Enslaved active while on the Dainty Sload for the added immersion value ... maybe it's the problem with the items not adding somehow.
stobor Posted April 22, 2015 Author Posted April 22, 2015 @eurgetes: Write down the IDs you found, post them here. I'll check against mine. Also - you haven't renamed the ESM file for DDx, have you? It can't be a conflict with Cursed Loot or Helpless, I had both of them installed when I was testing it (though parts of Cursed Loot were temporarily disabled). Yes, heading up to Solitude with Melaran in tow (making rude comments) is normal at that stage.

Yes, heading up to Solitude with Melaran in tow (making rude comments) is normal at that stage. It wouldn't even have occured to me to rename an .esm - sounds like a sure-fire way of screwing stuff up Devious Devices - Expansion.esm All the RD Restrictive items for me are 0E0159xx, with xx = as follows: Corset 8C Collar 8E Gloves 90 Boots 92 They show up and work properly when I add them via console and put them on. Well, except for the items failing to add when Melaran shows up everything seems to be okay with the mod for me.
stobor Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 Yes, the IDs all agree (not really surprised, I don't see how they couldn't). The other thing to try is to check the quest variables using console command: sqv DvCidhna_DaintySload and look for the 'Corset' variable. If that (and the others) got filled in, then I'm at a loss - the items should've been added to your inventory in the same routine that moves Melaran to the Dainty Sload (and Melaran moves last, so if something aborted the routine, he shouldn't have shown up).
r5e4w3q2 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I had a strange thing happen at the end of the Erikur path, I think something got skipped somehow in my playthough. We walk in, he talks a bit. Spanks me, has sex once, then ties me up and walks off. I struggle a bit then just stand there unable to move.. A save and reload gave me back control and I walk out the door. I never saw any mention of depleted plugs, nor a belt to hold them and never got Atronach Flesh. Was there a dialog options I missed or did I somehow skip a stage of the quest? Just reloaded and didn't get stuck this time, so a fluke or my clicking a bit too much. No idea on Atronach Flesh, maybe I have to get caught escaping somehow? Otherwise, things went great and it was a lot of fun. Thank you!
stobor Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 Atronach flesh would only show in active effects after a vibration event (while unclothed).
r5e4w3q2 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Ah, no scene where you earn it? Ok, just kinda expected something with how the escort went on about how his slaves don't last long. It is amazingly hard to get a vibration event when you want one. Did get it to work and everything seems good!
SuperDuperKing Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 did the Garvey mission work now i was getting ctd when i first use it
