D'oh! I just did the Dark Brotherhood quests (before my save died from shoddy mods). Why didn't I get that myself?

You'll never guess who I've just bumped into - Hrefna from Darkwater Crossing. I was on the Whiterun plains heading towards Rorikstead at the time. I was too shocked to grab a screenshot.

Also passed two farmers, one heading to Solitude to join the legion and the other heading for Windhelm to join the Stormcloaks. Both heading in the wrong direction. No wonder the war's going badly.

I believe it without the screenshot. It has been several games ago but I ran across Indara Caerillia (of Corpselight Farm, Falkreath) just outside Ivarstead. What was really weird was that she attacked me! This didn't appear to affect me game in any other way.

Enodius Papius will give you a splinter if you're not careful, and it turned out the sawmill hours were just murder.

 

I don't remember the skylight so this is probably the wrong location, but that nordic dragon head makes me think of Sunderstone Gorge where Runil would often lose his journal or I'd go for dragon fire breath.

 

Here's some shots from the last few days. Cicero will get his wagon wheel fixed thanks to my PC's efforts with Lorieus but his dead horse, killed by a wandering storm elemental, will pose an entirely different problem.

 

One location to guess is deep in the complex, a large dining area with a gate to the left, locked by a lever on the other side and a door in from the right and a door out behind me.

 

Two paths fork from the center short path lead to these two dead ends, with unique keys for the locked door at the end of the center hall.

I'd just done Shriekwind and noticed a skylight. I say I'd done but I came out in the same end I went in. Middle of the night and walked straight into a huge party of vampires and had to run around in the trees trying to stay alive. At one point I jumped behind a tree to get away from the bastard who was hammering me with shock and found myself nose to nose with the fugitive guy who hands you a weapon and says he'll collect later. I know what you're saying. The last time he did that to me I was fighting off Forsworn outside Kolskeggr mine. He can most certainly be a nuisance.

On another topic I'm not sure who to get to fix my nails. I'd go to Ysolda. She's sweet and she knows ALL the gossip. But I swear the girl is dyslexic or something because when she's done my nails look like they had been done by Adrianne Avenicci on the forge.

Olfina Gray-Mane does the best job but everything is political with her. It's Talos this and Stormcloaks that. Who cares? Even when she talks about men! Instead of doing it right and talking about Danica Pure-Spring and her "acolyte" Jensen (she's old enough to be his grandmother for the Divines' sake) she wants to talk about how men disrespect women. She wants me to stand up and be strong - I think she just needs to get off her high horse and let Jon Battleborn bang her. We all know they both want it but neither of them are willing to say anything.

The nails wouldn't be so bad but that Word Wall has left me half deaf. Ysolda tries telling me about the Jarl and Fianna (he's been trying to get under her skirt for years, you know). But I couldn't make out whether she gave in and finally let him have his way or whether he has finally come out and expressed undying devotion to Irileth (I bet you thought that was Platonic - where do you think Nelkir really came from). Anyway, in a day or two I'll try her again when I can hear. She'll probably have forgotten we've talked about it by then.

Of course you're right about Sunderstone Gorge. The location is about halfway through. It is taken where a skeleton normally is standing guard and next to a silver ore deposit. It also contains the Word Wall for one of the Fire Breath shouts.

I believe what you're describing is Ragnvald although I admit that, like the lemming, I don't recognize the locations off hand (this is not a dungeon I enter in most of my games).

Forelhost is correct, and the 3rd and 4th shots are from the same (but not Forelhost) location. I realize I didn't make that clear.

 

You get your choice of imperial officer disguise or stormcloak disguise.  Gotta warn you though, the stormcloak one is a little bloody.

No clue. I actually set Grass Rendering in my ini files to 0 so none of it appears and doesn't eat up my VRAM. The only grass I want in my games comes baked into brownies.
