It really is Giant's Grove. Admittedly the only way into Giant's Grove is Fallowstone Cave which is why I'll give you the avocado.

Sorry, I forgot to provide the answer. It was a mountainslope north of lake Illinalta and east of South Brittleshin pass. I stumbled upon that location while exploring for a place to build a cave.

While we are here at Skybound Watch, is there any point to the place? What I mean is that, as far as I know (which might not be very far) it doesn't get you anywhere. You still have to do quite a bit of scrambling down the mountain to get to the road behind Riverwood. Is there a secret exit which I have missed for four years?
